In fact, other than trying to find Scorchy to tell her about the mission, he’s also there to ask her a question.

Why is she staying in Zone Y?

All the remaining survivors in Zone Y was rescued.

The enemy’s base was destroyed, there is no longer any reason to stay in such a dead zone.

With his realized speed, he was able to get to the location he wants in just a matter of minutes.

If he has his abilities, he might be able to travel to multiple zones in a matter of days.

The degree of power that he now wields cannot be compared when he was a gold ranker, no wonder the chasm between the two rank is just too big, it was truly a new transformation.

"Scorchy?" In front of him was Scorchy, searching for something.

Hearing her name being called, she turns to him and was startled.

She can’t see his face, it was covered by the special fabric that Chika had sew.

"It’s me, Sean, can you tell me what are you searching for?"

"Master? Master!" Finally realizing what the strange feeling she was sensing, she flies towards him and hugs him tightly.

"I know, I know, I missed you too, in fact, Jasmine want to tell you to get back home to celebrate my return but it seems that she can’t contact you."

Scorchy continues to hug him, burying her face on his body, sensing her emotions, a flash of killing intent appears on his eyes.

With a cold tone, he asks. "Who has wronged you!?"

It was laced with malice, even without aura, the killing intent pervaded in the air.

She shakes her head. "It’s my target, I have been searching for her all of this time but I ad unable to find her."

"Since we have time, why don’t you tell me all about it?"

She nods her head and the two of them walks towards the direction of Zone W.

She was following after him.

She told him all about her adventure, how she defeated anyone that tried to capture her.

How she was uncatchable with her speed, she was happy toying with the enemy.

Then, the unthinkable happened, she was sealed on a rock that seemed to counter her phoenix force.

She was angry and disappointed on herself, she was glad that Jasmine had rescued her but she had never forgotten about this.

She was searching for the one responsible for trapping all of this time, since that person was on Zone Y when they last met, maybe, she was still here, she was hoping for it.

"That’s going to be difficult, if your story is accurate, that woman you’re chasing should be a member of the demon race, she’s not our side of the world at the moment, she’s definitely back on the other side, fighting against the Martial Alliance."

She became disappointed, because of her obsession, she didn’t think of this.

"Don’t worry, once you guys breaks through the Innate Realm and this world no longer needs to suppress me, we’re going to wreak havoc, there’s definitely a chance that we will encounter her again but right now, we should focus protecting our side."

"What do you mean, master? I’m confident that those cowards wouldn’t dare attack our zone." She’s certain of this.

He sighs and shares the current development of the entire zone.

She was shocked and disdainful towards those people from the Core Zone, a large amount of resources was concentrated in one area and yet they were unable to cultivate another Innate.

Not to mention, just the place that they are living on has much denser concentration of spiritual energy, making the training much easier and the potential of their children and their pet beast much higher than those from the other zones.

The only person that managed to reach the Innate Realm without the help of the world’s will was Maki and that’s only because she had Sean’s help!

"I know what you’re feeling, you can say that I’m dumbfounded by their own inadequacy, they even had the gall to ask for our help, we would agree to many of their request but one of the request was to actually send two of your siblings to fight for them."

"Never!"

Sean smiles. "Yes, both Jasmine and I have the same idea as you, hmph! They don’t have any ground to tell us what to do but still, we can’t just sit and do nothing."

Scorchy turns towards him.

"We’re going to loot, kill, and destroy any enemy or base we find, we’re going to split into three groups, attacking three different zones at the same time, in order not to confuse each other’s duty, here is the list of the zones your responsible for."

"Who’s the third one that’s in this mission?"

"Your older sister, she, just like the two of us, is quite mobile and don’t really have any important responsibilities holding us back."

"What if we encounter survivors."

He became silent before sighing. "Just try not to harm them in the process but if it’s too difficult or time-consuming, you have my permission to use lethal force."

Scorchy’s eyes widens in disbelief but she suddenly sees something in her master’s eyes.

Determination and resolve, it seems that he knows what currently is more important, this is the burden of those that are strong, they must choose what’s more important.

"I’ll try my best not to kill all of them."

"Tell them, if they can survive for at least a month in the wild, the rescue team will come get them."

Scorchy nods her head, she can sense that he was feeling so good right now, she doesn’t blame him, she knows just his kind of a person he is.

The two of them splits, Scorchy going to Zone W and he’s beelining towards Zone X.

His speed was still blindingly fast as ever, in order to vent his emotion, he didn’t even try to dodge any obstacle in his path, he bulldozes towards them without stopping.

His path can be seen, carved through destruction.

