No matter how red in the face Blood Roar became from the effort, there was still no effect. Instead, his distraction nearly got him hacked off his Warg’s back by an enemy axe.

"Blood Roar, catch!"

Shen Xing saw his predicament and pulled a bottle of Dwarven Strong Alcohol from his backpack, tossing it forcefully over.

Blood Roar snatched the bottle out of the air. Without a second thought, he twisted off the cap and chugged the contents.

As the strong alcohol went down his throat, a warm current surged through his body.

"Whoa! It’s hot! I feel like I’m on fire!"

And Blood Roar really was on fire.

He activated his Talent Ability, Burning Blood. His skin turned bright red, and his entire body was enveloped in a layer of burning crimson light.

The next second, Blood Roar activated Wolf Charge and shot toward the Boss Level Naga like a bolt of crimson lightning.

He held his long-hafted axe at an angle and, in the instant he closed the distance, swung it sharply upward.

The Boss Level Naga once again raised its War Axe to block.

"KRAAANG—!"

The dull clang of metal on metal rang out once more.

But this time, Blood Roar’s attack wasn’t blocked. Instead, the War Axe was knocked right out of the Naga’s hands.

With the dual Empowerment of Dwarven Strong Alcohol and Burning Blood, his Power had increased by 50% and his speed by a whopping 60%, allowing him to suppress an enemy far stronger than himself.

"I did it! I did it!"

An excited grin spread across Blood Roar’s face as he seized the opening, bringing his axe down hard on the Naga Combat Puppet’s chest!

The immense force sliced through flesh and sent the enemy flying. It tumbled across the ground several times before skidding to a halt.

Before it could get back up, the Elite Warg beneath him pounced. The Warg’s massive jaws clamped down on its throat as its paws pinned its shoulders to the ground.

"ROAR... ROAR...!"

The Naga Combat Puppet let out an enraged roar. It pushed against the ground with both hands, trying to struggle back to its feet. Its terrifying Power was so immense that even the Warg couldn’t hold it down.

And just then, a long-hafted axe descended with enough force to shatter stone, slamming down viciously on the crown of its head.

"SQUELCH!"

It was like a watermelon splitting open, juices splattering everywhere.

The massive body of the Naga Combat Puppet twitched a few times before collapsing onto the shallows, completely still.

A Level 9 Boss, a being virtually invincible below Tier Two, had been slain by Blood Roar just like that.

"Excellent, excellent! I thought Lu Bu was the epitome of invincibility, but it seems someone here is worthy of his valor!"

Shen Xing nodded in satisfaction. "As expected of my champion!"

On the other side of the battlefield, the second wave of Dark Naga that had come ashore was almost completely annihilated.

Now, the shallows were littered with bodies.

All that remained was the fierce, pale-skinned Naga Priestess, who was barely holding on.

But she was no longer much of a threat.

Against Hellish Roar, who had awakened the Heart of the Strong, the once-even match had turned into a complete rout.

The most severe wound was a diagonal gash running from her left shoulder down past the center of her chest.

It almost turned her symmetrical pair into a lopsided single.

The Naga Priestess knew she was no match for Hellish Roar. She shot him a hateful glare, her eyes filled with bitter resentment.

Then, with a powerful flick of her tail, she sped toward the Black Water River behind her.

But just then, a gust of wind erupted from under Hellish Roar’s feet, and he instantly closed the distance, moving even faster than her.
