Chapter 1580: Chapter 175: A Move Stirred After a Century

Tian Kun nodded slightly and said, "It is I."

The old servant immediately became emotional, a sadness welling up in his heart for unknown reasons, and abruptly knelt down, clutching Tian Kun’s legs, saying, "It has been fifty years, and the old servant has finally seen the master again."

He was a servant of the Wang Family, but after arriving at the mansion, he had only seen Tian Kun once. That was rather fortunate, for the previous two servants never saw Tian Kun from the moment they entered the mansion until they died of old age.

Though he cried with tears and snot, Tian Kun did not show any distaste and asked, "Is my respected teacher in the mansion?"

The old servant was taken aback, then awkwardly said, "I, this humble one, don’t know about these things..." He repeatedly patted his head, "Master is out of seclusion, I will go inform the madam..."

Tian Kun did not stop him, said "very well," and watched as the hunched figure gradually departed, while he stood still, waiting quietly.

After a while, a fragrance suddenly wafted in, and then Wang Caiting’s figure came into view. Her beautiful eyes looked over, suddenly glowing, and she exclaimed with surprise, "Senior Brother, have you cultivated to the Nascent Soul?"

Though Tian Kun had been in seclusion for more than a hundred years, both he and Wang Caiting were cultivators, with long lifespans. Even events from over a century ago seemed like yesterday, so clear and vivid that there was no awkwardness from not seeing each other for so long. He immediately revealed a slight smile and said, "Just a minor achievement, Junior Sister. Is our master in the mansion?"

Wang Caiting naturally came up to hold his hand and said, "The master has just returned from Shaoqing; Senior Brother, you can go pay your respects."

Tian Kun paused for a moment and said, "I’ve been in seclusion for so long, unaware of matters in the outside world. Junior Sister, could you tell me some important things so that I don’t embarrass myself in front of our master?"

Wang Caiting pouted and said, "With me at your side, how could Senior Brother embarrass himself? Just confidently go and pay your respects." As she spoke, she pulled him along towards Zhang Yan’s Cave Mansion.

Jiuling Sect, Soul Tethering Cave.

Su YiAng was in the midst of refining the banner in his hand, surrounded by billowing black smoke and countless spiritual souls wailing and howling. At this moment, his heart suddenly skipped a beat, his expression tightened, immediately recognizing that this was Zhang Yan summoning him.

Hurriedly, he glanced around, still particularly wary of the methods of his fellow sect members even in his own mansion, fearing that his anomaly might be spotted.

After several checks, ensuring that no one had tampered with anything, he finally entered meditation, striving to use his heart and spirit to sense.

It was only after a long while that he emerged from meditation.

Though he couldn’t speak, he vaguely sensed through Zhang Yan’s command to find out the Demon Sects’ activities over the decades.

That day, after Zhang Yan released him, he managed to seize the body of a Demon Sect practitioner and later joined a small Demon Sect. Originally, he intended to find an opportunity to enter the Six Great Demon Sects, but unexpectedly, he was selected by a messenger from Jiuling Sect to become a disciple.

In this line, he was under Elder Cai De Yan. Although his master’s status in the sect was not low, there were over a hundred disciples, with only two outstanding ones, both having entered the Nascent Soul Realm. His master, Liu Nao, although entered the sect early, was only at the First Realm of Hua Dan, making her one of the least regarded ones.

However, because of this, he posed no threat to his fellow sect members, getting along relatively harmoniously with fellow disciples, saving a lot of effort in dealings with Third Generation Disciples. Had he ended up with an arrogant and disdainful master, he would have found progress difficult.

In these years, through deliberate inquiry, he learned quite a lot, though these matters, not considered secrets in the Demon Sect, were not easily probed by Xuanmen. He decided to find a way to send the information out, but not by Flying Book, as that could be intercepted; he needed to handle it after leaving Jiuling Sect.

Pointing with his finger, he absorbed the black smoke into the banner, then packed it up, exited the Cave Mansion, identified the direction, and erupted with rolling Evil Qi from his feet, wrapping his body, and flew downward along a deep gorge path.

The Jiuling Sect’s Mountain Gate was the most secretive among the Six Great Demon Sects, known only to the elders, with no one knowing where the Spirit Cave was. Besides, sect disciples seldom gathered, their caves often several hundred to a thousand miles apart. Even if they encountered each other, it was hardly ever their true bodies. On this route, he met no one.

Flying through the underground corridor for about an hour, he arrived at an inconspicuous cave entrance, below which was an icy water well. Without hesitation, he leaped in, broke through the ice surface, and swam through the water passage for several miles. With a splash, he surfaced and landed in an enchanting courtyard, fragrant with flowers and filled with the songs of birds and swallows. A hundred steps ahead, a delicate bamboo building stood, several peacocks pecked at the ground, and four or five shapely women laughed and played, swinging and engaging in games.

The body Su YiAng occupied was handsome, drawing heated gazes from a few women, yet he did not spare them a glance, walking straight towards the bamboo building.

Were outsiders likely to be deceived by appearances, he understood these were his teacher’s crafted spiritual babies, empty inside, save for a mass of blood-corroding Fierce Qi under the skin.

Entering the pavilion, he found it empty, but was not surprised. He knelt and kowtowed, saying, "Disciple greets the teacher."

Suddenly, a wisp of smoke spewed from the ground, forming a person. However, this figure was tightly wrapped in flags painted with talisman symbols, revealing only a pair of clear eyes. A gentle female voice spoke, "Disciple, do you have something to discuss with your teacher?"

Su YiAng dared not raise his head and said, "Master, although I’ve advanced in cultivation sitting long in the sect, I lack self-protection means and thus seek permission to leave and find opportunities for cultivating Divine Skills."

Liu Nao sighed and said, "If you want to leave, I will not stop you. Just remember, do not enter the Mingcang Sect territory. Zhang Yan is very capable, commanding his Nascent Soul Third Realm cultivators effortlessly. Avoid any Mingcang disciples, if possible, avoid confrontation."

Su YiAng made a grateful expression and said, "Disciple thanks Master for the guidance."

Liu Nao further advised, "Though my talent is lacking, you surpass your master in aptitude. Protect yourself and act cautiously, for your name might one day grace Wanling Rock."

"Master’s teachings will be firmly kept in my heart," he said.

After another bow, Su YiAng accepted the Mountain Departure Token, took his leave, and ascended to the surface with his Elixir Evil.
