The Elder Yan of the Flame Nether Sect and the Palace Lord of the Northern Desolation Hall both looked ashen. If the Demon Emperor broke through, they would be the first to perish.

"We should never have agreed to this plan," the Elder Yan muttered bitterly. "It was enough to drive the Fiend Clans out—we didn't need to provoke a Heavenly Demon Emperor!"

"Even Immortal Grade Heavenly Sovereigns are nothing compared to that monster," the Palace Lord replied, despair creeping into his tone. "He's equivalent to a Saint Grade existence. We can't win."

Within the storm, fire blazed skyward. On Liu Xi's Azure Lotus Celestial Body, black and azure flames intertwined—one dark and vile, one pure and fierce.

The black flame exuded an aura of destruction, a demonic fire capable of reducing all life to ash. As it coursed along the Celestial Body, it ravaged everything in its path. Were it not for the counterbalance of the azure fire, the enhanced Infernal Demon Flame would have devoured him already.

But within that destruction, the Azure Lotus Celestial Body absorbed and merged with Chaotic Spiritual Energy, its strength, speed, resilience, and recovery growing visibly with each clash.

Empowered by this surge, Liu Xi met the Flame Heavenly Demon Emperor head-on, while Qin Tian struck from the side in perfect coordination. Though the two were merely Immortal Grade, their combined strength kept them locked in an even battle.

Their teamwork, though new, was surprisingly seamless—Qin Tian's stellar Spiritual Energy perfectly complemented Liu Xi's azure flame.

The Flame Heavenly Demon Emperor, however, found himself in an awkward position. Surrounded by countless Fiend Clan troops watching from behind, he could not afford retreat—yet even after prolonged combat, he had failed to crush his opponents.

The longer the fight dragged on, the worse it became for him.

His crimson eyes burned with fury. He could not fathom how his Infernal Demon Flame, refined to perfection and strengthened by his divine technique Demon Flame Annihilating the Heavens, still couldn't overpower Liu Xi.

He recalled the day he had once unleashed this fire to obliterate an entire lower realm—its lifeforms erased in seconds beneath his flames.

And now… he couldn't even kill one Immortal Grade Heavenly Sovereign.

It was infuriating. Humiliating.

"Demon Flame Inferno!"

The Flame Heavenly Demon Emperor roared. Black fire erupted from his titanic body, swirling into a colossal vortex that spread across the heavens.

"Spatial Banishment!"

Qin Tian's eyes flickered with understanding. "Got it!"

Both men acted at once.

Liu Xi's hands formed seals, drawing in endless Spiritual Energy, which gathered into his azure flames and expanded without limit. In the blink of an eye, a vast sea of fire filled the heavens.

"Demonic Flame World Destruction!"

At the same time, Qin Tian's Heavenly Wheel Demon Slayer Body spun its golden wheel with blinding speed. Spirals of razor-sharp energy condensed and wrapped around it.

"Heavenly Wheel Demon Slayer!"

As the demonic inferno descended upon him, Qin Tian hurled the spinning golden wheel—it vanished into the void.

A heartbeat later, the inferno engulfed him. The Heavenly Wheel Demon Slayer Body flared with radiant starlight, but the black flames devoured it instantly. The towering golden figure was swallowed whole.

Whether Qin Tian still lived was unknown.

Meanwhile, the golden wheel tore through the void, emerging before the Flame Heavenly Demon Emperor.

He laughed scornfully, reaching out with one massive hand. The wheel's cutting force struck his palm, but failed to even scratch it—proof of the Demon Emperor's unbreakable flesh.

Yet behind him, a spatial rift had opened—a long, narrow wound in the sky, widening under the wheel's relentless spin until it stretched for miles.

A scar across the heavens.

And then—

From above, torrents of azure flame descended like a divine waterfall, crashing down in the shape of a colossal dragon-serpent.

In the reflection of his shrinking pupils, the Flame Heavenly Demon Emperor saw it coming, moments before it struck.

"Ha! Is that all? You think two mere Immortal Grade insects can defeat a Heavenly Demon Emperor?!"

Despite the searing pain wracking his body, he laughed madly, refusing to yield.

Liu Xi's lips curled into a faint smile. "Next time we meet, I'll kill you."

"What—?" The Demon Emperor froze.

Then the azure dragon-serpent erupted with terrifying force, slamming into him with unstoppable might. Caught off guard, the Flame Heavenly Demon Emperor was hurled backward—straight into the spatial rift.

For such a being, shattered space alone could not kill him.

But once lost within the endless void, even a Heavenly Demon Emperor might never find his way back.
