Bear School Astartes
Chapter 1384 - 1349: Busy
Early the next morning, Lann woke up on the bed in the headmaster’s bedroom.
The smooth, delicate cashmere thick mattress enveloped his heavy body, making him feel like he was sunk into a layer of cream cake.
Comfortable and light.
Lann propped himself up, and his bones and joints burst into a series of ’crack-crack’ explosive sounds.
The feeling of stretching and awakening his body made him breathe out comfortably.
"Phew~"
"Your voice." Margaret sat completely nude at the dressing table opposite the large bed, her teasing eyes reflecting from the mirror towards the man on the bed.
"Sounds like last night. Is it my technique that doesn’t satisfy you, or is stretching just so delightful?"
"It’s nothing like that. Where else in the world can you find a woman as amazing as you?"
Lann sincerely praised the feeling between them from last night.
This straightforward and sincere compliment was very pleasing to the Female Warlock.
Because Lann knew what she liked to hear, to some extent...he thought Margaret was quite easy to please.
Margaret, with her back to Lann, sat nude on the cashmere stool in front of the dressing table.
The stool didn’t have a backrest, so as Margaret was doing her hair, her entire back was exposed to the sunlight.
The sea breeze and sunshine outside Airetusa rushed in from the window, lighting her snow-white delicate skin as if it were glowing slightly.
From the back, even without intentionally tightening or straightening her body, Margaret’s figure was a perfect and enticing, almost ripe hourglass shape.
When she raised her hand to fix her hair, her ample and soft bust completely exceeded the width of her back.
And her waist and hips area, above was an abruptly tight waistline where tight and healthy muscle lines were visible, below was the similarly suddenly full peach shape.
Compressed into two flat shapes on the cashmere stool.
It’s undoubtedly supernatural power that shaped such beauty and desire-filled body.
The Demon Hunter’s appreciative gaze carefully swept across the beautiful body, and when it crossed the mirror, he also met Margaret’s gaze through it.
That gaze was teasing and eager.
Margaret similarly enjoyed Lann’s gaze.
The greed for each other’s bodies expressed by lovers could make people feel comfortable.
Hot and unreserved, the Female Warlock’s lust mostly manifested like this. When facing her irresistible little lover, Margaret’s passionate outburst was especially typical.
After being mentally tense for a long time, finally relaxed completely last night, Lann also stood up from the soft and light bedding.
He began to dress himself.
Now it was the Female Warlock’s turn, amid her makeup struggles, to stare at the mirror and appreciate the beauty.
Simply putting on a shirt and pants, the Demon Hunter walked behind the Female Warlock, bending over to hug her while kissing her exposed shoulder.
The simple touch made the Female Warlock shiver.
"We...maybe we could get up a bit later?"
Margaret’s breath became heavy.
"I still have guests, remember?" Lann said reluctantly.
And Margaret finally cleared up a little from the intense chaos magic power tingling sensation caused by contact with Lann.
She grunted dissatisfiedly.
Then she leaned in closer to kiss Lann’s exposed ear lobe, speaking gently.
"Well, tonight, I’ll prepare some magic. Or...I heard Gos Velen recently got a Female Night Demon."
Because of the concept of separating ’sex’ and ’love.’
If it was just about satisfying desire, then Margaret even once got Lann a room at the Silver Swan Inn, wanting him to have fun with the waitresses for a few days to relieve stress.
If Gos Velen really recently got a Female Night Demon, then Margaret thought trying something new sounded normal...or did it?
But Lann twitched his mouth.
—Turns out she still remembered?
When Margaret first told Lann a dirty joke, the young Demon Hunter, not wanting to appear weak, directly said his ideal first bed partner was a Female Night Demon.
Seems this hurdle wasn’t going to be passed.
So Lann could only ’ha-ha’ awkwardly laugh and quickly run out of the headmaster’s bedroom away from Margaret’s slightly smiley expression in the mirror.
Lann’s appearance, as usual, caused a stir resembling a breeze within Airetusa Academy.
The student who first saw him coming out of the headmaster’s bedroom initially froze on the spot, then widened her eyes and opened her mouth.
She did not scream like a typical stunned little girl, after all, she was a Female Sorcerer Apprentice.
But that excited and thrilled expression undoubtedly indicated that, in at most an hour, this academy’s various Female Warlocks would all know this news.
Lann often adopts a polite but indifferent attitude toward those eyes so heated they lack emotion, filled only with lust.
