He quickly looked at what they were and was shocked by the Bloodfield family’s generosity. He saw more than five thousand blood stones. Those blood stones can be said to be true currency of this world and can be universally traded in any corner of the world.

The blood stones contained a mysterious blood energy that can be directly absorbed by the Bloodline Awakeners of almost all ranks to quickly increase their blood energy and strengthen their bloodline.

Blood stones are very valuable and cost more than a hundred silver outside because they aren’t easy to find and are mostly used by Bloodline Awakeners to improve their strength. Only the nobles, through their connection, might be able to get some blood stones.

But now he had just received five thousand blood stones; even if it was possible to buy them with silver coins, it would cost more than 500,000. Even the total wealth of the most noble clans in the Flameheart would be this much.

Along with the blood stones, he saw many rare herbs and resources that he didn’t know and needed to slowly learn about. Instead, he then focused on the second item on the tray, the wrist guard, which seemed ordinary.

Seeing his puzzled expression, Nessa, who had been standing beside him, finally spoke.

"Master, that’s a weight guard."

Max looked at her in confusion.

"A Weight Guard? What does it do?"

"Master, it is a special item that says to change its weight according to the Bloodline awaker level, and I heard it seems to be used in training." Nessa quickly answered.

Hearing this, Max was slightly surprised.

He had initially thought the item would be some kind of precious treasure, but it turned out to be nothing more than a weight.

He couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed.

Still, he soon reconsidered. If the Bloodfield Family had specifically sent it to him alongside such a generous supply of resources, there had to be a reason.

He then carefully looked at the weight guard and then tried to wear it to see what it could do.

Clang!

Boom!

"What!"

The moment he wore them, he felt his strength drain rapidly, and the weight of the wrist guards increased rapidly.

20kg... 50kg... 100kg

And finally, it reached 500 kg.

Max’s knees nearly buckled under the sudden weight. Each wrist guard weighed half a ton!

It was as though someone had suddenly placed an entire ton of weight across his two arms. But that wasn’t it; it felt like his blood energy was constantly being absorbed by it.

He felt weaker and weaker and couldn’t curse what the hell it was. If this thing continued to absorb his blood energy, he would die.

But then suddenly it stopped absorbing his blood energy and seemed to release more potent and pure blood energy within him. And immediately the pure blood energy seems to purify his blood.

His weakness disappeared, and he seemed to feel his strength improve and even felt his blood essence become stronger. But the weight of the wrist also seemed to have increased, although it was a very small increase.

He was surprised, but as expected, this wrist guard wasn’t just a weight training tool.

It is still absorbing his blood energy, but it was at a very slow rate and then a moment later releasing the purified energy in a steady cycle. It was clearly an extraordinary item that steadily increased his strength and foundation every minute.

Max quickly calmed down, and then Nessa and the other maids left him alone. He sat down and then took out a blood stone.

With the wrist guards continuously absorbing and refining his blood energy, he could now use Blood Stones to accelerate his cultivation without worrying too much about an unstable foundation.

If he could maintain a proper balance between absorbing new blood energy and purifying what he already possessed, he might be able to create a continuous cycle of improvement.

With that in mind, he quickly started to refine the blood stones’ energy. To absorb them was simple; he just had to hold them and slowly and steadily absorb the blood energy within them.

Boom!

The moment he tried, he was like a vast dragon and drew the blood energy within the blood stones. His rate of absorption was very fast, and the blood within started to boil, feeling the large incoming energy.

Even the power of the Divine artifact seemed a bit agitated, as it also seemed to be slowly absorbing this energy.

He absorbed it like nothing, and in an hour he absorbed all the energy within the blood stone.

What Max didn’t realise was just how terrifying his refining speed actually was.

For an ordinary Bloodline Awakener, a single Blood Stone could provide enough energy for more than a week of cultivation. Even an S-rank Bloodline Awakener at the Blood Awakener realm would generally need a day or two to absorb one completely.

Yet Max had drained an entire Blood Stone in just one hour!

Moreover, he felt perfectly fine. There was no discomfort or sign of instability in his bloodline. If anything, he felt as though he could absorb even more.

And he even started to move on to the next blood stone.

He didn’t know anything; as for him, what matters is he can improve his strength quickly. He didn’t care about anything and stayed awake refining the blood stones. He refined nine more blood stones all night and only stopped the next early morning.

Boom!

Max punched, and its power and speed seemed completely different, as he seemed to have reached the peak of the early blood awakener realm.

He had now completely established his strength and had improved it further. He was at least 50% stronger than before; whether it was his physical strength, speed, or even the amount of blood within him, it has increased quite a lot.

He now should be able to train harder and should be able to use the first move of dragon slaying with more ease.

Now that his strength has increased, he quickly wanted to train from the early morning, as even though he didn’t sleep, he felt more energetic than ever.
