Beg Me Like You Mean It, Captain

Chapter 110: I hit Reid

Instead of backing off, Reid let out a low, dark chuckle that vibrated against me again.

He didn’t mind the hand in his hair at all; if anything, the grip only seemed to spur him on. He held my hips firmer, his thumbs digging into my skin to anchor me, and sucked me in even deeper, his throat swallowing down my dick to show me exactly who was in control of my release.

The sudden, deep pull of his throat shattered the last of my restraint.

A sharp, broken gasp ripped from my throat as my hips arched off the floor entirely. I couldn’t stop it. The heat exploded, a blinding, heavy rush of pleasure that poured straight out of me, filling his mouth before I could even try to pull away.

My fingers clamped tight in his blonde hair, holding him against me as my body spasmed with the force of the ejaculation.

Every muscle in my legs went completely rigid, my toes curling against the floorboards as the intense, throbbing waves completely blanked out my mind. The explicit audio from the television, the penthouse, my plans for Monday morning—everything vanished into a white, suffocating haze.

Reid didn’t flinch. Even as the hot rush of semen flooded his throat, his hands remained fixed on my hips, holding me steady through the worst of the tremors.

He took every bit of it, his throat swallowing down the heat with a slow, deliberate rhythm that felt completely shameless.

When the tension finally started to bleed out of my muscles, my hands slipped weakly from his hair, dropping uselessly onto the floor.

I let out a long, shuddering breath, staring up at the ceiling with wide, unfocused eyes. My chest heaved, my skin slick with a thin coat of sweat, completely spent.

Slowly, Reid pulled back.

The wet, sliding sound of his mouth leaving my dick felt incredibly loud in the room. I didn’t want to look at him, but I couldn’t help it. My head rolled to the side.

He was still on his knees between my legs, his broad chest rising and falling with a heavy, steady breath.

A thin line of saliva and semen trailed from his lips, and he casually swiped it away with the back of his hand, his grey eyes locked onto mine with a dark, terrifyingly satisfied glint.

The lazy, cocky smirk was completely gone, replaced by a quiet, possessive intensity that made my stomach twist.

"See, Cap?" he whispered, his voice incredibly deep and rough as he leaned forward, crowding back into my space. "I told you it was a good distraction."

The words hit me like a bucket of ice water, instantly freezing the post-climax haze right out of my veins.

A sudden, violent wave of humiliation and fury rushed up from my chest. I felt completely torn apart, exposed, and degraded on the floor while he looked at me like a prized catch. Before I could even think, my body reacted on pure, raw instinct.

I swung my fist.

Crack.

The punch connected cleanly across his jaw, the force of it throwing his head to the side. The impact sent a sharp jolt up my arm, but I didn’t care.

Reid froze, his face turned away, his blonde hair falling over his eyes.

For a second, the room was dead silent. When he slowly turned his head back to look at me, I could see his pupils had dilated in absolute shock.

The Alpha who had just spent the last ten minutes systematically breaking me down was completely gone, replaced by a stunned kid who hadn’t seen it coming.

I didn’t apologize. I didn’t feel a single shred of regret.

I scrambled backward, pushing myself up from the floor with trembling limbs. My breath came in ragged, uneven hitches, and my eyes burned, blurring my vision with angry, hot tears.

My shoulders shook uncontrollably as I yanked my sweatpants back up, my fingers fumbling with the elastic.

"I told you to stop," I sobbed, the sound tearing out of my throat, raw and broken. "Reid... You’re such a bastard."

Reid reached a hand out toward me, his fingers twitching as if to grab my ankle, his mouth opening to say something—but before any word would come out, I turned on my heel, ignoring the weakness in my knees, and bolted down the hallway.

I slammed the guest room door shut behind me and twisted the lock, the heavy click of the deadbolt echoing like a gunshot in the quiet apartment.

I leaned my back against the hard wood of the door, my chest heaving as I slid down until my knees hit the floor.

The coldness of the room seeped through my clothes, but it did nothing to cool the chaotic heat still burning beneath my skin. I buried my face in my hands, a jagged, pathetic sob escaping my throat.

I... should’ve done this from the start.

The realization was a bitter pill to swallow, cutting deeper than the humiliation of what had just happened on the living room floor.

I had spent days trying to convince myself that I was the one in control, that I was just playing along until he was all better just for the scoreboard, telling myself that it was to keep his mouth shut about my secret, and that when Monday came, I could finally walk away and create a reasonable distance between us.

But the truth was terrifyingly clear now.

I was to blame for being weak-hearted. I was to blame for letting my guard down, for letting his pheromones and his touch cloud my judgment every single time, and worst of all... for falling for him.

Dependency or not, it’s still a fact that there are growing feelings and that contributes even worse to the dependency in my biology.

Outside the door, the heavy, rhythmic thud of uneven footsteps echoed down the hallway, stopping just on the other side of the wood and I flinched.

The presence of his Pheromones was thick, pressing against the boundaries of the locked door, demanding and desperate all at once.

"Evans," Reid’s voice came through the wood, rough and strained, stripped of all the cocky assurance he had carried minutes ago. "Evans, open the door. Let me in."

I pressed my palms flat against the floorboards, my body instinctively trembling at the sound of his voice.

My mind flashed back to the dilated shock in his eyes when my fist connected with his jaw, a reminder that I could still hurt him, but it offered no comfort at all.

"Evans," he called again. "Kain," I flinched, my back pressing harder into the solid wood of the door, my heart seizing up in my chest.

He almost never used my first name. Hearing it now, spoken with that raw, ragged edge, stripped away the last of the distance I was trying so hard to rebuild.

But...

"Go away, McCoy," I choked out, my voice cracking on his surname, trying desperately to force some of that cold authority back into my tone. "I don’t want to see you right now."
