Celestial 'War God' Return
Chapter 522: Discussing Collaboration
Night fell quickly.
Tang Xiao was busy searching for beast cores inside the heads of the beast carcasses, while selecting the ones suitable for consumption.
Once everything was done, Tang Xiao sent them into the Ark, leaving them to Xiao Ai and the others to sort and process them.
When he returned to his group’s rest area, Tang Xiao saw Xuanyuan Wenxuan and Xiao Qingning sorting the herbs they had found throughout the day.
However, they were unable to identify most of the herbs, as they didn’t exist in the Canglan Realm, so they asked Tang Xiao to help classify them one by one. They didn’t know how he recognized each herb and its rank, but they chose to believe him.
"Unfortunately, we don’t have recipes for concocting pills using these herbs." Xuanyuan Wenxuan turned to Tang Xiao. "Do you have them?"
"I do." Everyone turned to Tang Xiao, especially those elders. "Since you’ve agreed to cooperate with me, I’ll give you the recipes after we return from this place, and you can study them before you start concocting the pills."
After all, the old Tang Xiao had lived for so long and explored all realms in the universe. Since he stored them all in Xiao Ai’s database, Tang Xiao could access them whenever they wanted.
Naturally, Tang Xiao would never give everything to Xuanyuan Wenxuan. He would only share common pill recipes with him, which had good effects for cultivators in the Changlan Realm.
Tang Xiao continued. "However, I forbid you from sharing those recipes with your master or people from the Lingdan Pavilion, and we will sell all your concoction pills ourselves."
"Does that mean you will involve the Situ and Taixu Clans in your pill business?"
"Of course!" Tang Xiao replied without the slightest hesitation. "Lingxi is my wife, so the Situ and Taixu Clans are my family. Furthermore, I have no intention of selling my pills in any kingdom other than the Taixu Kingdom, so we should work together with both clans to sell them."
Xuanyuan Wenxuan fell into deep thought after Tang Xiao said that. He couldn’t hide all the pill recipes from his master, and Old Zhang would definitely want to get his hands on them. If he didn’t hand them over to the sect, it would trigger a dispute between them and Tang Xiao.
As Xuanyuan Wenxuan’s fiancée, Zhu Xuan’er naturally understood his hesitation. After all, the Lingdan Pavilion was a gathering place for alchemists from their island, and they also organized the distribution of pills there.
Tang Xiao shook his head slightly. "If you can’t do that, I won’t share the pill recipes with you, and I’ll find other alchemists to collaborate with me. They may not be as skilled as you or the people from the Lingdan Pavilion, but I believe I can help them improve their abilities."
"How about I discuss this matter with my father after we return, brother-in-law?" Tang Xiao said, looking at Taixu Wuxian. "Actually, my father has never interfered with the distribution and sales of the Lingdan Pavilion, but you must remember that he is the king of our kingdom, and they are bound to follow his rules."
Situ Lingxi spoke up immediately. "Although my aunt and uncle hold the Lingdan Pavilion in high regard, the people from the pavilion would never dare to oppose them."
"They are right, Tang Xiao," Taixu Yue chimed in. "Even if the Lingdan Pavilion concocts the pills and distributes them, you are the owner of the recipes. They won’t be able to concoct the pills without the recipes, so you hold the upper hand in this matter, and they have no other choice but to follow your rules."
Situ Yang added. "Since you’re part of our two clans, our king and queen will definitely support you, so you don’t need to be afraid that the people from the Lingdan Pavilion will force you to hand over your recipes to them."
Xuanyuan Wenxuan was speechless when he heard them. Although the Lingdan Pavilion played a vital role in the concoction and distribution of pills in all the kingdoms on their island, their status wasn’t higher than the Taixu and Situ Clans.
Xuanyuan Wenxuan looked at Xuanyuan Yueyao, who had been silent all this time. "What do you think about this matter?"
"Is that a problem?" Xuanyuan Yueyao turned to ask him with a smile. "Tang Xiao is the owner of the recipes, so he has the right to control their distribution, and the Lingdan Pavilion cannot force him to hand over the recipes to them. If your sect master dares to use such lowly tricks, your sect will have to face the Taixu and Situ Clans. Besides, our uncle will not remain silent on this matter, and they should already know the consequences."