"I can’t be a god! I must show people how to grow stronger! Not just rely on us, they must also rely on themselves!" He roars in his heart.

Shouldering the burden of protecting his family, the people that believes in him, and their world, the pressure is immense.

It made his fragile heart tougher but also colder, since, he save everyone, he’ll make sure that their enemies are going to receive the same treatment.

Despair, he shall give them the same emotion the survivors caught by them, the despair of the difference between their strength.

Zone X, the entire place is now ruled by undead, multiple of them were roaming around.

Majority of them were made from the corpses of the natives of the place.

Compared to Zone Z, Zone X is filled with swamp, it’s a place that’s full of life but now, it carries nothing but the stench of decay.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Explosions can be heard and felt by those in the zone, they don’t know what’s happening but since the majority of them are newly transformed undead, they don’t feel anything.

"Die! Die! Die!" With blood red eyes, Sean was killing any undead he sees, since they aren’t that strong, he wasn’t really going all out.

It was a disaster of epic proportions, the undead were attracted by his bursting vitality, not knowing they are throwing themselves into a humanoid calamity.

Multiple holes and craters can be seen everywhere, broken trees, ashes, and body parts are all over the place.

After killing so many undead, Sean became confused.

Where are the enemies? He knew that these undead aren’t the invaders.

Still, in order to find the base, he continues his rampage.

The whole day, the entire zone didn’t rest, he didn’t need to work hard to gather all the undead, they gather for him.

"This isn’t working, where are the fxcking targets!?" He curses.

Ignoring the undead approaching him, he bulldozes the remaining undead, finally, after searching throughout the entire night, he found the base.

The general of this place hadn’t received the message from their higher-ups yet.

They are still operating normally, not knowing that Sean has already found them.

He didn’t immediately attack, he doesn’t want to kill any innocent survivors, he will try his best to lower the casualty caused by their destruction.

Without hesitation, he ran towards the base.

BOOM!

Destroying the wall with his abnormal strength, he easily enters the place unhindered.

Looking at the humans that were now kept in cages and prison, fury burns in his eyes.

"Int-" Before the undead can finish what he wants to say, a fist bursts it’s head.

"Today, not one of you are going to survive!"

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The entire base was shaking, no undead were left aside.

The humans were shocked to see one of them crushing so many powerful enemies with ease.

The battle lasted until near noon, looking at the broken base, the humans were too shocked to say anything.

"You guys are now saved but if you want to survive, you should travel towards Zone Z, don’t worry about facing any wild mystique creatures, due to the wanton killing of these invaders, no living being exist in Zone Y."

"Can you lead us there." One of them asks, eyes full of hope.

"No! My mission is to attack all the base of these filthy undead that they built on our world, if you want salvation, you must claim it in your hands!" He states coldly.

Before they can react, he left, leaving only a mountain of food in front of a certain man.

There’s a letter in front of him.

[I deem you the strongest person amongst this group, eat and recover, lead them to Zone Z, if every single one of them survive, I shall help you recover and regain some of your power.]

The man was stunned, he was this zone’s elite, a gold ranker, he might not be an elite amongst his rank but he was still one of the strongest force.

He was shaken after reading the letter, he was drowning in sorrow but this letter gave him hope.

Without hesitation, he starts stuffing himself, seeing this, everyone surges towards the mountain of food, just as everyone was eating, one of the men smacks one of the young girls and steals her food.

BAM!

What greeted him was a fist, it was the man chosen by Sean.

"Everyone, listen up! Have a hearty meal, recover as much strength as you can, that man has appointed me as the person that’s going to lead all of you to our salvation, if anyone dares to cross the line, you are going to answer to me!"

"What makes you the leader!?" One of the men shouts in rage.

"Strength! My power outstrips all of you!" He glares at them and his killing intent explodes.

They quieted down, they don’t want to mess with him, seeing them finally calming down, he resumes eating, traveling through different zones is going to be long.

*****

"This is Sean’s Shadow, is anyone there?" His radio seems to be malfunctioning but he still decided to report his situation.

"I’m currently resting in Zone X after annihilating every undead in the zone, I request for adventurers or soldiers to send some unit in this zone, I found survivors, due to the wanton killing of the creatures from this zone, their numbers aren’t great, only about a hundred thousand or so."

For an entire zone, basically larger than some counties in his former world, such number is truly heartbreaking.

The people they rescued on Zone Y numbered at least a million and yet there are only a hundred thousand survivors left on Zone X.

"This is Sean’s Shadow, over and out." He decided to rest for three hours before continuing his journey towards another zone.

Unlike before, he can’t use Supreme Cultivation Technique to replenish his energy and prevent his hunger.
