Death Notice
Book 10: Chapter 1: Fallen Angel
Robin covered her mouth with a light laugh. “Oh, so you recognized me at a glance. It seems Prince Firal still remembers me!”
“Ah…” Qin Lun steadied himself. He noticed the beautiful woman before him looked somewhat different from the Robin he had met in the Toril World. However, her intellectual charm remained the same, so he recognized her instantly.
Unlike Kelly, who always wore loose white training clothes and dressed carelessly, Robin preferred professional attire. She wore a well-tailored black velvet women’s suit and a pencil skirt that outlined her S-shaped body curve. The black stockings and high heels on her lower body made her long, slender legs look even more enchanting.
Her smooth, straight black hair and striking beauty gave her a fresh, refined aura. Yet the deep V-neck of her suit revealed a glimpse of fair, delicate skin and a deep cleavage, adding a strong sense of uniform allure that made men’s thoughts wander.
“Alright, everyone, please stop what you are doing. Now that we are all here, it’s time for us to enter the Quest World.” Robin glanced around and clapped her hands lightly to draw everyone’s attention.
“Leader Robin, are we leaving now?” Balin, who stood beside Qin Lun, frowned slightly. “But we haven’t felt the rejection from the Star Void yet?”
“Don’t worry. The teleportation gate we are using is different from the public ones at Devil’s Horn. We can make small adjustments to the teleportation laws.” Robin explained with a smile. “This gives us a chance to avoid tracking items from the other two big alliances. It’s best if we don’t run into them!”
As she spoke, Robin glanced at Qin Lun with a teasing smile. She said meaningfully to the others, “Also, although I am the leader of this Silver Team called ‘Patrol’, our strongest Apostle is our deputy leader—Qin Lun here. You can ask him for advice in your free time!”
“Women, always so petty!” Qin Lun sighed inwardly. Facing the surprised looks from the others, he showed a shy, awkward smile.
…
“…Apostle Soul Mark has entered the Boundary Dimension. Shattered Laws initiated…”
“…Detected that the Apostle belongs to the official Silver Team with the title ‘Patrol’. Matching to a Quest World starting now…”
Taking advantage of this moment, Qin Lun quickly observed his surroundings with his consciousness. He noticed that entering the Boundary Dimension with this new team was different from before.
Around his Apostle Soul Mark, nine blurry light figures floated. They were likely his nine temporary teammates. Outside their circle, a ball of orange-yellow light protected them.
Without checking carefully, Qin Lun intuitively understood that this orange-yellow light was likely a protective layer unique to Silver Teams. When he entered the Toril World with the Fortress team before, this phenomenon did not occur. Probably because the Fortress team was not an official Silver Team.
“If an Apostle Soul Mark needs team law protection in the Boundary Dimension, does that mean Apostles are not completely safe when entering or leaving Quest Worlds?” Qin Lun was slightly startled by this conclusion. “It seems I need to find time to ask Robin after entering the Quest World.”
“…Detected that the ‘Patrol’ Silver Team is a full-member Class Change team. More than half of the team members are Second-Order Apostles. Matching entry to Mid-Magic Shadow World 5301-7…”
“The Apostle Soul Mark of Apostle 70053 has been placed into a plot clone body and transformed into a Law Body. The current Exploration Rate of this world exceeds 50%, making it a Mid-Magic World under the Star Void’s control. The Apostle Soul Mark and Apostle identity do not need to be concealed.”
“…Detected that Apostle 70053 possesses a high-level Demon Bloodline. None of the available clone bodies at the drop location can meet the Soul Mark’s requirements. Altering the clone body’s genes, incorporating negative gene sequences (according to the Apostle Covenant, Law Body reconstruction cost is ten thousand Shattered Crystals).”
“…Beginning synchronization of the Apostle with this world’s law data. Because this world’s laws conflict with the Apostle’s original combat laws, the Star Void will perform equivalent substitution. Team communication channels and personal Storage Space are now closed. The Apostle’s original body bloodline and all equipment skills are sealed.”
“Warning: After entering the Quest World, the Apostle must quickly adapt to the new combat laws…”
In the Boundary Dimension, the orange-yellow light ball containing Qin Lun suddenly tore through the void and entered a dark, deep transmission track.
