Cultivation: I Have a Golden Talisman
Chapter 663 The Demon Lord Escapes, the Beginning of the Great War
It seemed the three Spirit Immortals of Qianyu Heaven had also considered this when they granted him their heritage, forging a karmic bond.
"So you’re saying that the Nine Tribulation Expert from Kunyu Heaven, the one ranked first on the Immortal Ascension List, has been delaying his ascension because he’s also waiting to challenge the Milo Immortal Road?"
"Precisely." Venerable Jiayin’s eyes twinkled, a faint smile gracing her lips. "Fellow Daoist Fang, how about we make another deal?"
They had gone from being hostile competitors in the Spirit Immortal’s Abandoned Mansion to their current, seamless intimacy. They reveled in carnal bliss, as familiar with one another as Daoist partners. The poignant twists and turns of their journey left a deep, lingering impression.
The moment Venerable Jiayin spoke, Fang Cheng knew she had completely let go of all their past entanglements.
"Please speak, Fellow Daoist," Fang Cheng said frankly.
Venerable Jiayin said, "How about I trade you a pass for the Milo Immortal Road in exchange for you taking up a nominal post in my Dongyang Immortal Alliance?"
"In the future, when you go to the Milo Immortal Road, you must undergo the Milo Immortal Court’s trial for Spirit Officials under the banner of my Dongyang Immortal Alliance. If you ultimately succeed in your ascension and enter the Milo Immortal Court, our Dongyang Immortal Alliance can become a vassal of the Court. At that time, the Immortal Alliance’s status in the Spiritual Sky Realm will be worlds apart from what it is today."
After hearing her out, Fang Cheng asked with a smile, "Is a pass for the Milo Immortal Road very precious?"
Venerable Jiayin didn’t beat around the bush and answered frankly, "Among the top factions in the Lower Realm, most have obtained some passes from the Spiritual Sky Realm. The Beiming Immortal Race, for example, should have some as well, but they would never give them out casually."
"But for a small, remote, and isolated place like your Red Profound Realm, I’m afraid you’ve never even heard of the Milo Immortal Court. Wanting to obtain a pass would be an absolute pipe dream."
Fang Cheng pondered for a moment before saying, "I only advanced to the Tribulation Realm a hundred years ago. It’s not as if I won’t have opportunities to get a pass for the Immortal Road from other channels in the future. The All Heavens and Myriads of Realms are boundless. I’m bound to run into major powers like your Dongyang Immortal Alliance or the Beiming Immortal Race eventually."
Jia Yin smiled faintly. Over the years, she had come to understand Fang Cheng’s nature well. ’He’s just trying to squeeze more out of me, that’s all.’
She said unhurriedly, "But the Dongyang Immortal Alliance is still your best option right now. A pass for the Immortal Road is right in front of you, saving you the trouble of searching aimlessly through the outer heavens. What are your conditions? You might as well state them."
Fang Cheng raised his eyes to look at the beautiful young nun, his gaze burning as he said, "First, I want you."
Jia Yin met his nakedly aggressive gaze. The memory of his previous stormy, savage thrusting and scraping made her Dao Heart tremble uncontrollably.
Then Fang Cheng continued slowly, "In the past, there was an element of coercion in how I treated you, Fellow Daoist. You simply let me have my way, which made it all rather bland. During our Dual Cultivation from now on, I expect you to take more initiative."
Venerable Jiayin was secretly annoyed, but her face remained serene as she said, "I will accompany you for another hundred years. After that, it will be time for you to go to the Milo Immortal Road, and I must return to Yuelang Heaven to oversee things... This counts as one condition. If you continue to make unreasonable demands, we can drop this discussion entirely."
Fang Cheng nodded in agreement. "Alright. The next two conditions are simple. I need two fifth-tier Cross-border Transmission Magical Artifacts, plus a top-tier sect from Yuelang Heaven to be at my disposal."
In the Dongyang Immortal Alliance, cultivation heritages were passed down through its academies.
In ordinary academies, students could graduate once they reached the Life Talisman Realm. In the top academies, however, some students only graduated after they had formed their Life Soul.
They either returned to their families, joined large sects, or founded their own.
These sects, as organizations of cultivators, primarily focused on the myriad arts of cultivation—such as exploring the heavens, Qi Refining, talisman crafting, Beast Taming, and Arrays—to accumulate Cultivation Resources and continue raising their Cultivation.
Although some top-tier sects didn’t have many members, their weakest were at least Life Soul Realm cultivators from major academies. They were mostly coalitions of interest formed by Dharma Aspect and Tribulation Realm Cultivators.
Upon hearing Fang Cheng’s two demands, Venerable Jiayin hesitated for a moment before readily agreeing.
As the sole Spirit Immortal Incarnation currently overseeing Yuelang Heaven, she held immense power, governing its many academies and holding sway over hundreds of sects and families, both large and small. Accomplishing this would not be difficult.
After the two came to an agreement, they could both sense a subtle shift in their state of mind.
The atmosphere in the Zen room also became relaxed and harmonious. When their eyes met, there was now a faint, flirtatious ambiguity in the air.
Venerable Jiayin sat cross-legged on a jade mat, her delicate feet bare and fair. She resembled a celestial Bodhisattva, not just beautiful but radiating a sacred dignity that prevented others from looking at her directly.
Fang Cheng came up behind Venerable Jiayin and slowly sat down. He wrapped his arms around her slender, smooth waist and whispered in her ear, "Fellow Daoist, it’s your turn to take the initiative and help me cultivate."
Jia Yin’s fair, delicate earlobes flushed slightly. She sighed softly and said, "If you cannot transcend carnal desire, how will you ever seek the Dao and achieve immortality?"
With that said, she slowly turned her waist, twisted around, and pushed Fang Cheng down onto the floor.

Inside the elegantly furnished Zen room, the atmosphere was warm and tranquil.
This session of cultivation for Fang Cheng and Jia Yin had a unique flavor. The two were as passionate and lingering as could be, indulging themselves completely, leaving both body and soul utterly satisfied.
After the clouds had scattered and the rain had ceased, Jia Yin rose and began to dress.
Fang Cheng, bare-chested, rested his head on his own powerfully built arms, which were stretched out languidly. He savored every detail as the incomparably beautiful Spirit Immortal Incarnation dressed before him.
Her Zen Robe was magnificent and exquisite, with wide sleeves and long lapels. A jade belt cinched at her waist, accentuating its slender grace and her full, rounded hips.
A subtle, refreshing fragrance wafted through the air, clear and pleasant.
A soft glow emanated from Jia Yin’s fair, jade-like cheeks, making her seem even more noble and serenely beautiful.
Recalling their recent amorous frenzy, Fang Cheng’s Dao Heart was tranquil, his mind at peace. He watched her graceful back and said lazily, "I have a great enemy who is about to break free and reappear in the world. A great battle will be inevitable then. Will you stay and watch, Fellow Daoist, or return to Yuelang Heaven first to avoid the disturbance?"
