“I thought you wanted me to build a playboy reputation.”

“Fufu, we were only joking.” Ryuko commented cheerfully. Tomoko nodded and added with a happy smile.

“If anyone happens to see you at this clinic, a huge scandal will break out, and Momo's career will be affected.”

“I'm sure Momo wouldn't care.”

Kai took Tomoko's hand and commented in a serious tone. Tomoko squeezed Kai's hand and touched her stomach with the other before responding with a genuinely happy smile.

“I know. But I want you to marry Momo, and I want her to be a great hero without any setbacks. I want this baby to bring only happiness and love; I don't want it to be the source of problems. Our child is the fruit of love, and love can only bring happiness.”

“You're wonderful…” Kai commented with a moved smile, then leaned in and gave the happy Tomoko a tender kiss while Shino and Ryuko dried their watery eyes.

But before either of them could read it, Tomoko turned around and clung to Kai with all her strength, whispering as tears of happiness fell down her face.

“We're going to be parents, Kai… We're going to have a baby.”

Upon hearing Tomoko, Shino and Ryuko embraced Kai and their lifelong friend and began to cry as they murmured in tearful voices in unison.

“Congratulations…”

“Looks like someone doesn't have much faith in me or in Sage…” Kai hugged his tearful girlfriends' back before commenting in a playful voice. Shino replied through tears.

“We do trust you…”

“It's just that the paper makes it official…” Ryuko added, likewise in a broken voice. Tomoko, her face completely stained with tears, whispered in a voice full of infinite feelings, among which happiness and pride stood out.
