Once in the car, Tyson asked Chen Bing beside him: "Brother Chen, is the Phoenix Mercenary Corps far from Freedom City?"

Tyson was feeling uneasy, worrying he wouldn’t find his way back or locate Lin Beichen once in the vehicle.

"If it were far, we wouldn’t come all the way here for leisure."

Upon hearing this, Tyson felt more at ease, as long as it wasn’t too far away.

As Tyson followed Chen Bing away from Freedom City towards the base, outside the city, Li Kui seemed to finally notice something was off.

He only remembered because Zhao Ligeng, who had returned from patrol, didn’t see Lin Beichen in the unit and then walked up to Li Kui to ask.

"Hey, you’ve returned, why hasn’t Brother Lin come back yet?"

Seeing Zhao Ligeng’s puzzled expression, Xu Qiang also came to his senses.
