Chapter 91: Spending a Night Sleeping Together with the Black Dragon

After hearing the entire story Do Ae Young told, all three of them fell silent for a long while.

Kim Sora was the first to stand up. She pulled Do Ae Young’s hand and flashed a bright smile as if she hadn’t just heard a story about a dragon a thousand meters tall leveling an entire city.

"Alright, let’s save the scary stuff for later. You should eat first."

"But..."

"No buts about it. I’ve already finished cooking dinner, so Ae Young noona, come eat with us."

Do Ae Young was dragged to the dining table by Sora while still in a daze. Kei also sat down beside the two of them. On the table were simple but steaming-hot dishes, and the aroma quickly filled the store and pushed back the heavy atmosphere from earlier.

However, they hadn’t been eating for long when the sound of dragging footsteps came from outside.

Kei looked up.

Kai appeared at the kitchen door with his messy black hair. He had just woken up, his yellow pupils still drowsy, and the thin blanket Kei had draped over him was still on his shoulders.

He looked around, then immediately walked over to Kei’s side.

"Kei..."

"You’re awake?"

"Mm." Kai pulled a chair and sat close beside Kei. "I want to eat too."

Kei picked up a bowl and glanced at him.

"Then eat by yourself."

"No."

Kai answered very firmly.

"I want Kei to feed me."

The chopsticks in Do Ae Young’s hand froze mid-air. She stared wide-eyed at Kai, screaming internally about whether this dragon even knew how to spell the word "shame"!!!!!

Kim Sora blinked, then immediately stood up.

"Let me get more food."

"No need, he can eat my portion."

Kei said awkwardly, reaching toward Sora.

"No." Kai wrapped his arms around Kei’s arm, warily eyeing the rice bowl in front of him. "Kei has to eat his own portion. I’ll eat a different portion, I won’t let Kei go hungry!"

Kei massaged his forehead lightly. This dragon seemed even more troublesome after waking up than before.

In the end, he still sighed, accepted the bowl Sora handed over, then gently patted Kai’s hand and said:

"Open your mouth."

Kai immediately sat up straight.

Kei picked up a piece of meat and brought it to his mouth. Kai happily opened his mouth to eat, his golden eyes lighting up instantly.

"Then eat by yourself."

"But it tastes better when Kei feeds me."

Do Ae Young, sitting across from them, slowly chewed a piece of vegetable but felt like she was chewing wax.

Kai ate very obediently, but every few bites he would find a reason to touch Kei. Sometimes he grabbed the boy’s wrist to "help steady the chopsticks," sometimes he leaned his head on Kei’s shoulder because he was "still sleepy," and he even deliberately brushed his forehead against Kei’s cheek after every bite he was fed.

"Can you sit still for a moment?" Kei asked with sheer helplessness.

"I am sitting still."

"You’re hugging my waist, and your other hand keeps wandering around everywhere!"

Kai stared at Kei with a pitiful expression.

"Because I’m scared I’ll fall off the chair, I’m still very tired right now."

Kei didn’t know what more to say about this black dragon’s bizarre way of acting spoiled.

"You’re sitting on a chair, how could you possibly fall?"

"Chairs can betray me too."

Kei looked at him with an utterly incomprehensible gaze.

Do Ae Young picked up another bite of rice, put it in her mouth, and swallowed it reluctantly. Watching the scene before her, only one thought remained in her mind.

She had to get Kai back quickly.

If he stayed here, Kei’s work would be affected. Kei’s life would be affected too. More importantly, Kei himself didn’t even seem to realize how serious this was.

"Kai, once you’re done eating, we’re going back."

"No."

If she could become Kei’s pet, nothing would be better than that.

Do Ae Young was at a loss for words.

She turned to look at Kei, hoping he might say something. But Kei was just frowning, trying to feed a piece of meat into Kai’s mouth without letting him accidentally bite his fingers.

"You can’t just stay here forever." Kei said seriously.

"We can... We can sleep on the floor if there’s no bed."

"That’s not the issue!"

"Then we’ll sleep on the sofa."

Kei frowned.

"That’s not it either! You need to go back with Do Ae Young!"

Kai lowered his eyes, and his expression immediately turned pitiful.

"Does Kei want to chase me away?"

Kei froze.

Do Ae Young saw that expression and knew right away it was over. Kai could charge into a raging Dungeon alone, could transform into a dragon a thousand meters tall, but when standing before Kei, he used the most terrifying weapon in the world.
