Chapter 885: Alice of Happy Home!

Lynn’s expression immediately turned serious.

Although it was only a guess for now, if it really was true, he couldn’t just sit back and do nothing.

First, he had a special relationship with the Blood-Robed Madam. Second, Earth meant a great deal to him. Although the exact situation was still unclear, if the Blood-Robed Madam really was on Earth now, then with her immense power, if she went berserk, the result would be an unimaginable catastrophe.

Tens of thousands of people might die because of it!

Never underestimate the power of a monster who could rank in the middle of the pyramid even in hell. In the Surface World, it would be utterly overwhelming!

“No!”

Lynn looked up in an instant and grabbed Yin Yi’s hand, speaking in a low, serious voice:

“Yin Yi, possess me right now. We’ll have to put your training on hold. I need to go back and investigate this matter. You’re coming with me!”

Yin Yi froze.

Before she could even react, Lynn suddenly reached out. A black glow instantly spread over his entire body.

【Ding! You are activating the teleportation ability to “Happy Home.” Would you like to proceed now?】

“Yes!”

At almost the same moment,

Yin Yi watched in shock as a pitch-black Magic Circle suddenly unfolded beneath Lynn’s wheelchair. The space before them split open, and an immense suction force surged toward them. A roaring gale instantly swept through the entire Career Center.

Lynn shouted, “Possess me! Hurry!”

Yin Yi didn’t dare delay. She quickly turned her body into nothingness, becoming a streak of light that flowed into Lynn’s body.

And in the very next moment,

Crash!

The spatial storm swept all the tables and chairs around them off their feet. Lynn’s body was instantly sucked into the Rift in space.

Everyone in the Career Hall stared at the scene in astonishment. Once the storm died down, only the wheelchair remained, rocking back and forth where they had been.

……

【Happy Home】

The towering castle was still shrouded in layer upon layer of black mist, as if nothing had changed since several months ago.

And then, in the very next moment,

The black mist above Happy Home suddenly began swirling with a roar, quickly forming an enormous vortex.

In the castle’s clearing, Alice, her entire body covered in suture thread, sat on a thorn-covered swing and stared blankly at her “crops.” When the vortex appeared in the sky, she abruptly raised her head, her gaze turning urgent.

“Brother?!”

Delight shone in her eyes. Her white dress made her look like a fluttering butterfly. She immediately hopped down barefoot and dashed toward the center of the clearing, gazing up at the vortex.

Such things rarely happened at peaceful Happy Home.

And there was no doubt about it.

A disturbance in space like this could only mean that Brother Lynn was opening a portal here!

Buzz!

In almost an instant,

A beam of black light dropped into the clearing at the center of Happy Home. Lynn, dressed in a patient’s gown, appeared amid a gust of wind.

The moment Alice saw him, she let out a delighted cry like a little animal who had finally found her family. As soon as Lynn’s vision began to clear, she was already rushing toward him, her figure fluttering as she plunged into his arms.

“Brother… I knew you’d be all right…”

She squeezed him tightly with her eyes closed, her face filled with happiness and warmth.

Lynn froze. His vision cleared, and he saw the small, innocent girl in his arms. A smile immediately appeared on his face. He reached out and lifted little Alice up, but then, because his kidney was Overdrawn, he plopped down on the ground.

“I knew you’d be here. It’s been so many days, Alice. Have you missed your brother a lot?”

Alice’s existence was rather special.

She was an Earthbound Spirit.

Back when she was with him, he had to use Curse Purge once every day to sever her bond to Happy Home.

But after he had been unconscious for a long time because of the quill incident, the curse on Alice was no longer being cleared by him. Inevitably, it dragged her back to Happy Home.

Unfortunately, he hadn’t even had time to do anything about it.

Lynn doted on and adored this well-behaved, powerful little sister of his.

Yin Yi’s spirit form separated from Lynn’s body in a streak of light. She looked at the little girl in Lynn’s arms in shock. Although Alice wasn’t openly revealing her power, even the faint ripple of Ghost Energy radiating from her body made Yin Yi feel her soul being suppressed.

That feeling was even stronger than the unease she’d felt when she saw the Red-Clad Evil Spirit in the video.

There was no doubt about it.

This little girl was an unimaginably terrifying Evil Ghost!

What shocked Yin Yi even more was that she called Mr. Lynn “Brother.” Were they blood siblings, or was she, like the little loli she’d seen before, one of the peculiar entries in Mr. Lynn’s perverted desires?

“I missed you so much…”

Alice closed her eyes and hugged him tightly with all her strength.

“I can’t bear to be apart from you… even for just fifteen minutes…”

That was also why Lynn was so fond of his adorable little sister. Of all the girls, Alice’s feelings for him were the purest, utterly flawless, like a pristine piece of jade that he could shape and cherish however he pleased.

Lynn gently lifted her like a Doll and sat her on his lap. He brushed her long, curly golden hair behind her ear, then introduced her to Yin Yi with a slight curl of his lips:

“This is my little sister, Alice. She’s also the Female Host of this castle, and the little angel I treasure most. She’s very powerful.”

Yin Yi stiffly nodded.

There was no need for an introduction.

The powerful suppressive force Alice exerted over other Evil Spirits had already made it extremely difficult for Yin Yi even to move.

Alice remained with her eyes closed, quietly nestled in Lynn’s arms as she enjoyed his scent. She didn’t even look at Yin Yi beside them. It wasn’t arrogance. In her eyes, there was only her brother.

Her dependence on him was plain to see.

“Alice, aren’t you going to ask why your brother came here?”

Lynn blinked as he held her and asked.

Alice kept her eyes closed and leaned against his neck, holding two of Lynn’s fingers affectionately. “As long as you’re holding me, that’s enough…”

As for anything else, she truly didn’t care in the slightest. In this world, there was nothing she cared about besides her brother.

Lynn could only laugh helplessly.

What could he possibly say to such an adorable little sister?

Still, Lynn hadn’t forgotten why he had come. He took the upgraded and reinforced wheelchair Sir Aiwen had given him out of System Space and put it on. Then he settled the well-behaved Alice back on his lap and looked around the castle, both strange and familiar.

Happy Home was a castle at the end of Soul-Severance Street, and it was one of the most recognizable landmarks there.

His potion shop in Wandering Souls Alley was not far away. Both places fell under the jurisdiction of Sin City, that vast city of hell. Though they were close, Lynn didn’t know that much about the city.

He thought for a moment.

“Alice, your brother wants to ask you something. In the past few days since you came back, have you noticed any unusual disturbances in the direction of Wandering Souls Alley? Something like the spatial tremors caused by a large-scale Summoning?”

Lynn asked solemnly.

After all, any Summoning inevitably left behind spatial fluctuations.

Just as returning to Happy Home stirred the black mist, a Summoning across worlds would cause even more disturbance, especially when its target was the Blood-Robed Madam, a Flesh Wraith second only to Alice.

Alice paused and opened her eyes in confusion.

Seeing her brother watching her with a serious expression, she thought carefully.

Then, unexpectedly, she nodded.

Lynn’s heart sank. He immediately pressed her for an answer. “When did it happen, Alice? Can you describe it? This is very important to your brother.”

Alice thought back carefully, then looked toward Wandering Souls Alley and considered the question.

“It was probably a few days ago. Alice did feel some unusual disturbances coming from that direction… But since I couldn’t leave the castle, I didn’t pay much attention to them. A few of Alice’s crops did tell me some things, though…”

Lynn froze. “Crops?”
