“Gu… Fellow Daoist Gu is just too strong,” Qin Xiao murmured, his eyes widening in shock as he hovered in the empty air.

After just a few brief exchanges, he knew the Demon Fiend was incredibly powerful—far stronger than him. And yet, this formidable Demon Fiend was losing to Gu Yun.

After some time, the sea of blood, which stretched for thousands of miles, was riddled with holes. Dark, empty voids pockmarked its surface like wounds, branded deep into Blood Nether Celestial’s form.

TSSST!

Soon, the boundless sea of blood receded, coalescing into a single figure with an unusually handsome face, blood-red hair, and matching robes. His body was covered in countless wounds, some deep enough to reveal bone. He looked utterly battered, having clearly suffered devastating injuries.

The Celestial Punishment Power within the residual Divine Thunder lingered on Blood Nether Celestial’s wounds as crackling, fiery arcs. Any surge of immense vitality from within the Demon Fiend’s body was instantly annihilated by the clinging Divine Thunder Power.

“Cough, cough.” Blood Nether Celestial hacked, staggering a few steps in the air before finding his footing. Dark red blood spurted from the corner of his mouth, and as it dripped to the ground below, each drop blasted a massive crater, its terrifying power annihilating the soil to ash.

“It’s over, Demon Fiend,” Gu Yun said coolly from his position in the air, a glint of killing intent in his eyes. A terrifying Dao Rhythm swirled around him, wreathed in Thunder. The next instant, he took a step forward that shattered the space around him. His body moved like a soaring dragon, streaking across the sky as if traversing the void itself.

He instantly appeared before Blood Nether Celestial, his fingers clenching into a fist. Immense Magical Power surged forth as a myriad of gnarled, crimson bolts of Thunder flickered around his knuckles, containing a terrifying, ultimate power.

He drew back his arm, gathering power, then unleashed a punch wrapped in the force of a thousand storms. The fist slammed into Blood Nether Celestial’s chest and, with unstoppable Momentum, pierced straight through his entire body!

BOOM!!

The utterly domineering Thunder Power of the Vermilion Bird Heaven-Burning Thunder erupted within Blood Nether Celestial’s body. It spread instantly, burning, shattering, and annihilating everything in its path, extinguishing every last trace of the Demon Fiend’s life force.

“Heh… you… haven’t won…”

“I… haven’t lost.” Blood Nether Celestial’s eyes flew wide, blood spilling from his lips as he spoke with a defiant hiss.

WHOOSH!

Gu Yun yanked his arm back out of Blood Nether Celestial’s chest. His white sleeve was now soaked, dripping with dark red blood that thrummed with immense power. A gaping hole was left in Blood Nether Celestial’s torso, and his body began to fall, limp and weightless.

“You haven’t lost, but you are already dead,” Gu Yun stated dispassionately. He hovered in the air, his deep eyes watching Blood Nether Celestial’s body plummet to the earth.

“Fellow Daoist Gu… won.” Floating in the void, Du Yuan’s aged eyes were filled with shock. ‘He actually killed a Demon Fiend on par with a Tongxuan Realm Peak expert with his own hands!’

“Old Ghost Du, it seems we two barely had to lift a finger,” Qin Xiao remarked with a shaken sigh, watching as Gu Yun dispatched the terrifying Demon Fiend.

Gu Yun hovered in the air, his cold eyes watching until Blood Nether Celestial’s corpse hit the ground. He then took a light step forward, sending out ripples through the air as if on water. Just as he was about to depart,

“What?!”

Gu Yun’s eyes shot wide as an overwhelming sense of crisis suddenly erupted from deep within him.

The dark clouds overhead churned, roiling violently. They became as thick as mountains and as black as ink, an oppressive mass that seemed ready to collapse, crushing everything with its infinite pressure!

Immediately after, a vast and terrifying power, like that of the Immortal Gods themselves, surged forth. The entire world trembled violently, as if some supremely dreadful being had just descended.

‘This body,

is really quite weak.’

From the dust cloud below, a figure slowly walked out. Its crimson eyes shone with an unprecedented light through the murky, yellow haze!

When the figure was fully revealed, it was none other than the Blood Nether Celestial whom Gu Yun had just killed.

‘Blood Nether Celestial’ raised his head slightly. His ancient eyes, like a river of bloody stars, seemed to pierce through all creation. They swept past Gu Yun, Qin Xiao, and Du Yuan, before finally locking onto Gu Yun as a deep voice spoke:

“You are quite impressive.”

Gu Yun’s pupils contracted. A terrifying pressure, like a mountain of the Ninth Layer, bore down on his shoulders. His brow furrowed, his expression grew graver than ever before, and he spoke in a low voice:

“You are not Blood Nether Celestial. Who in the world are you?!”

‘The pressure this being exerts is immense. His aura is completely different now. The power he radiates is beyond my imagination. A mere wisp of his presence makes the heavens and earth tremble. It feels as if he could destroy the world with a single move… How terrifying!’

“The dead have no need to know my name.”

‘Blood Nether Celestial’ spoke lightly, his ancient eyes looking as if they had witnessed countless millennia. Then, with a hint of regret, he added, “Such a pity.”

He then raised a hand and extended a single finger. A terrifying power, one that seemed to transcend the Harmonization realm itself, condensed at his fingertip. It manifested as a dim, cross-shaped light that grew increasingly brilliant, seeming to contain the dreadful power to unmake the world!
