Chapter 462: Chapter 460:Martial Spirit World.

The Martial Spirit World. Of the Galactic Sector A-0000002. Of the High Spirit Planar Galaxies.

It was a powerhouse of a world with multiple other worlds under its control.

Unlike Aetheris, where Durmont was a conqueror to keep his people safe and strong due to the overbearing acts of the Calderans, the Martial Spirit World was different.

They were a world that truly believed in the motto "the strong rule and the weak bow."

Just like Aetheris Prime, the world was one under the rule of the Calderans as well. In fact, the entirety of the High Planar Galaxies was under the rule of the Calderans, and the Martial Spirit World was the ruling force within that group of galactic clusters.

Yes. A galactic cluster. The High Planar Galaxies was a group of literal galaxies pulled together by a powerful force and assembled around each other in the form of a pentagon.

But that wasn’t even what was bothering me. Not at all. Sure, a collection of five galaxies aligned together in the shape of a pentagon was cool and all, but that wasn’t what bothered me, no.

My issue was this:

"Sana, my dear, please tell me again what you just said was the main source of power for those High Planar Galaxies people?" I had to ask one more time because I couldn’t believe this was actually fucking happening.

"I told you to stop calling me your dear!"

"And I told you to stop dreaming. Now just tell me what you said. I think I’m having hearing problems."

"Haaa... look. For the tenth time! The High Planar Galaxies, ruled by the Martial Spirit World, operates on a strict martial spirit-type system."

There it is!

"Fuck..." Like she said, this was the tenth time I’d asked her to repeat those same words, but I still couldn’t fucking believe it.

Martial spirits? Weren’t these a mainstay for fucking cultivation novels? What the fuck?

You don’t understand?

Well, apparently, like usual, the Calderans couldn’t keep their dicks in their pants and went on another offspring-birthing spree, but this time, the Martial Spirit World, or rather, High Martial Continent... just saying those words was cringing me the fuck out already.

But like I was saying, the High Martial Continent of back then had developed a will of her own after having evolved into a high-level world. So, the moment the Calderans tried to use their usual trick of suppressing the bloodlines of the indirect lineage, the planet’s will acted, forcing what was known as Spiritual Qi—yup, you fucking heard me right, Spiritual Fucking Qi—into the bloodline, thereby causing a mutation, and the first user of a martial spirit was born.

His name? Oh, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you.

The fucker’s name was Lin Feng!

"Fuck this shit..." I couldn’t help cussing out loud just thinking about this shit, because this couldn’t be my life right now.

And as if that wasn’t enough, this Lin Feng bastard then went on to conquer the entirety of the High Martial Continent—he and his wives. Yes, wives, whom he had imparted martial spirits unto after he had reached the self-created realm of Dao Martial Emperor, a realm Sana said was equivalent to the Law Sovereign realm.

The man then went on to change the name of the world to the Martial Spirit World, ushering in a new age and era for all the people of the world.

Once that was done, the man took off and went out to other worlds, spreading his will—and by will, I mean seed, of course. Because like a true wuxia protagonist, bro couldn’t keep his dick in his pants until he had children enough to change the geographical look of a world.

It was with this method that the man slowly but surely began gathering more power, until he attained a realm high enough to allow for the ridiculous feat of actually pulling five galaxies together and forming the High Planar Galaxies, with the Martial Spirit World centered as the core of all five galaxies.

According to Sana, the man had since been accepted into the true Caldera family of this universe as a legitimate heir, and the High Planar Galaxies weren’t merely subordinated worlds, but true forces under the Calderans. So her choice for us to go there was because it was the closest connection we could reach that involved the Calderans’ true forces.

Honestly, even after recounting all this, I was still not believing that I was literally on my way to a place that had groups of people I’d been making fun of since I opened my eyes in this new life as Dante, before my awakening.

You’re telling me I was about to go meet some snobby young masters who like to shout, "Courting death!" like it’s all they knew?

About to go to a world where their only form of addressing beauty is "an immortal fairy," "a snow goddess," "a banished immortal?"

"Fuck my life..." For the third time today, I found myself cussing for no reason but sheer absurdity.

"Oii! Bastard! You’ve been swearing all this while. What’s wrong? Is it that time of the month?" Trust Malachi to not give a fuck about whatever was going through my head, as the monkey plopped right down beside me, eyes looking down at my face that was currently being pampered by Elira.

"You’re in such a comfortable position and you dare cuss like you’re suffering? Ungrateful much?"

"Hey, monkey! If you’re jealous, make your staff transform into a beautiful woman and give you lap pillows, too. Now go away, you’re disturbing my sulking." I turned around, burying my face into Elira’s smooth stomach as I took in a deep, calming breath.

