It was only because of her explanation, and the fact that no enemy had appeared, that Li Qian dared to let Qizai slow down.
After flying for a while longer, Wu You suddenly spoke up and had Li Qian stop.
Li Qian knew the rescue team must have contacted her through her Active Metal Mecha Battle Armor.
He brought them to a stop, quietly waiting for the rescue to arrive.
Just then, Li Qian heard Wu You, the woman from the Wing Race, grunt in pain. Then, before his surprised eyes, she retracted her limp wings back into her body.
Li Qian was very curious and wanted to turn and look, but by the time he did, he only saw the sealed Active Metal Mecha Battle Armor.
"You’re not to speak of this to anyone," Wu You warned, her gaze turning icy as she looked at Li Qian after retracting her wings.
Li Qian pointed to her back and asked for clarification, "You mean the shoul—"
Seeing her expression turn cold, he quickly corrected himself. "The wings! Don’t worry, my lips are sealed!"
As he said this, he even made a zipping motion across his lips.
Just as they were speaking, several Roller Coasters flew in at incredible speed.
The doors opened, and several official Beast Masters in Public Security Bureau uniforms emerged, cautiously approaching while scanning the area for potential threats.
The Public Security Bureau officers came over and immediately asked about the situation. Upon learning that Li Qian was fine but Wu You was severely injured, they wasted no time in carrying her onto a Roller Coaster.
The vehicle whizzed away, disappearing from the scene in the blink of an eye, presumably to take her to a hospital. Li Qian let out a long sigh of relief.
’Finally, I don’t have to be on edge anymore. As for what happens later, that’s a problem for later. I might be long gone by then, and I’ll never have to see Wu You again.’
Not long after Wu You was taken for medical attention, Li Qian left with the Public Security Bureau’s Security Officers in another Roller Coaster.
The Roller Coaster was fast, and it wasn’t long before they were flying over Nandu City.
This was Li Qian’s first time in Nandu City, and he was arriving in a Public Security Bureau vehicle. The feeling was rather peculiar.

"Everyone from your Flying Ship flight is grounded in Nandu City for now," the round-faced Security Officer continued. "If you’re not in a hurry to continue your journey, you could take some time to look around. If you are, well, that’s a different story."
His words reminded Li Qian of something. He asked, a little sheepishly, "Excuse me, Officer. I was wondering, how is the Flying Ship Company handling this incident?"
The round-faced Security Officer smiled, happy to clear things up for him. "The Flying Ship Company has already sent out a notice. You should have received it on your phone by now."
"You probably haven’t had a chance to look yet." Seeing Li Qian reach for his phone, the round-faced Security Officer didn’t leave him in suspense and just told him the details. "According to the Flying Ship Company, they’re offering two compensation options."
"First, a full refund, or you can take another one of their flights to your destination free of charge within seven days."
"Second is a compensation of 8,000 Federation Coins."
Li Qian nodded slightly after hearing the two options. The Flying Ship Company’s offer was quite generous.
After all, strictly speaking, the company was also an innocent victim in this attack.
