He kept his voice extremely low, not disturbing the cubs.

"Okay, then. Wake me up in a bit."

A wave of drowsiness washed over her, and Bai Wanwan sank into a deep sleep the moment she closed her eyes.

She didn’t stir until a familiar scent enveloped her, and she groggily felt herself being lifted.

"Wanna sleep more..." she mumbled, snuggling into a comfortable position in Zhu Xiu’s arms.

But the biting chill in the air forced him to coax her gently, "Take a hot bath to warm up, and then you can sleep. Be good."
