Shen Xing opened the Territory Interface and checked the member levels.

Fried Chicken was still Level 7 and would probably need another three or four days to reach Level 9.

Hei had gone up one level, but was still only Level 6. It would take another five or six days to reach Level 9.

Shen Xing closed the Territory Interface and went to the northern part of the territory.

On the city wall, a tall figure stood quietly, gazing at the churning Fog in the distance.

A gentle breeze swept past, rustling her fiery hair.

Sensing the movement behind her, Reina snapped out of her thoughts and leaped lightly from the city wall.

"May you be well, Lord." She placed a hand over her collar and gave a slight bow.

Shen Xing gave a slight nod and asked, "So, are you settling in alright?"

"It’s fine, thank you for your hospitality."

Reina’s tone was even, and her bearing was dignified, giving her a unique yet distant air.

After a moment, she asked tentatively, "Is there something you need from me?"

"There is, but not right now."

Leaning back in his wheelchair, Shen Xing asked calmly, "But before that, I’d like to ask you a question."

Reina looked up. "Go ahead."

"I’m a bit curious. Why didn’t your previous Lord invest in you, or help you become Extraordinary?"

’No matter how stupid that Gideon was, he couldn’t have been foolish enough to ignore a powerful Hero and train that Werewolf instead.’

’Besides, with his resources, buying a Flame Mage Manual wouldn’t have been a problem at all.’

’So there had to be more to the story.’

Reina pressed her lips together, remaining silent for a long moment.

Then, as if she had made up her mind, she spoke slowly. "Because... I wasn’t willing to help him fight other Lords."

"No Fire Magic?" Shen Xing asked, confused. "Why?"

A bitter smile touched Reina’s lips as she shook her head, apparently unwilling to explain further.

"Is there something physically wrong? Or does using this power cause you some kind of adverse effect?" Shen Xing asked again.

"No..." Reina shook her head gently. "I once swore an oath to never again use this sinful flame."

"If you can’t accept that, you can banish me from the territory."

Shen Xing fell silent. He knew he wouldn’t be able to change her mind.

Then, he took an item from his inventory and tossed it to her.

Reina instinctively caught it.

When she got a clear look at the item in her hand, she froze.

"Even if you give me such a precious advancement item, I will not break my vow." Reina looked up at the man in the wheelchair, her voice trembling yet firm.

"Do as you please," Shen Xing replied casually. "As long as you do your job, the rest doesn’t matter."

’Are you kidding me? He wasn’t about to banish such a powerful Hero.’

He then went to the village entrance on the territory’s west side, the place where Hellish Roar usually spent his time.

He opened the Talent Interface and started to complete his daily task.
