Huo Jiantian stood in front of the barbecue stand, looking at the skewers being grilled over the fire, inhaling the unique aroma of barbecue, swallowing hard incessantly!

After waiting a little while, the thirty skewers were ready. Ling Yueyue paid, took the skewers, and handed the first one to Huo Jiantian, "Quickly eat it, this stuff is best eaten hot; when it’s cold, it tastes much worse!"

"Oh!" Huo Jiantian nodded, carefully taking a bite of the meat and putting it into his mouth! Once he tasted it, he couldn’t help but widen his eyes and took another big bite.

For someone accustomed to proper home-cooked meals, tasting this unique flavor for the first time was addictive, feeling like this was the most delicious thing in the world!

In no time at all, all thirty skewers were finished!

Huo Jiantian licked his lips unsatisfied, "Wicked stepmother, I want more! It’s so good!"

"There are so many delicious things here, if you fill your stomach now, how will you have room for others! Let me tell you, since your dad isn’t with us today, we must seize the opportunity to eat well! Let’s go, I’ll take you to get oden, it’s even tastier!"
