I immediately jumped on the lifeline she tossed out.

Ms. Luminous spoke up in a slightly high-pitched voice. It was obvious she was trying her best to change the atmosphere.

For the search itself, Mashiro's sense of smell was indispensable. The goal was to provide a means of transport that could bypass obstacles whenever a bottleneck arose along our route.

Having apparently not been looped into the idea beforehand, Mamonaka Miyao looked completely startled.

Since Roa, Shoubu, and Yumekai—who would have been the stay-behind group—all agreed, we decided to make it a total deployment.
