To be honest, feeling the terrifying presence of the lord of the devil forest once again, the Land Creation Realm cultivators from the cultivator alliance were already prepared to turn around and escape in case the senior couldn’t handle the battle.
Luckily, as they carefully sensed the fluctuations of the battle from afar, they soon enough breathed out a sigh of relief upon realizing that the lord of the devil forest wasn’t winning and instead seemed to be continuously clashing with that senior.
However, with that senior now having a very real chance of taking down the lord of the devil forest, they couldn’t afford to hold back in the slightest as they had to do everything in their power to prevent the demon beasts at the Land Creation Realm from rushing over to aid the lord of the devil forest in fighting that senior, something that was harder than anticipated, as the number of demon beasts at the Land Creation Realm within the devil forest exceeded them by around 6. Meaning some of them would have to hold back 2 demon beasts at the Land Creation Realm on their own, a task that couldn’t currently be archived by anyone other than two seniors of the cultivator alliance that had reached the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm.
In other words, as the demon beasts also sensed the trouble that their lord was in and began attempting to leave to lend a hand to their lord, four demon beasts at the Land Creation Realm ultimately broke free after being forcibly held back by close to half an hour before the Land Creation Realm cultivators keeping them in check were forced to give up to avoid being killed off by those demon beasts.
All they could do now was hope that the senior would be able to either take down the lord of the devil forest before those reinforcements arrived or weaken the lord of the devil forest enough that he would be able to easily handle those four additional Land Creation Realm demon beast about to join them.

From only having one of his arms injured, it had now been damaged to a degree where it had essentially been rendered useless. The only positive being that it hadn’t been directly torn off during his last exchange with the silverback gorilla demon beast corpse.
Adding those four demon beasts, one of them at the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm, would undoubtedly be a bit troublesome to deal with in his current state if he also had to deal with the silverback gorilla demon beast corpse at the same time.

So, with that in mind, he decided to use his divine void eyes to cause a true spatial collapse around the silverback gorilla demon beast corpse. Even knowing that this wouldn’t be enough to outright kill this demon beast corpse whose strength had been close to the Venerable Realm before its death, the same couldn’t be said for the parasitic mushroom colony that had firmly planted itself on top of it.
To ensure the safety of the parasitic mushroom colony, the silverback gorilla demon beast corpse that had been entirely on the offensive so far was forced to shift its attention away from him briefly as it escaped the spatial collapse-

But with him having essentially burnt through a majority of his spiritual qi to cause this spatial collapse, it happened in an instant and gave the parasitic mushroom colony in control of the silverback gorilla demon beast corpse no time to react, as close to ninety percent of the parasitic mushroom colony was directly torn apart by the time it reacted and attempted to get the silverback gorilla demon beast corpse to protect it and get it out of the collapsing space-

Something that was far from simple for a corpse that only had brute strength, as even while protecting the parasitic mushroom colony on its towering body, it ended up having one of its legs and arms torn off in the process while over half of the remaining parasitic mushroom colony perished along with those two towering limbs.
To say it was in a bad state would be an understatement, as it was essentially forced to burn through the last bit of its borrowed strength to drag the part of its body caught in the spatial collapse out while at the same time protecting what little now remained of the parasitic mushroom colony.
If not for the fact that Xuan Hao found himself besieged by four Land Creation Realm demon beasts, he would have loved to take advantage of this weakened state to land the killing blow.
As for the state of that battle...

Even in his weakened state, he easily cut down the two Early Stage Land Creation Realm demon beasts using the Void Sword Art before directly crushing the Middle Stage Land Creation Realm demon beast using his inner world. Leaving the Late Stage Land Creation Realm demon beast that managed to put up some resistance before it was ultimately cut down alongside its companions using a combination of the Dao of the Sword and the Dao of Space.
After all, not all demon beasts had a way to counter the Dao of Space like the silverback gorilla demon beast corpse and were left with no real counter in the face of someone who could instantly close the distance and simultaneously avoid all counterattacks in a similar manner.
The four demon beast dead, Xuan Hao shifted his attention back to the parasitic mushroom colony, ready to finish it off-

The little bit of strength left in the corpse of the silverback gorilla that had originally been under the control of the parasitic mushroom colony had somehow managed to wrest control back from the severely weakened mushroom colony and had chosen to take it down with it. Giving him no chance to finish the job himself as the parasitic mushroom colony had already perished because of the corpse, it had been parasitizing.
