Chapter 1632: Chapter 78: Inside and Outside Heaven (Part 3)
"Modify the brain?" Jillian exclaimed in shock, "Are their brains becoming like machines?"
Fatty nodded, a fleeting thought suddenly flashed through his mind but then vanished, unable to be grasped. As he pondered, he said, "We’ve captured quite a few Judgers, the earliest was caught on Mars, and we are currently studying them."
"What’s the average hand speed of the Bandit Army mecha pilots?" Jillian pursued further.
Fatty’s words were a blow to her confidence. You must know, her hand speed had barely broken fifty movements, and she was already quite pleased with herself. At least in this circle, very few could match her. But if faced with a Judger, they’re simply like a chicken waiting to be slaughtered, not to mention compared with the Bandit Army.
Although the information gathered from various channels showed that Fatty did not lie, Jillian still found it difficult to accept. She had always thought these legends were just that, legends.
"If we consider the average hand speed of the Bandit Army’s thirty Armored Divisions..." Fatty lifted his wine glass gently and swirled it, a hint of an uncontainable vanity shining in his eyes.
Margaret and Ann Lei exchanged a smile. They knew Fatty was about to drop the first bomb.
In the midst of a tense silence, Fatty casually said, "The average would be about fifty-five movements."
The bomb exploded just as expected, among the crowd. Everyone was dumbfounded, their facial expressions as colorful as could be.
If Fatty said he had a company, or even a battalion, or a regiment of Mechanical Warriors under him with an average hand speed of fifty-five movements, everyone would accept it. But now, what was being heard?
The Bandit Army’s entire thirty Armored Divisions, with an average hand speed of fifty-five movements! Does that mean he has over 180,000 Level 9 Mechanical Warriors at his command?!
Oh my God, is this possible?
David, McCarthy, and others quickly turned their gaze towards Margaret.
Margaret smiled, nodding her head.
Who could understand the Bandit Army’s foundations better than her? If, back then, Fatty could search the entire planet with a Destroyer and couldn’t find twenty thousand Mecha Warriors with a hand speed exceeding fifty movements, then, with these mecha pilots who practiced various techniques from a young age joining the Bandit Army and receiving Fatty’s Mecha Martial Arts and Core Techniques training, their growth rate could only be described as astonishing.
Originally, they were just standing midway up a small hill, climbing upwards.
And now, they stood on another peak they never imagined. Just starting, they were already in another realm!
Fatty’s figures had a hint of bragging.
However, even without an average hand speed of fifty-five movements, Level 9 Mech Knights exceeding fifty movements were countless in the Bandit Army. In a few more months, Fatty’s bragging would no longer be bragging, but iron-clad fact.
This is the Bandit Army’s confidence!
Seeing Margaret nod, everyone inhaled sharply, an uncontrollable commotion suddenly erupted.
In the midst of the exclamations, Jillian asked Fatty, "I don’t believe you, what about your hand speed?"
Fatty looked embarrassed, "Only seventy-three movements per second, in the last year or two, I haven’t touched mechas much, and training time wasn’t sufficient, so not much progress."
Seventy-three movements?! Jillian was almost losing her mind. She grabbed Fatty’s arm, "You’re lying!"
"Want to bet?" Fatty glared.
"Bet on what?" Jillian asked without hesitation.
"Bet on the Edwards family’s stance." Margaret suddenly spoke.
The crowd fell silent instantly.
Jillian abruptly turned to look at Margaret, speechless for a long time.
After a moment, Jillian nodded, seriously said, "I don’t care what happens tonight. However, if General Tian’s words are true, then I think, even if I don’t bet, the Edwards family will make the same choice. I bet, and aside from the Edwards family, I’m also betting on the Li family, the Roan family, and the Franklin family!"
There was a stir among the crowd; everyone knew the other families Jillian referred to always aligned with the Edwards family.
"Including the McCarthy family." McCarthy, who had been silent, suddenly chimed in.
Seeing everyone looking at him in astonishment, McCarthy shrugged slightly, saying calmly, "Although I personally prefer disciplined soldiers more, as a family, it seems there’s no other choice. Moreover, in my view, the Leray Federation and Bandit Army earn more of my respect, at least better than those with Miller!"
In the silence, Fatty and McCarthy gazed at each other, nodding slightly.
"There’s no mecha here, but we can prove it another way," Fatty said to Jillian, "Have you played coin training?"
"Of course!" Jillian replied.
Coin training is a basic training for Mecha Warriors to train finger flexibility. In the genetically optimized selection of modern times, human potential far exceeds Ancient Earth era. Skilled Mecha Warriors can control the rotation of five coins with the fingers of one hand at the same time.
Jillian herself can control six.
"Who has coins?" Fatty asked.
Soon, a waiter brought out a box of coins.
Under everyone’s gaze, Fatty took out the coins one by one and placed them on the wooden tabletop. Five coins, ten coins, fifteen coins....
As more coins were placed, people grew more perplexed. When they saw the twentieth coin placed on the table, everyone’s eyes widened.
