Chapter 347 - 345: Debut Group Name

The vocal group’s performance of White Chamomile ended with many had tears on their faces. It felt very memorable and completely touched their hearts especially after ’Qin An’ appeared.

As the stage went dim again, it was unknown who started but the audience started to chant the young man’s name again and again.

"Qin An!"

"Qin An!"

"Qin An!"

It was repeated but the voices didn’t seem to grow tired and restless. It feels like only by shouting his name can make the ache on their hearts ease even just for a little.

After the audience calmed down, Jiang Su appeared on the stage again. Still with a comforting smile on his face, they proceed to the next set of competition.

"Tonight, before the time of announcing the seven members who’ll debut tonight, we will now reveal the name of the group for the first time."

Name?! That’s right! Everyone was so focused on what’s happening around that they forgot about this matter. Now that it will finally be revealed, they couldn’t wait to hear it!

"This name was carefully and especially created to form a name that means an endless connection not just for the idols and their fans but for their endless dreams and bright future." Jiang Su explained the name with a light tone and a little bit of excitement.

Above him, tiny dust-like lights floated in the air and slowly formed a name.

ENLES

"Please welcome the birth of this new debut group— ENLES!"

"ENLES?!" On the backstage, the nine trainees also heard the announcement and the excitement after listening was now all over their head.

Finally, after waiting for a long time, they heard the name.

ENLES that means the endless connection between them, indeed a great name that’s extremely suitable for how they want to connect with the world through their dreams on stage.

It even sounds as endless yet they specifically delete the letter ’d’ to remove any possibility of an end, and the letter ’s’ for the word less. Which means that starting from the moment they’ll officially be named, they will have an endless future too.

There were smiles on everyone’s face as they kept on repeating that name inside their heart.

A name that will be forever tied beside them.

After the official announcement of the name, the next set finally begins. One by one, the trainees will have a one minute performance showcasing their own creativity and full capabilities to be truly crowned tonight.

The performance begins with Sheng Yan. The young man stood in the middle of the stage and looked at everyone with tenderness in his eyes. His voice was still the same, gentle and soothing just like how he was when the first audition happened. Even though he doesn’t have the same advantage as everyone, he still stood out because of his sincerity to be on the stage.

"Do you believe in fate?

I do as I want to meet you for every lifetime that I have

Hear the beating on my heart

Feel the warmth of my love..."

Sheng Yan didn’t know if he could debut tonight and he didn’t want to spend his time thinking about doubt and uncertainties so he wanted this last performance to convey the message that he always wanted to for the fans that keep on supporting him no matter what.

He remembered the time when everyone turned their back on him and he was devastated alone. Sheng Yan wanted to give up but Teacher Pei decided to leave first. Afterwards, hearing of his death made him mourn and grieve. He fell in doubt and confusion to his own identity.

Is he also a murderer because he’s part of the Sheng family? Does their fault lie on him too? Does he still deserve this stage? At that time, he no longer fears what future welcomes him but how this broke the memories that he created for other people.

Sheng Yan is just an ordinary person and he felt like he cannot do great things, even so he still wanted to remain in everyone’s memories forever.

"I will always remember you

All the smiles and every love will stay with me

So please do remember me, my light..."

Even if he fails tonight, it’s really okay for him. He just hopes that all his sincerity was conveyed to them and the memories will remain beautiful.

....

The next one is Shen Lou. For this, he didn’t choose to have a complete set but also prepared a dance performance for everyone.

And as he began his last stage, Shen Lou heard everyone’s cheers and shouted for his name and only felt like this stage was something that he will never forget for the rest of his life. This is the moment where he believes that a new Chapter will open for his life.

There are too many beautiful memories that he cherished after entering this competition. He still remembered the first audition. Admittedly, he was proud. He knew that he started ahead from everyone because he had strong resources. Even if the family was reluctant at first to his decision, they supported him.

They found every best person possible to teach him, which made him grow faster. He learned fast and had confidence because he had the advantage that no one had.

That made him feel like he could just do whatever he wanted to do. Until he was easily brought by the reality when he became the leader for the first group performance. No one agreed to him. They were not convinced.

His ego was indeed hurt but fortunately he also learned a lesson which helped him grow again. But that time, it was no longer just his skill but also his heart.

Shen Lou learned to change for himself and to be a better member inside a group.

For this, he was really grateful for everyone. And of course to a certain someone that made him discover something.

Qin An helped him heal the past that he had forcefully forgotten and welcomed him to a new discovery that made him feel like he has more worth.

Thus in this final stage, he dedicates it not just for himself but also for a friend. For Qin An who didn’t let him stop this dream. For him who wanted him to be on this stage.

I only hope that you could just be on this stage too and hear this scream.

Hopefully, they will perform together on the stage again.
