Chapter 251: Chapter 156: Hellish Roar Evolves Again: Doomsday Judge

A little over ten minutes later, Shen Xing emerged from the Food Processing Plant in his wheelchair, looking utterly drained.

His face was deathly pale, his shoulders were slumped, and he looked as if he’d lost the will to live.

"I swear, if I ever eat one of Nimue’s mysterious concoctions again, I’m a dog!"

’That ordeal was hell. He’d been inside for over ten minutes, puking his guts out—he nearly threw up everything he ate yesterday.’

’He even had to rinse his mouth with lava several times, scalding it until it was swollen, just to get rid of the disgusting, nauseating sensation.’

’But then again, the girl meant well. The moment she invents something good, I’m the first person she thinks of.’

’Next time she has a new dish, I’ll just call over Blood Roar or Dahou to be the taste-testers.’

’Their Constitution is high, anyway. They can take it.’

Having made up his mind, Shen Xing pushed his wheelchair toward the city gate, ready to see how Hellish Roar’s upgrade had turned out.

Just then, a gruff voice called out from ahead.

"Oh! Lord, you don’t look well at all. It’s like you’ve been drinking Dwarven mushroom soup."

One-Eyed Logan approached with heavy steps, asking curiously, "What happened?"

"Don’t even ask." Shen Xing waved his hand dismissively, clearly not wanting to talk about it.

"Lord, please don’t be sad."

Logan said consolingly, "When you’re feeling down, just think of those Dwarves. Even sitting in your wheelchair, you’re still someone they have to look up to."

Shen Xing was speechless once again. His voice rose. "What the hell did you come here for?!"

"Oh! Don’t be angry, my esteemed Lord."

Logan quickly waved his hands. "I’ve come to tell you some good news. The Hell War Chariots have been built."

"Oh?"

Shen Xing’s interest was piqued, and he pushed the memory of that ghastly meal to the back of his mind. "You lunk. Next time, just get straight to the point. Don’t waste my time with all this other nonsense."

"Take me to see them."

"Yes!"

Logan acknowledged the order, then turned and headed for the territory’s North City District.

A large crowd had already gathered in the open area behind the Blacksmith Shop.

A group of Beastmen and Black Moon Knights stood around, admiring what looked like a priceless treasure and letting out gasps of awe from time to time.

Upon seeing their Lord approach, the crowd automatically parted to create a path, allowing Shen Xing to pass through unimpeded.

As he passed through the crowd and saw the behemoths displayed in the open space, his eyes instantly lit up.

Three massive, dark-red war chariots with a ferocious design were parked there.

They looked like dormant beasts of steel. Each was over ten meters long and more than four meters tall. Their eight heavy wheels alone stood half as tall as a man.

A giant Demon’s head was mounted on the front, its mouth agape, ready to spew pillars of Hellfire and inflict Scorching damage on enemies ahead.

There was also a nozzle at the rear that could spray powerful flames, propelling the chariot forward at high speed and even allowing it to briefly achieve a hovering Effect.

"Awesome!"

Shen Xing exclaimed, thoroughly satisfied with the chariots’ appearance. They perfectly matched his mental image of Hell Technology.

Rugged, massive, and malevolent, they embodied an aesthetic of pure violence.

"Logan, nice work," he praised the Cyclops beside him.

"Aha, thank you for the praise, Lord!" Logan scratched his head with a simple grin, then said with feeling, "This is the most High-Level creation I’ve ever forged. It possesses unparalleled mobility and destructive power."

"It’s just a pity... its effectiveness against Dwarves is limited."

A nearby Beastman instinctively asked, "Why, Logan?"

"Because the chariot’s chassis is too high off the ground."

Everyone: "..."

There was a moment of silence.

Shen Xing sighed in resignation. "Logan, can we start these big toys up now?"

"Of course!" Logan nodded without hesitation. "But this type of chariot is extremely powerful and also quite dangerous. It needs a professional driver."

"Trust me, you don’t want to see our buildings getting knocked down, do you?"

"Drivers, huh?" Shen Xing murmured thoughtfully, then scanned the eager Soldier Types around him. "Alright then. Any of you want to give these chariots a try?"

Hearing this, the Beastmen and Black Moon Knights exchanged glances, and several of them raised their hands.

"Me! I want to try!"

"Me too! I want to drive this thing!"

"Riding horses is for sissies! Real Knights drive war chariots!"

"..."

Shen Xing glanced around and saw that quite a few had volunteered. In addition to a dozen or so Beastmen, two Black Moon Knights were also very interested in the chariots.

After a moment’s thought, he made a decision. "All of you, go give it a try. Whoever drives the best gets to stay and train as a professional driver."

The Soldier Types were overjoyed at his words and cheered, "Long live the boss!"

Then, they opened the great bone doors on the front of the Hell War Chariots and climbed right into the driver’s cabins.

A moment later, the RUMBLE of engines roared to life, making the surrounding ground tremble slightly.

Immediately after, the rears of the chariots violently spewed eerie Green flames, kicking up a startling wave of heat.

The next second, the three steel behemoths shot forward like unchained beasts, charging toward the open area of the Outer City District.

The other Beastmen who hadn’t managed to grab a driver’s seat followed behind, howling with excitement.

Shen Xing was about to send one of his commanders to supervise and handle any emergencies.

Just then, he sensed a powerful aura rising from the South City Gate area—the location of the original village entrance.

’Oh? This aura... has Hellish Roar finished upgrading?’

Filled with anticipation, he quickly pushed his wheelchair to go and see.
