Chapter 115: Kang Mi So

Recently, Kang Ian has been constantly tormented by sudden bouts of drowsiness.

Before, when he couldn’t sleep, Kang Ian thought that was the most terrible torture, but now when he merely closes his eyes and is dragged into an endless nightmare, he finally understands that he is only falling into a new loop.

Sometimes while handling work, he suddenly collapses onto the desk. Other times, just as he steps out of the meeting room, his consciousness already sinks into a vague darkness. Strange dreams appear one after another, but each time he wakes up, he can’t remember even a tiny fragment of the memories inside the dream.

That feeling makes Kang Ian extremely uncomfortable and angry.

He knows clearly that his dreams must be related to Kei, but the details inside are always blurred, and when he wakes up all that remains is the pain gnawing at his heart.

In a daze, Kang Ian realizes that perhaps he has done something very terrible.

After several days of secretly watching Kei, Kang Ian’s mood becomes even worse with no way to resolve it.

Kang Ian wants to get close to Kei, but he doesn’t want to frighten Kei, he’s afraid that Kei will feel uncomfortable upon seeing him because of that uncontrollable kiss.

In the end, he decides to enter an SS-rank Dungeon in Dong-San city by himself, one that is giving the Crying Ghost Guild a huge headache due to the disgusting monsters that know how to poison and put hunters into a coma.

That is Kang Ian’s way of using combat to soothe his uncomfortable mood.

At least, beating up the monsters in there will help him calm down.

After several days of killing monsters in the dark cave without a glimpse of sunlight, Kang Ian can no longer suppress the longing for Kei in his chest, he wants to go back and see Kei.

If possible, he wants to hold Kei in his arms, to feel the comfort of being by his side.

But Kang Ian never expected that after returning, the first thing he would see is a person he finds disgusting standing beside Kei.

Kei is happily talking to that beautiful blonde girl, his sparkling eyes seem to be glowing, completely an expression of trusting a close friend.

Even though he has been clinging to Kei all this time, Kei has never smiled at Kang Ian like that, the jealousy and anger are driving him crazy.

And when Kei leaves, Kang Ian sees the face of that damn woman, Kang Ian can no longer hold back!

The atmosphere immediately turns heavy.

A terrifying gravitational force suddenly presses down on Kang Narim’s position. The pavement beneath her feet cracks, fragments of stone are crushed into the ground, hovering in the air.

Yet Kang Narim only smiles tenderly.

A soft halo surrounds her body, blocking all the invisible weight pouring down.

She tilts her head slightly, her voice carrying a provocative tone:

"Long time no see, Guild Master Kang Ian. Why attack as soon as you meet an acquaintance? I haven’t offended you recently, have I?"

Kang Narim speaks very gently as if whispering to an old friend, without a trace of guilt.

Kang Ian looks at her coldly. His platinum eyes hold no warmth at all, icy cold and full of disgust.

"This is what I should be asking you, Kang Mi So. What are you doing here?"

The smile on Kang Narim’s lips... no, she should be called Kang Mi So, becomes even brighter. She gently raises a hand to smooth her blonde hair, then slowly says:

"I just came to this city to rest, to stroll around for a bit and find something interesting. Who knew I’d meet such an interesting guy, so I wanted to be friends with him. That’s all!"

Originally she heard that the Crying Ghost Guild was trying so hard to take over Dong-San city, which sparked Kang Mi So’s interest.

What kind of person Kang Ian is, Kang Mi So understands better than anyone, so she is certain there is something interesting in this city that has just been raised to S-rank danger level.

And sure enough, Kang Mi So found it.

Kang Mi So glances at Kang Ian, her gaze so gentle it makes Kang Ian shudder with discomfort.

The two of them were biological siblings.

One was the guild master of the Crying Ghost Guild, and the other was the guild master of the Angel’s Kiss Guild.

And it seemed their relationship had never really been good.

When Moon So Yeon and Irumi noticed the violent burst of energy and ran over, they could only see two figures flying up into the sky toward the distance. Just by looking, they knew it was the two people they were searching for.

"Kang Mi So!!! Running off again!!? Agh!!!!"

Irumi screamed loudly.

Heaven only knows how crazily she had been searching for Kang Mi So these past few days. Although she could roughly determine that Kang Mi So’s location was somewhere inside Dong-San city, because of Kang Mi So’s damned perception-blocking skill, finding this person was incredibly difficult.

Kang Mi So really loved toying with people!

Moon So Yeon murmured worriedly.

She was one of the few people who knew about the terrible relationship between Kang Mi So and Kang Ian. The two were twins but had a very bad relationship.