"Fufufufufu... Master, you seem depressed all of a sudden. I wonder why?" Her soft and charming laughter drifted into my ears as I just grumbled into her stomach instead.

"Hehehehehe... Master... it tickles... I’m ticklish down there... sto... stop..."

"Fuck! This bastard is living the life." Malachi.

"What are we? Pieces of wood? Why must we live like this?" Paku.

"You might not be pieces of wood, but with faces like yours, you’d have better chances if you truly were wood." Leo.

"Bastard!! What did you just say?" Malachi roared.

"I said what I said."

"Heh! I’m not taking the word of a chicken-cat I’ve never seen transform seriously. Hell, are you even able to change forms?" Paku sneered.

"Heh! Believe me, the only person that probably wins out against me in looks is that sulking bastard over there. If you two saw my face, then you might just die from depression." The chicken-cat’s claims made my ears twitch in interest as I temporarily forgot about my sorrows, turning toward the griffon.

"You talk big for a chicken-cat. Why not show us instead?"

"I have nothing to prove to you fools, unfortunately, so you’ll just have to take my word for it." The bastard just shrugged us off.

"Wussy!"

"Think what you want."

It was in this same bickering back and forth that the tower took us through light-years of travel as we made our way toward a far-distant region of space. Farther from anywhere we were coming from.

....

....

....

"Woah!!!"

"This... what?"

"Damn... that’s unreal!!"

The exclamations around me weren’t unfounded as the tower finally arrived within the Galactic Sector A-0000002, and what we saw—

"Damn..." Even I was impressed.

We were still a very, very far off distance out, but the starry view of a multitude of lights converging toward one place was already bathing our eyes from this far out.

The closer we got, the larger the scene became until eventually—

"WOOOAHHHHH!!!!" Only one person was ever that loud when they were excited.

Lucien’s little head poked out of my hair as the little man looked on in pure excitement, the starry lights being reflected off his bright purple eyes.

He had been asleep since the last time I sent him to Terra’s domain before going off against Fear and Penance’s servants. The little man, for some reason, was unable to stay awake for more than an hour or so, but I wasn’t too worried since Shaia had said it was something to do with his own growth.

I let the excited kid be excited as I myself looked out at the display currently being shown to us.

The tower’s walls had gone transparent, so it felt like we were actually flying within starry space itself.

Planet after planet. Of different colors. Of different sizes. Some looking smaller than Neptune in Kyle’s life, others looking ten times the size of Aetheris. It was honestly an overwhelming sight.

"Alright, everyone, get ready. I’ll be taking us to one of the major worlds within the High Planar Galaxies. From there, we can make our way toward the Martial Spirit World. From what I could gather, this entire place is now under the jurisdiction of the Dao Emperor Lin Batian of the Lin Imperial Dynasty. The 512th grandson of the first Dao Emperor, Lin Feng Caldera."𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

I almost puked from cringe the moment I heard Sana use so much "Lin" in one sentence.

I was somehow already dreading what I was about to go through within these worlds, yet one tiny guilty pleasure of anticipation couldn’t help but build up within me.

Face-slapping arrogant nobles? Joining some Azure Dragon Ascending Sect? Maybe I might even hand a green hat to some worthy emperor. Who knew?

But if I was going to punish myself with xianxia cringe, then I might as well have fun doing it. And who knows? Maybe the novels were wrong? Maybe things were actually different in real life.

"Alright, everyone, on my signal." Sana’s voice reached us as everyone got ready.

Malachi, Salazar, Paku, Leo, Nyssara, and Lucien, who had found his favorite seat: my head.

There was only one way to find out if the books were accurate or not—

"Now!!"

And that was to experience such a culture myself.

A light flashed, and then we were gone. Taken from the Absolute Estates and thrown toward some random major planet in this cluster of galaxies and worlds, the tower shrinking back into my soul before I disappeared fully.

....

....

"Make way!! Make way!!!"

The transfer hadn’t even ended before a raucous sound attracted my attention.

I wiped my eyes, disbelief painting my face as I came face to face with a speeding carriage. An obnoxious middle-aged man in luxurious robes was whipping people left, right, and center as he bellowed out orders:

"MAKE WAY!! THE YOUNG MASTER OF THE SHIN FAMILY IS PASSING BY!!"

Wap! Wap! Wap!

His words were accompanied by multiple whips that landed on the screaming bystanders, and then—

"You there, are you deaf? I said MAKE WAY!!!"

The fool turned his attention toward my unmoving group, a whip reaching us before his words even did, and right there and then I knew that—

"The novels were right after all..."

I guess it was time to become Young Master Dante once again.

"Heh!"
