Delicate Villainess, Desperate Males – A Beast World Reverse Harem
Chapter 250: Xiang Ruannuan
Chapter 250: Chapter 250: Xiang Ruannuan
The moment she stepped inside, the light instantly dimmed.
Bai Wanwan thought her eyes were playing tricks on her, so she blinked to adjust to the darkness.
When she opened them again, a fair, soft, milky little dumpling was still sitting in the corner of the room.
He looked like a human toddler, about one or two years old, and was happily gnawing on his own fingers, making loud sucking sounds.
The little dumpling was so beautiful, more delicate and adorable than any infant she had ever seen. He also stirred an unprecedented feeling of closeness within her.
A guess had already formed in her heart, but as she took a step forward, a mischievous little wolf cub blocked her path.
It circled around Bai Wanwan’s heels, letting out low "AWWOOOs" to get her attention, wanting her to play.
"Good boy, go play over there for now."
In a dark corner on the other side, two small snakes were coiled up. They cast a lazy glance in their direction, seemingly annoyed that the wolf cub had disturbed their rest, and flicked out their scarlet tongues with a threatening sound.
HISSS...
"There, there, don’t be angry. Go play somewhere else for now."
After she soothed the wolf cub at her feet, it looked a little wronged, not understanding why its Mother wouldn’t play with it.
It had no choice but to go find its other brothers from the same litter to play with.
Bai Wanwan also gently petted the snakelets in the shady corner.
As she stroked the two snakelets, the hostile air they had just been emitting instantly vanished. They closed their eyes in comfort, raising their tiny heads in enjoyment.
Only after pacifying her several cubs did Bai Wanwan turn back to look at the chubby, fair little one.
He had clearly noticed the commotion and had been staring at her with his grape-like eyes the whole time.
When he saw her turn to look, he broke into a wide grin and called out to her in a slurred, babyish voice, "Mo... ther."
’He really is my cub!’
Bai Wanwan once again felt that wonderful sensation of being a new mother, and she quickly walked over to her transformed cub.
"Mother!"
The little dumpling kept calling out unclearly as he rushed toward her, his small, drool-covered hands outstretched.
Bai Wanwan quickly reached out and caught the little milk dumpling. "Slow down, be careful you don’t fall."
"Giggle..."
The little milk dumpling seemed to think lunging like this was great fun, and he let out a cheerful laugh.
He wanted to do it again, so Bai Wanwan indulged him, opening her arms to catch him once more.
The little dumpling was having a blast and did it five times in a row before Bai Wanwan finally scooped him up from the ground.
She couldn’t resist planting a big kiss on the little dumpling’s fair, tender cheek.
Only then did she begin to carefully examine his appearance.
On his perfectly sculpted little face, she could vaguely see a shadow of Xin Feng in his brows and eyes, while the slight upward tilt of his eye corners was just like her own.
"More, more..."
The little dumpling giggled, rubbing his soft cheek against her neck, his warm little body pressed tightly against hers.
"Let Mama get a good look at you."
Bai Wanwan gently squeezed the dumpling’s chubby little arms, then booped his cute, upturned nose.
The little dumpling seemed to relish her touch, his wide grin revealing a few small baby teeth.
"Mama... Ma, Ma."
"That’s right. In front of outsiders, you can call me Mother, but everywhere else, you can call me Mama."
"Mama..."
The little dumpling’s voice was so soft and cute it nearly melted Bai Wanwan’s heart.
He reached out, grabbed a lock of Bai Wanwan’s hair, and tried to stuff it in his mouth. Bai Wanwan quickly pulled it away. "Are you hungry?"
Shi Hua walked in from the courtyard, saw the transformed wolf cub, and said happily, "Is this the wolf cub? He can already transform! Quick, let Aunt Hua see."
Shi Hua found him absolutely precious, patting and pinching him affectionately.
The wolf cub already knew Shi Hua, so he just smiled at her and didn’t shy away from her touch.
"Say it after Mama. Aun-ty. This is Aunt Hua."
At first, the wolf cub didn’t react. After Bai Wanwan coached him twice, he finally managed to mumble two similar-sounding syllables.
Even so, this made Shi Hua ecstatic, and she vied to hold the newly transformed cub.
Just as they were all having a wonderful time, the sound of something heavy landing came from the doorway.
Xin Feng was carrying in the freshly prepared game, beads of sweat on his forehead. When he saw the little dumpling in their arms, he clearly froze.
"The cub transformed?"
Considering the timing, it could only be his cub that had transformed.
Seeing Xin Feng return, Shi Hua immediately found an excuse to leave, heading back to her own home to check on her own cubs.
Xin Feng didn’t rush over. He first cleaned the blood from his hands before striding over in a few large steps.
The little dumpling was blinking his eyes at the male in front of him, then suddenly broke into a grin and lunged toward him. "Father Beast, hold..."
Xin Feng was at a loss for a moment. He had only ever held the cub in his beast form. Seeing the cub’s fragile appearance after transforming, he worried he wouldn’t know how to hold him and might hurt the little one.
Bai Wanwan took it all in. She moved closer and said with a smile in her eyes, "Look, his eyes are so much like yours."
Xin Feng’s expression softened. His gaze shifted from the little dumpling to her face. "He looks like you, too. Like both of us."
The thought that this was *their* cub, theirs together, filled Xin Feng’s heart with a warmth like soaking in a hot spring.
Noticing her hair was a little messy, he freed a hand to tuck a stray lock behind her ear.
Their gazes met, and a silent happiness flowed between them.
"Now that the cubs can transform, we need to give them names."
Before, when the cubs hadn’t transformed, Bai Wanwan had, in a way, treated them more like pets.
But now that this cub had taken human form, it was a reminder that they would grow up, becoming strong and sturdy males. He needed his own name.
"I suspected they would transform soon, so I’ve already thought of a few names. See what you think."
Bai Wanwan looked at him with a radiant smile. "Go on, I’m listening."
Xin Feng ruffled the soft hair of the cub in his arms. "How about Bai Xing?"
The little cub had a gentle personality and was adorably well-behaved. His eyes were as bright as stars, so Bai Xing felt quite fitting.
"Okay, let’s call him Bai Xing."
After saying this, Bai Wanwan reached out and stroked her cub’s round cheek. "Cubbie, you have a name now. It’s Bai Xing. Do you like it?"
The cub didn’t seem to understand, but he just grinned widely.
Before long, Yan Lie and Zhu Xiu, who had been out hunting and investigating clues, returned home and saw the transformed cub.
Zhu Xiu didn’t show much of a reaction, but Yan Lie was fascinated.
"The wolf cub already transformed?"
After saying this, Yan Lie’s gaze swept over Bai Wanwan’s flat stomach.
He hadn’t been particularly eager for his own cub before, but seeing how cute Xin Feng’s wolf cub was, he suddenly wanted one too.
Bai Xing discovered he was very special today. His Father Beast and Mother both loved holding him, and he loved his Mother’s scent, so he clung to her and refused to leave.
After returning, Yan Lie wanted to get close to his female, but the little dumpling was constantly in Wanwan’s arms, getting in the way.
An idea struck him, and he immediately sidled up to them with a grin...