When returning yesterday, it was Airetusa’s resting time, so Lann and Maria, Adeline hadn’t noticed much.
But by sunrise today, the entire Airetusa gave them a real sense of ’this academy is indeed preparing for a large event.’
The moment he stepped out of the dean’s bedroom, the expensive and well-soundproofed door demonstrated its value.
The sudden onslaught of noise made the Demon Hunter raise an eyebrow.
The apprentices were being run ragged, dashing back and forth, in a dizzy state. And the teachers issuing orders to the apprentices weren’t faring much better.
They all lifted their skirts or simply wore tight-fitting pants convenient for movement.
The Female Warlocks didn’t shy away from flaunting deep-cut tops, their plump chests energetically bouncing as they ran, almost seeming like they’d leap straight out from those wide-cut collars.
The Demon Hunter strolled through Airetusa’s luxurious and ancient corridors and halls, the warm-toned lighting reflecting off the lacquered woods.
And the silver Roaring Bear Head Badge on his neck seemed about to dance of its own accord.
"Make way! Make way!"
An apprentice, not bothering to look up, shouted while casting a Floating Spell, floating a huge bundle of banners and streamers before him, running forward.
Lann sidestepped and hugged the corridor wall but still brushed past the streamers drifting by his nose.
Then, Lann tilted his head slightly upward along the wall.
A series of wall-mounted candle holders lit up in sequence, as though connected to a circuit, then dimmed again.
It seemed the Female Warlocks were testing the reliability of these magical candlelights, hallway by hallway.
The busy and chaotic footsteps, interspersed with the teachers’ commands, as well as the apprentices’ responses.
And the sound of disputes when orders conflicted.
Lann suddenly felt a bit familiar, similar to when he used to catch large events at school.
Busy yet most of the students felt quite expectant.
The only expectation Lann had back then was at least a chance to have fun during a large event.
While these female sorcerer apprentices, though after completing the academy’s setup tasks, they would have to clear their dorms and move out themselves.
But for most of them, they probably couldn’t wait to move out to live, enjoying themselves without restraint. So even while working now, they’re eagerly anticipating.
Most of Airetusa’s halls and corridors are continuously bustling, while the normally bustling classrooms and laboratories have become quieter.
At least, only the hurried passing footsteps could be heard, unlike the tinkering noises as if under renovation.
"I’ll help you! Oh..."
Before turning a corner in the corridor, Lann heard Adeline’s voice.
She started with her customary enthusiasm, but before she could finish, she was left astonished.
Lann could almost imagine this warm-hearted Blood Saintess, with a penchant for helping others, reaching out to assist a female sorcerer apprentice moving things, then seeing the apprentice cast a Floating Spell, and the awkward and embarrassed funny expression on her face.
Then, Philixia Koli’s voice came with amusing laughter akin to what Lann had on his face.
"Alright, warm-hearted lady, I can handle this pile of crap, goodbye."
By the time Lann rounded the corner, Philixia’s figure floating several redwood chairs had already faded into the distance.
Leaving behind just the flushed Blood Saintess, clutching her poor hem.
"No need to blush for not being helpful."
Lann passed by her while teasing, reaching for the door handle of the back room.
"No! I’m not..." Adeline followed behind Lann, speaking anxiously, yet awkwardly stalled halfway through. "Such a pretty lady, why say... those words?"
The Blood Saintess from the Healing Church hardly ever hears such brash swearing as ’pile of crap.’
Even among Yan’an’s supposed most dangerous, explosive Hunter group, they never vent emotions, only silent hunting.
When they do vent emotions, it’s mostly when they go mad.
"I can only say, female warlocks are like that."
To this, Lann could only respond with a polite smile.
Feeling he couldn’t, nor wanted to, cover up anything for female warlocks.
Perhaps influenced by outstanding female warlocks like Margaret, Triss, Tishaya? Anyway, he quite appreciated these women’s personalities.
With a "click," Lann turned the door handle, entering first.
Greeting him was a waft of earthy scent, along with the unique humus odor found in environments where fungi grow.
His sensitive nostrils instantly captured these smells distinctly, but they couldn’t affect Lann.
This was Airetusa’s herbology laboratory.
At dinner yesterday, Tishaya informed him the three plants transplanted from the New Continent were cultivated here.
When Lann and Adeline entered, Tishaya and Maria were already standing in front of the nursery.
