Later, he encountered an enormous vortex of spatial turbulence over three hundred miles in diameter.

An unbelievably strong suction force emanated from it. Within the turbulence, space itself was shattered, creating razor-sharp fragments comparable to Fifth-rank Magical Artifacts. If caught within it, even a Feather Divine Soldier would struggle to survive.

The space surrounding this vortex of turbulence was utterly empty, swept clean; not a single large asteroid remained.

Beneath this Demon Tree, two hordes of Celestial Demons were locked in furious battle.

Fang Cheng had never seen this type of Celestial Demon before. They had six large, curved horns atop their heads and a pair of black, membranous wings. Standing six or seven hundred feet tall, they also had three tails tipped with triangular arrowheads.

Their faces, surprisingly, resembled those of handsome men and beautiful women of the Human Race. But from the neck down, their bodies were covered in fine scales, their hands were hooked claws, and their legs were digitigrade, with knees that bent backward.

As far as he could see, the two hordes of Celestial Demons numbered over ten thousand strong. Among them were over a hundred Tier Four Celestial Demons; the rest were all Tier Three.

Wielding dense Demonic Qi and wreathed in bloody light, the Celestial Demons clashed in a chaotic melee. The power on display was astonishing, the battle brutal beyond measure.

The intense shockwaves from their battle made the void tremble, sending ripples spreading far into the distance.

Fang Cheng remained concealed, observing from a distance for a while before he finally understood the situation.

As it turned out, the two hordes of Celestial Demons were fighting over the enormous Demon Tree.

The nearly one hundred remaining Tier Four Celestial Demons joined forces, attacking the dark-red Demonic Qi in the void.

It zipped back and forth, slaughtering indiscriminately, and in no more than the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, it had crushed all the Tier Four Celestial Demons.

The Taishi Demon Qi grew ever denser, shrouding the void. "Celestial Venerable of Universal Transformation" grew to a height of a thousand feet, its chest forming a vortex that swallowed all the Demonic Qi.

At last, silence fell beneath the giant Demon Tree.

The Low-Tier Celestial Demons had long since fled into the distant void, their whereabouts unknown.

A moment later,

"Celestial Venerable of Universal Transformation" raised a hand and shot a stream of Taishi Demon Qi at the Demon Tree.

the dark-red Demonic Qi transformed into a surging river, striking the trunk that resembled a pillar holding up the heavens.

The Demonic Qi spread rapidly across the giant tree, vaporizing it and releasing an immense volume of Taishi Demon Qi. It formed a roiling, dense fog that billowed outward as an utterly terrifying demonic aura brewed within.
