Chapter 923: Chapter 329: It’s Time to Exercise Mercedes-Benz Group Shareholder Rights

King of Heaven Liu: "Alright! Then I’ll wait for you here. Drive safe, President Yang."

After hanging up, Yang Chen hurriedly drove to Yida Plaza.

"I’m going to Yida Plaza now to meet King of Heaven Liu and talk about something. I’ll send you back after I finish my business." Yang Chen said.

Zhao Chunxue was instantly dumbfounded and quickly asked, "Bro, what did you just say? Who are you going to meet? King of Heaven Liu? The King of Heaven Liu who acted in ’A Moment of Romance’?"

Yang Chen nodded.

Zhao Chunxue grabbed the front seat excitedly and said, "For real? You know King of Heaven Liu? Who the hell are you actually?"

Yang Chen: "I’m just an ordinary, nothing-special ride-hailing driver."

Zhao Chunxue: "Bullshit! You’ve got a supreme card from Tang Pavilion, and you can talk business with King of Heaven Liu. How could you possibly be just a ’nothing-special’ ride-hailing driver?"

Yang Chen: "If you don’t believe it, then there’s nothing I can do. I really am a ride-hailing driver, and I moonlight as a food delivery guy sometimes. Oh right, the Mercedes auto show on Sunday—do you still want to go be a car model?"

Zhao Chunxue: "Of course I do! But I don’t have a chance anymore. I’m definitely not going to sell my body and soul for some so-called opportunity."

Yang Chen: "Tomorrow Mercedes-Benz Dragon Country Group will contact you directly. Just talk to them."

Zhao Chunxue: "Huh? For real? Bro, you’ve got connections in Mercedes-Benz Dragon Country Group too?"

Yang Chen just smiled without saying anything.

Zhao Chunxue was now sure Yang Chen’s identity was anything but ordinary, and she also understood why her dad wanted her to go after Yang Chen.

"That old bastard is really something, willing to sacrifice his own daughter just to suck up to him." Zhao Chunxue cursed silently in her heart.

Soon, Yang Chen arrived at Yida Plaza and picked up King of Heaven Liu.

Zhao Chunxue excitedly took out a pen and handed it to King of Heaven Liu, saying, "C-c-could you sign something for me? I’ve been watching that ’A Moment of Romance’ you were in recently. My roommates and I have watched it several times. We love that scene where you’re on the motorcycle with the female lead, riding so hard it makes people nosebleed all the way."

King of Heaven Liu burst out laughing and said, "Thank you, thank you."

Then he signed his name on Zhao Chunxue’s white down jacket.

Zhao Chunxue was over the moon and said, "I’m never wearing this again, I’m going to keep it forever."

King of Heaven Liu laughed heartily.

Yang Chen waved his hand and said, "Get out and wait, I need to talk to King of Heaven Liu about something."

Zhao Chunxue froze for a second, then reluctantly let out an "oh," and got out to wait in the biting cold wind.

Yang Chen started talking with King of Heaven Liu about the concert venue.

The two largest indoor venues in Hai City are Jing’an Sports Center and the Mercedes-Benz Cultural Center.

Jing’an Sports Center has been reserved for Hai City TV Station’s official use, so only the Mercedes-Benz Center is available.

King of Heaven Liu quickly said, "We asked the Mercedes-Benz Center, and they said Legendary Entertainment has already booked the 31st and the 1st. Then we contacted Legendary Entertainment too, hoping they’d transfer the night of the 31st to us. We were willing to pay them the full-day fee, but they just wouldn’t agree."

Yang Chen: "It’s fine, I’ll handle this. You just need to tell me if the Mercedes-Benz Center can meet your needs."

King of Heaven Liu: "Yes! It can hold 18,000 people, and with a bit of tweaking, more than 20,000 is no problem. In this market, that scale is good enough."

Yang Chen nodded and said, "Alright then! Just wait for news. I’ll definitely get you this venue. Do you want the 31st or the 1st?"

King of Heaven Liu: "Then I really have to thank President Yang. If possible, I’d like both the 31st and up to 3 a.m. on the 1st. I’ll have the ticketing company send President Yang some VIP tickets. If you’ve got time, you can bring some friends to the show. It’ll count as giving me some face."

Yang Chen: "Sure! That’s easy. Head back, I won’t see you off."

King of Heaven Liu nodded with a smile and shook hands with Yang Chen before leaving.

Zhao Chunxue, who was shivering outside from the cold, quickly got into the car.

"I’m freezing to death, dizzy and cold! Bro, what were you talking about with King of Heaven Liu?" Zhao Chunxue asked.

Yang Chen: "King of Heaven Liu is holding a New Year’s Eve concert, but he ran into a venue problem, so I’m helping him figure something out. Let’s go, I’ll drive you home."

Zhao Chunxue: "Oh. A girl delivers herself to your door and you still don’t want her. I suspect you’ve got a functional issue."

"You little brat, you can’t just throw that around. I told you, your bro’s fish pond is already full. Even if you squeeze your way in, you’ll have to queue. Just wait, when your bro remembers you someday, I’ll flip your card and favor you." Yang Chen said with a grin.

Zhao Chunxue looked all miserable, pouting in clear dissatisfaction.

Very soon, Yang Chen dropped Zhao Chunxue off at the entrance of Tangchen Yipin.

"Tomorrow go to Zhang Sanfeng Law Firm and find Zhang Xiang, have him talk to Legendary Model Company about terminating your contract. When you get back, I’ll give Zhang Xiang a heads-up. Just go straight to him tomorrow." Yang Chen said.

Zhao Chunxue: "No way? Zhang Xiang? That Zhang Xiang with over thirty million followers? You know him too?"

Yang Chen: "If you’re out mixing in this world, how can you not have a lawyer you can show off?"

Zhao Chunxue: "Damn, oppa, you’re kinda badass! No wonder you don’t fancy me, you’re way too unfathomable."

"Hmm? Isn’t ’unfathomable’ supposed to describe you?" Yang Chen said with a smile, then pinched Zhao Chunxue’s chin and said, "You should say your bro is firm and powerful."

Zhao Chunxue’s face instantly turned bright red. She hurriedly opened the door and ran into the compound.

Yang Chen chuckled, made a turn, and headed home.

Back home, Yang Chen called Jin Ming and assigned her three tasks.

First, use the 15% stake that Star Investment holds in the Mercedes-Benz Group to order the operations department of the Mercedes-Benz Center to rent out the venue from midnight on the 31st of this month to 3 a.m. on the 1st of next month to King of Heaven Liu for his concert.
