[BL] After SSS-rank mage reborn as the Legendary Craftsman
Chapter 122: The Battle of Two Siblings
Kei had no idea that a major trouble was heading straight toward him.
At this moment, he was just feeling a bit troubled because he suddenly couldn’t contact Kang Mi So. His calls wouldn’t go through, and his messages received no reply.
Even at school, Kei couldn’t see any trace of her.
"Where did she go?"
Kei sat behind the counter of the store, anxiously staring at the darkened phone screen in his hand, wondering if Kang Mi So had run into some kind of trouble.
If Moon So Yeon and Irumi had heard these words, both of them would have immediately corrected his way of thinking.
Kang Mi So wasn’t in trouble. At present, she was the one causing trouble, and it was an incredibly huge trouble.
Not far from Dong-San City, a vast stretch of land had been flattened into complete desolation.
Explosions rang out continuously, one after another like thunder that would never cease. The ground trembled, and dust billowed up to cover the entire sky. Every time a golden beam of light or a dark shadow collided, the remaining boulders were crushed into dust once again.
Moon So Yeon and Irumi sat somewhere far from the battlefield.
Both of them had been watching this scene for three whole days.
At first, they felt tense, then worried, and in the end, only boredom remained.
"Again." Irumi propped her chin on her hand, watching the two figures charging at each other from afar. "How many years have passed, and those two still can’t have a normal conversation?"
Moon So Yeon silently watched the battlefield.
"Maybe they’ve never had a normal conversation with each other."
"That’s true too."
Irumi let out a sigh.
Three days ago, Kang Ian and Kang Mi So had started fighting in this area.
Their initial battlefield was an S-rank Dungeon.
But after enduring countless attacks from two SS-rank hunters, that Dungeon could no longer continue to exist. The walls collapsed, the Dungeon core shattered, the spatial gate was torn into pieces, and both of them were forced out of it.
After that, the battle continued on the ground.
And this land wasn’t much better off. Hills were leveled, tree trunks were uprooted from the ground along with massive boulders that were ground into dust.
No trace remained to show that this place had once been a natural area. It had been flattened by humans using supernatural power.
Amidst that desolate land, Kang Ian and Kang Mi So were still fighting.
Both of them were battered and bruised.
Their bodies were covered with countless wounds, large and small. Blood flowed down from their foreheads and the corners of their mouths, and their sleeves were torn. But neither had any intention of stopping.
They didn’t defend at all. Each of them only focused on finding a way to deliver the most brutal strike to kill the other.
Kang Ian raised one hand.
Heavy gravity immediately pressed down on the land ahead. The air seemed to be compressed into an invisible wall, crushing everything beneath it.
Kang Mi So flapped the wings of light behind her, and her body instantly shot upward. She dodged the gravity field, then spun around and dove down at incredible speed.
Kang Ian tilted his head to avoid her downward kick, but Kang Mi So’s toe grazed his cheek, leaving a long gash.
He didn’t retreat at all.
Kang Ian’s hand grabbed Kang Mi So’s ankle and he smirked.
"Got you."
Gravity erupted, and Kang Mi So’s body was yanked hard down to the ground.
Boom!
The ground cracked into countless fissures.
Kang Ian didn’t give her a chance to get up. He used force to grab the angel wings behind her, then slammed her down onto the ground once more.
"Stay put, you plucked bird!"
"You think I’ll listen to you?"
Kang Mi So sneered coldly.
Kang Ian sat on top of her, his hand gripping Kang Mi So’s shoulder tightly. His fist repeatedly slammed straight down onto that beautiful face.
Thud!
Thud!
Thud!
Each punch made the ground tremble.
Kang Mi So couldn’t dodge. Her face quickly swelled up, blood trickled from the corner of her mouth, but she still smiled defiantly.
After the next punch, Kang Mi So turned her head and spat a mouthful of spit mixed with blood onto Kang Ian’s face.
"How’s that?"She looked at him with transparent golden eyes full of provocation.
"Even a pretty face like this, you’re willing to throw a punch at?"
Kang Ian’s fist stopped midair. In that moment, his face grew even darker, with an expression of disgust and revulsion.
"Beaten to a pulp like a dog and you can still talk?"
"Not just talk." Kang Mi So smirked. "I can also disgust my dear brother to death."
A blinding light immediately burst from her body.
Kang Ian was flung backward. He rolled several times on the ground, his hand plunging deep into the dirt and rocks to stop himself.
Kang Mi So propped herself up with one hand.
The angel wings on her back were torn and tattered, a few strands of luminous feathers dissolving into the air. But the smile on her face remained unchanged.
Kang Ian slowly stood up.
His cold platinum eyes stared straight at her.
"Three days now, and you still haven’t tired yourself to death? What a waste of time!"
Kang Mi So laughed heartily.
"You’re the one dragging this out, even someone as beautiful as me, and there are people willing to hit my face!"
"You’re the one who showed up in front of me. Because you’re too disgusting!"
Kang Mi So tilted her head and blew Kang Ian a kiss.
"Brother, how many years has it been and you still haven’t learned to speak politely? No wonder that cute guy likes me more than you, you talk so stupidly!"
The air around them instantly froze, Kang Ian looked at Kang Mi So, his already gloomy expression growing even colder.
Moon So Yeon and Irumi in the distance simultaneously fell silent.
