Chapter 1730: Chapter 840: She Is Forever the Best Leading Actress in My Heart_3

This is everyone’s creative habit, we can only say that Zhou Yun and Hugh Redman’s performance habits happen to fit Tim’s creative habits.

Lily Cruise, however, does not.

Tim did not make adjustments to Lily Cruise’s parts later.

...

After filming, Zhou Yun went to a nearby bar with Hugh Redman and Nakajima Hoto to have a drink.

The main reason was that all three of them shot scenes with significant emotional fluctuations today, and they needed to adjust their mood. If they didn’t have a drink together and talk, going back to the hotel alone without anyone to accompany them would make it hard to step out of that emotional state.

The results of the Berlin Film Festival are out.

"Mortal Realm" won the Jury Grand Prize.

And the Best Actor Award went to a male actor.

Yes, this year they unexpectedly canceled the Best Actress award and combined the Best Actor and Best Actress awards into one Best Actor Award.

This result stunned cinema people all over the world.

Zhou Yun was even more shocked.

Huh?

...

Zhou Yun made a phone call to Ning Yao.

"Sister Ning Yao, are you okay?" Zhou Yun asked, "I just saw the news and I, I... really didn’t expect it to turn out this way this year."

Ning Yao was somewhat disappointed.

This was after all the closest she’d been to an international award. Many people had said that she was very likely to win Best Actress this year, but who knew it would turn out like this.

Ning Yao said, "It’s okay; there will be chances in the future."

"Yes, there will definitely be many more opportunities in the future, Sister Ning Yao," Zhou Yun said, "Don’t be too down."

Ning Yao: "I actually am a bit down. I thought this time I’d finally have a chance. Haha, well, I didn’t expect that I’d be so obsessed with this award."

Zhou Yun: "Everyone feels the same way; who wouldn’t want to win an award?"

Ning Yao responded with a hum.

"Oh, by the way, Xiao Yun, when you return don’t forget to let us know. Let’s get together."

"Okay."

Zhou Yun didn’t know what else to say to Ning Yao and hung up the phone.

This year’s Berlin Film Festival ended amidst widespread debate.

Zhou Yun, though not in the country, saw many people expressing regret for Ning Yao in her social circle.

Zhou Yun thought that seeing those sympathetic voices would likely make Ning Yao feel even more upset.

But if no one expressed regret for her, she would still feel upset.

In any case, it was all upsetting.

Zhou Yun thought that if she were in the same situation, she wouldn’t be much better off, just as depressed, just as upset.

But what Zhou Yun didn’t expect was that there were quite a few people on Weibo mocking Ning Yao, basically implying that Ning Yao had released so many press releases earlier, claiming that this year’s Best Actress was hers, only to end up as a big joke.

Looking at those people mocking Ning Yao, Zhou Yun noticed that many of their IDs and avatars still showed they were her fans, which made her feel uncomfortable.

She even had the urge to ask these fans to stop saying such things.

But Zhou Yun also knew that in this situation, her involvement would only make things worse.

Zhou Yun sighed.

However, she didn’t want her fans to keep mocking Ning Yao.

Perhaps because before she appeared, Ning Yao was recognized as the most talented young actress among her peers, the Movie Queen, their followers constantly clashed over who was the top actress.

Zhou Yun really didn’t want everyone to attack each other over these vain titles.

She was willing to compete with Ning Yao, but not in this manner; it’s unnecessary and unseemly, especially since she and Ning Yao appreciate each other and are friends.

Zhou Yun thought for a bit and ended up posting a Weibo message: She is always the Best Actress in my heart.

She didn’t name Ning Yao specifically, but she felt that anyone would know who "she" was referring to.

Less than five minutes after Zhou Yun posted, Ning Yao sent her a message: What are you doing!

Ning Yao followed up with a voice message: Next time, don’t speak for me. We both know what kind of people we are. Other matters, neither you nor I can control, so let’s not try.

Then another voice message: Xiao Yun, you are also always the Best Actress in my heart.

Zhou Yun laughed.

However, what neither Zhou Yun nor Ning Yao expected was that Zhou Yun’s Weibo post ended up inspiring many actors to follow suit and copy her.

—She is always the Best Actress in my heart.

The voices of these people were forwarded and multiplied across the internet, inexplicably becoming the hot topic over those two days.