Xuanyuan Wenxuan sighed. "Tang Xiao, I will talk to my master and sect master after we go back, and we will decide the next step after I talk to them."
"Alright." Since it was one of his long-term plans, Tang Xiao was in no rush regarding the matter. Moreover, he still had a vast quantity of Spirit Crystals in the treasury vault, and they wouldn’t run out for a long time.
After discussing the matter, they began preparing dinner while taking a rest, especially since many of them had been training from morning until night.
Meanwhile, Xuanyuan Mengli and the other elders did not join them; instead, they stood guard around the area, keeping any beasts that tried to approach them at bay.
While preparing dinner, Tang Xiao discussed with all the wives and their families about their training throughout the day. Even though he monitored them all day, he wanted to hear each of their opinions.
Since their cultivation had already reached the Tyrant Level and there were no beasts or other enemies with a cultivation at that same level—Tang Huang, Zhang Fei, Sun Quan, and Tantai Lingyan encountered no significant resistance during their training.
Even so, they felt the beasts in the space rift were much stronger than those in the Canglan Realm even though their cultivation was at the same level.
Their opinion was corroborated by Tang Yuan, Mu Qingge, and Zhang Xingcai.
Among Tang Yin, Xing Xing, and the others, only Mu Yan experienced the most difficulty in her training. After all, her cultivation was still at the Xiantian Level, and all her opponents were at the King Level and above.
Despite the difficulties, Mu Yan enjoyed her training wholeheartedly, and she wasn’t afraid to face those beasts.
Tian Xiaoqian listened to their conversation with a strange feeling in her heart. She couldn’t understand Tang Yin and the others’ decision to share Tang Xiao with each other, but she could see they had no problem with it, and the relationship between them was surprisingly harmonious.
Tian Xiaoqian glanced at Tang Xiao several times, as she recalled Xuanyuan Yueyao’s words this morning. After watching him search for herbs and fight against beasts, she more or less understood his strengths, but she felt that she still didn’t know him completely.
Xuanyuan Yue noticed Tian Xiaoqian’s actions but said nothing, allowing her best friend to come to a better understanding of Tang Xiao on her own.
Since there were no rivers in the area, they cleansed their bodies using qi after finishing their dinner. Although they weren’t exhausted, most of them decided to rest while cultivating, as the qi within the space rift was far superior to that in their own realm.

*Thud*
Zhang Xingcai, who was enjoying the night scenery from atop a tree branch, turned her head to the side. "Why aren’t you resting?"
"Aren’t you the same as me?" Tang Xiao sat beside her, embraced her, and asked. "What are you thinking about?"
Zhang Xingcai sighed and rested her head on his shoulder. "Ever since we entered this place, some old memories have suddenly resurfaced in my mind."
"What memories?"
"Old memories with my late husband."
Tang Xiao knew Zhang Xingcai was unwilling to accept him because of her feelings for her late husband. He wanted to know more about her past, and he would help her forget those memories. "Please tell me."
"When we were young, we often went on adventures like now." Tang Xiao chose to remain silent and listened to Zhang Xingcai retell the story of her past with her late husband, but he didn’t forget to praise them. "After our daughter was born, we never went on any adventures again and focused on raising her. Unfortunately, my late husband didn’t live long, and he died on his last adventure."
Tang Xiao nodded slightly. "Even though your husband has long since passed away, at least you still have all the memories of the two of you, and he will continue to live on in your heart."
"That’s why I never want to remarry." Zhang Xingcai raised her head and looked at him. "I’m afraid I’ll hurt my second husband’s feelings because I can’t forget my late husband."
"I understand your feelings." Tang Xiao turned sideways, lifted her head, rubbed her cheeks, and looked into her eyes. He slowly brought their faces closer and planted a soft kiss on her soft lips. "If you are willing to accept me, I will never force you to forget your late husband, and you can keep all his memories in your heart forever."
"But that’s not fair to you."
"No." Tang Xiao shook his head. "Did you forget about my status? I already have six wives, remember? If we’re talking about unfairness, I’ve been unfair to them. They deserve husbands who only love them, but they fell in love with me, and they have to share me."
Zhang Xingcai stared at him intensely before letting out a sigh. "Please wait until we return to our residence."
"Alright."
