Under an invisible force, the debris pressing on Wanda’s mother began to rise from the ground, levitating as if defying gravity. Subsequently, a robust and handsome man exuding a warm golden light descended from the sky like a god!

With a snap of his fingers, a crimson magical aura enveloped the endangered Iryna, swiftly revitalizing her weakening breath.

At that moment, Wanda felt like she was in a dream. After her prayer, the seemingly hopeless situation was instantly resolved by the handsome man before her. Could he be a divine messenger sent by the gods? Or was he the legendary deity himself?

Meanwhile, Chris, observing the young Wanda who already displayed hints of her future breathtaking beauty, softly spoke, "I’m sorry for being late. I couldn’t save your father, but it’s okay. Your mother will be fine. Come, become my daughter! In the name of Chris Rogers, the King of Conqueror, I swear that no more tragedies will befall you and your family!!!"

Chris revealed a charming smile akin to Whitebeard’s charisma from One Piece, and extended his hand towards little Wanda.

At that moment, Wanda couldn’t possibly comprehend the significance of Chris’s promise. This promise meant altering the tragic future she was destined to endure—losing her mother, her brother, her husband, her children, and even facing self-exile towards a bleak end.

Unaware of the impending tragedies, the young Wanda was simply bewildered by Chris’s words. Although she didn’t fully grasp the implications, she understood his offer to become his daughter.

What should have been an absurd gesture somehow felt right to her when she met the gaze of the man before her. Despite her young age, she could sense his goodwill. This man seemed to understand her deeply, even knowing everything about her!

Following her intuition, the future Scarlet Witch extended her small hand to the man before her who had saved her family, shining brightly both in her eyes and in her heart...
