Chapter 1628: Chapter 76: Wild Night Part 1_3
Whoever encounters Fatty and Margaret, these two devils, is practically cursed for eight lifetimes. Just looking at Miller’s suddenly stiffened face tells you how badly he’s been shaken!
Fatty has always believed in adding fuel to the fire and kicking someone when they’re down, and he does it tirelessly. He tilted his head, gazed at Miller curiously and sympathetically, then asked, "You just had a dream last night?"
Miller’s eyes, venomous like a snake, fixed coldly on Fatty, trying to discern the truth from Fatty’s face.
Yet, true or false, the mere thought of Margaret stripped naked like a lamb rolling in bed with this Fatty fueled an unmistakable murderous intent deep within him.
Despite having countless women throughout his twenty-nine years, the one he most desired was only Margaret.
He had once pursued Margaret earnestly and had even tried to use drugs at a banquet to achieve his goal. But it was that very night Margaret publicly ruined his manhood.
In this circle, Miller was called a mad dog. It was because of his innate madness. He was excessively indulgent and perversely twisted, with a strong sense of revenge.
For over a year, he had been scheming to seize an opportunity to deal with this demoness whom he both loved and hated. Every night, he dreamed of Margaret moaning under him.
And upon learning Margaret had returned and through a secret channel heard about this gathering, he immediately arranged personnel to fulfill his long-held desire tonight.
He wasn’t a fool, but he was a madman. He knew Margaret, daring enough to announce the gathering, must have foolproof security measures. The previous attack at Chuckna had already alerted the Hastings family, who would absolutely not allow the same thing to happen again.
Yet, he also knew this was a golden opportunity.
Normally, even the most prominent families found it hard to track Margaret’s whereabouts, much less make careful arrangements. But this time, he had a full five to six hours to meticulously plan starting from the afternoon.
Moreover, the Miller family wasn’t the only one willing to take risks.
Even though the Hastings family was the top family in Feiyang, the power commanded by Military God Hastings was unimaginably vast. However, the old man was already terminally ill. No matter how powerful, he couldn’t openly mobilize such forces. The forces he could mobilize were merely the covert strength of a few families.
In this off-the-record private struggle, the only rule is life and death. It’s not about who has broader connections or greater power, and certainly not about who has more money or more people. Even at the top of the pyramid, a person has only one life. Often, a single bullet can solve all unsolvable issues.
And to accomplish everything in a very short time, sometimes all it takes is a small squad!
Just need to be fast enough, bold enough, precise enough.
Miller never considered himself a coward. Though when he was little, he once caused a widely-known joke because he was afraid of mice, after being forced to catch a hundred mice and scalding them to death with boiling water one-by-one, he forgot his fear.
Today, if there’s someone most likely to take risks, it’s certainly Miller. Kidnap Margaret, and the Hastings family can only hold back. For public and personal reasons, such a gamble is worth it.
Almost instantly, Miller, his eyes burning with anger, made up his mind. Even if he died here tonight, he wouldn’t let these people before him have an easy time!
"In this circle, they call me mad dog." Millerson smiled grimly, "I am the eldest son and grandson of the Miller family. What I want, I’ve never failed to obtain."
Miller’s face moved closer to Fatty’s, the two almost nose-to-nose.
"What others fear, I don’t. What others dread, in my eyes, is nothing but bullshit! What I want to do, I will definitely achieve. I’ve given you the chance to leave just now, but you didn’t cherish it."
He raised his head and craned his neck, speaking in a voice only Fatty and Margaret could hear, "Originally I wanted to play a little longer, to see which old shark would lose patience tonight. But now it seems unnecessary; hearing you guys just now, I suddenly feel impulsive..."
"At this moment....." He smiled, "Do you know how many guns are pointing at your head?"
Seeing Fatty’s fearful expression, he chuckled, "....Perhaps, when I handle your woman, you’ll cheer me on. If you scream loudly enough, maybe I’ll just forgive you."
"Really?" Fatty shivered.
"Tru........" Miller’s voice barely emerged before Fatty slapped him hard, forcing his words back into his throat.
The slap echoed in the silent night like someone bursting a pneumatic paper bag. Before anyone could react, that seemingly goofy Fatty had already punched Miller fiercely in the face.
His fist, large as a bowl, landed like a huge iron hammer, distorting Miller’s whole face. His body leaned back, and blood flew from his face due to the violent strike to his head, followed by several broken teeth!
But Fatty showed no intent to stop.
With a sudden push from his foot, his body charged like a swift rhino, brutally shoulder-slamming into Miller’s chest. Miller flew backward, crashing into the night club’s stone pillar at the entrance, followed by a series of bone-breaking sounds.
Before he could slide to the ground, Fatty grabbed his neck, lifting him up entirely. Miller’s face turned blue from suffocation, legs flailing wildly in the air.
"Really?" Fatty asked with a fiendish look.
Everything happened too fast. It wasn’t until Miller was pinned against the wall like a helpless chicken that his companions and the dozens of bodyguards finally reacted.
"What are you doing?"
"Stop!"
Bu’er, Heinrich, and others shouted, while the bodyguards rushed towards Fatty.
"Bang bang bang bang...." A series of bullets shot through the dust at the bodyguards’ feet, and the heads of the fastest were blown open like watermelons. Red blood and white brain matter bloomed in the dark night like sudden death flowers.
Everyone stopped abruptly, terrified beyond words.
"The attack on General Bernadotte and President Francis, does it have anything to do with you?" Fatty pressed his face closer to Miller’s increasingly darkening face, "Tell me, speak well and I’ll spare you."
Miller struggled desperately with his limbs, the feeling of blood rushing to his head and suffocation made him acutely aware of death approaching.
This wasn’t a thought, this was reality!
At this moment, even if he were a fool, he knew Fatty could kill him without hesitation. Even if he were mad, he realized without an answer, he’d lose his life here.
His bodily functions were showing signs of losing control. For the first time, he felt the horror of death.
Taking advantage of Fatty loosening his grip slightly, Miller, collapsing, rasped hoarsely, "It wasn’t me, it was my family...."
"Good!"
Fatty nodded, then released Miller’s neck. Grabbing his head firmly, he twisted it violently!
Miller’s head spun a full circle, like a rag doll with open eyes, falling onto the cold ground in the gaze of everyone’s stunned expressions.
Underneath Space City, the city below still glittered brightly.