Simultaneously, as they entered the transmission track, a thin but seemingly indestructible law thread suddenly reached out from the void and firmly attached itself to Qin Lun’s team light ball. Not long after they entered the transmission track, the law thread pulled another orange-yellow light ball into the same track as well.

World Background Introduction:
In the year 2331 of the Third Universe Calendar, the life planet of the Gith faced a crisis of near extinction due to an attack by the floating cosmic race Jannamer. The enormous floating cosmic creature, vast as the sky, polluted the entire Gith Star. The Gith had no choice but to flee the planet in various cosmic ships.
However, the Gith, who already possessed early Third Universe technology, quickly launched a counterattack. They gathered hundreds of various cosmic warships from life planets in several nearby star systems and bravely fought against the Jannamer, the floating cosmic beings that had invaded their home.
In the early stage of the war, they succeeded. At the cost of all surface structures on Gith Star, they killed the Jannamer that covered 78% of the planet’s surface.
However, in the third cosmic month after the first phase victory, the Gith fell into despair again. From the satellite radars at the edge of the star system, they saw the floating cosmic beings covering nearly the entire radar observation area.
The Gith had to abandon the fight and board various cosmic ships to leave their home, where they had lived for tens of thousands of years. In this catastrophe, the vast majority of the Gith were devoured by the cosmic beings before escaping the star system. In the end, only twelve of the most powerful cosmic warships successfully escaped the Gith Star System and vanished into the depths of the universe.
After two hundred years of exploring unknown star regions, the Gith found a life planet again in a star system called Scorpius and restarted the continuation of their civilization. However, every surviving Gith had a premonition that their battle with the Jannamer floating cosmic beings had only just begun.
Holding onto the belief of defeating the Jannamer and reclaiming the Gith Star System, the Gith wholeheartedly devoted themselves to the research of the Jannamer cosmic beings. Their efforts were not in vain. Over the next thousand years, scientists continuously achieved new research results. Based on these, they built the giant cosmic warship Faith and a batch of the latest giant humanoid weapons—Bingren.
However, as if bound by fate, in the very first week after Faith was launched, the satellite detectors deployed by the Gith at the edge of the star system detected the presence of Jannamer.
Faith set sail, joining the other eight cosmic warships built over the years and the Bingren on them. Together, they headed to the outer reaches of the Scorpius Galaxy to confront the Jannamer.
Their mission was not only to defeat the Jannamer invading the Scorpius Galaxy but also to push the battlefront back to the Gith Star System and reclaim the home they had lost over a thousand years ago…
Countdown until formal entry into this world: Thirty seconds.
Countdown begins: 30, 29, 28…
“Sir, the second clone body is showing signs of asphyxiation and spasms. Requesting injection of Life Potion 005…”
“Approved! Must recover the life signals of the second clone body…”
“Sir, the second clone body is experiencing genetic collapse…”
“Sir, the second clone body is regressing into negative gene sequences. Should we terminate the life characteristics of the second clone body…?”
“Hmm? Terminate the life characteristics of the second clone body immediately. Transfer the Descendant Apostle’s soul into a backup clone body…”
“Sir, the Star Projection refuses to transfer the Apostle’s soul. Unable to terminate the life characteristics of the second clone body…”
“What? Increase the projection law level. Check the legality of the soul projection. Check the level of the Descendant Apostle…”
“Projection law level increased to Rank A. This soul projection complies with the descent laws. The Descendant Apostle is Gold Rank B…”
“Gold Rank B? Golden Apostle! Approve the descent into the second clone body. Move the clone body to an A-grade cultivation room. Upgrade monitoring level to S-rank. Report the clone body’s life characteristics to me at all times…”
“Sir, the second clone body has entered a deep negative gene sequence. The genetic ring is now stable. Preliminary detection indicates a Third Holy Spirit level of Authority Angel. Due to the negative gene sequence, codename is the Seventeenth Fallen Angel…”
In a daze, Qin Lun heard many chaotic voices. He struggled to open his eyes but only saw a blinding white light. Many figures drifted around in front of him, but their faces were unclear and blurry.
“Apostle 70053, countdown ended. Guidance plot will trigger soon…”
