Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 90: 17_1
In the bathroom, the girl bit her lip hard.
Feeling those rough, large hands, there were several times when she almost couldn’t help but scream out loud.
He didn’t actually do anything excessive, he just wouldn’t let her move while he washed her.
He washed her carefully, every part, every inch of skin, until she was completely clean.
Despite his noble status, his hands were incredibly rough.
His palms held calluses, especially around his forefinger, as if he’d been gripping something for many years.
She heard that he had his own ventures outside, with influence in both the legally and illegally sectors.
She even wondered if those calluses formed from holding a gun for years.
Ye Ying said his shooting skills were extraordinarily accurate, and Ye Ying learned shooting from him.
If Ye Ying is already that powerful, acing the shots even in the darkness, what about Uncle?
Could Uncle’s capabilities be so incredible that she couldn’t even fathom?
“What are you thinking?” The man behind her leaned in, asking quietly near her ear.
“Uncle!” Baili Xia was so scared, she nearly slipped.
Scaring someone could give them a heart attack, why would he suddenly start speaking?
“Seems like you tend to daydream when you’re around me, huh?” He hummed indifferently.
Baili Xia, with her wide innocent eyes, shook her head, “No, I was just…
thinking about you.”
“Thinking about me?” That’s unexpectedly surprising.
“Yes, thinking about you.” Baili Xia never liked to bluff unless it was really necessary.
This time, she was being honest.
Lowering her head to glance at his large hand resting on her body, her cheeks blushed once again.
She bit her lip, asking quietly, “Uncle, your palms are so rough, but you come from such a good background…”
“Just because I come from a good background doesn’t mean I don’t have to work, look at me, I am working hard right now, aren’t I?”
The man holding the bath ball was indeed working hard as he said, scrubbing the girl in his arms.
Baili Xia closed her eyes, endured her shyness, and ignored him.
This man, is never serious.
She was talking about something important!
“Tell me about your past.” As she kept quiet, Mu Xiaojiu was the one who started the conversation.
Baili Xia thought for a moment, then shook her head, “What does Uncle want to know?”
She didn’t notice the flicker in his eyes, only heard his calm voice from behind, “When did you find out you were adopted?”
“I’ve known that since I was a child.
Mom never hid anything from me.” She replied truthfully.
He was silent for a moment, then asked again, “Haven’t you ever doubted your origins?
The necklace around your neck, didn’t you ever ask your mother where it came from?”
“This?” She lowered her head to look at her necklace.
Seeing where his hand was placed, her face turned a few shades redder.
“Mom said when she found me, the necklace was already around my neck.”
At his signal, she shyly spread her hand, then placed it against the wall, biting her lip.
“Uncle, can I ask you a question?”
“Feel free.” Asking was her right, but answering was up to him.
Baili Xia still felt hesitant, knowing that her question would definitely upset him.
But the doubt was hard to bear if it was not clarified.
“Uncle…” She licked her lower lip, took a deep breath, then finally asked, “Do you know grandfather was looking for me?
I mean, before you…before you…”
Some words were hard to start, but since the conversation was already this far, it made no sense to stop.
“Before you…had my uncle deceive me into that hotel.”
