Chapter 1365 - 1332: No Eating Allowed!

Lann, who had regained some strength due to the infusion of newly generated blood into his body, was now bowing his head.

His eyes refocused.

But what appeared before him now was a scene that defied common sense.

The blood that had sprayed out of his body vanished without a trace once it hit the ground.

The pure white petals in the sea of flowers remained immaculate, unmarred by the slightest trace of blood.

Yet, within his body... it even felt like it was starting to bloat a little.

The initial blood loss indeed stimulated the [Belisarius Forge], coordinating the body’s organs to engage in hematopoietic activities.

However, the blood that had been expelled, ’adjusted’ by the power of the Moon God... now seemed to have reappeared entirely within his body.

An ordinary person, under normal conditions without blood loss, can forcibly inject only about five hundred milliliters of blood into the body.

This amount adjusts within a wide range depending on weight differences.

Any more would lead to severe reactions.

Lann’s body had not been that of an ordinary mortal for a long time, but even the surplus blood within his original body had a limit it could bear.

The spray of blood from the blade piercing his heart earlier must have expelled at least five hundred milliliters.

Now all that expelled blood had fully returned.

A second ago, part of the blood that sprayed from Lann’s chest dripped down his skin, staining the belt at his waist and the dragon skin skirt armor red.

It also trickled down to dye the dragon scale layered leg armor red.

But in the next second, all those bright red colors disappeared.

The previous scene felt like something Lann might have imagined in a dream.

Lann, his muscles stiff, slowly raised his head to look at the Ancient God that was always calmly lying on the ground, reaching its severed limb towards him as if waiting for him to drink its blood.

’You have bought yourself another five minutes,’ the peculiar figure with three hollow eyes stared unblinkingly at Lann.

’But that blood will always occupy your body.’

’You cannot discard it, you can only change it.’

The method for this so-called ’change’ had always been evident.

—It was on the severed limb of the Moon God that continually stretched toward him, always bleeding.

After using its essential powers, the Moon God had always left Lann with only two paths.

Either Lann would die from blood loss.

Or, become its child, kill it, survive, and become the new Ancient God.

So even when seeing Lann, unfazed and without hesitation, pierce his own heart, the Moon God remained unperturbed.

Because all of this was still within its plans.

However, the young Demon Hunter, with blood still constantly gushing from the wound on his chest yet invisibly returning to his body,

originally raised his head but then suddenly lowered it in a silent laugh.

’So, when utterly speechless, people indeed start laughing,’

Suddenly, such a thought popped into Lann’s mind, which had just regained a bit of vitality.

’Until now. Until this very moment. It actually thought... I would choose the path it laid out for me?!’

’It actually thought... I would surrender to it?!’

At the thought of this, a smile increasingly large and unnerving crept over Lann’s still beautiful face, pale as it was.

Mentos, tirelessly checking for bodily issues and attempting to find a solution to the problem with newly upgraded calculations, was nearly driven mad inside Lann’s mind.

But suddenly, the biocomputer analyzing bodily problems suddenly received an anomaly report from two organs that ordinarily had gone unnoticed, always functioning stably.

This made even the previously rational and logically operating biocomputer freeze completely.

In the self-created interface for handling bodily issues, the right half of Lann’s brain and the space between his thymus and heart suddenly surged from a field of normal gray-white to conspicuously abnormal bright red!

Mentos immediately understood where the problem lay.

—[Holy Song Pituitary] and [Genetic Seed]!

These two super organs, which had consistently functioned stably since implantation, now erupted with rampant activity!

Mentos was also driven mad, utterly clueless as to why these ordinarily docile entities were now causing chaos at this critically urgent moment!

But regardless of what it understood, it couldn’t change the fact that the [Holy Song Pituitary] and [Genetic Seed] genuinely enhanced the organ’s activity and initiated spontaneous, comprehensive regulation of Lann’s bodily condition.

Until the biocomputer gains university-equivalent permissions, it cannot intervene in the material body’s main system, but these super organs are far more aggressive!

Their style is nothing like the cautious and meticulous biocomputer produced by the Human Union.

The [Genetic Seed] and [Holy Song Pituitary] both have functions for overall hormonal control, monitoring physiological status, and overseeing the operation of various super organs.

Now, inexplicably activated together, the first change in Lann’s body is... his blood flow accelerates like a speeding car!

It seems to echo Lann’s rejection and disdain for the now ’adjusted’ blood within his body.

From the cut on Lann’s chest, the gushes of blood increased in intensity.

But under the power of the Ancient God, it still invariably returned to Lann’s body.
