Joseph Shaw came back three days later.

The last time he contacted James Black, Jillian Carter was just missing and was being searched for.

"She..." Joseph Shaw sat in the car, took a long, long time before speaking, "Where is Jillian now?"

"Funeral home." said James Carter, "She was submerged in water for a long time, and can’t wait much longer before cremation. Luckily, you made it back in time."
