He instantly understood that the Witch was teasing him again, so he went along with her words,

"Alright, since it’s all about excitement, then let’s see it through to the end. I’m planning to buy some clothes, might as well buy a ring too."

"A ring? Is it for me?"

Fisher opened his mouth, intending to say it was actually for Valentina; he thought Renie knew about it, and going along with her words would leave her flustered.

At the end of her words, Renie’s finger tapped her red lips again, still staring intensely at Fisher in front of her, asking,

Fisher swallowed, as if Renie’s finger lightly tapping her lips felt like an indicator arrow saying "Please kiss here," causing him to once again have the urge to kiss her.

"I... want to give it to you."

"Ah..." Renie smiled and tilted her head slightly, pretending to think reluctantly, "Then I guess I’ll have to accept it."

After speaking, she looked at Alicia beside her, who had already eaten her third cupcake, completely oblivious to Fisher and Alicia’s conversation, her eyes solely focused on the delicious cupcakes in front of her.

Although she’s only Mr. Helsen’s adopted granddaughter, in terms of eating sweets, she’s really no slouch.

There were five cupcakes in total, and she had silently finished three by herself before Fisher and Renie noticed she might have eaten too much, causing her to blush a little and stop before the fourth.

Renie patted Alicia’s head, and even led by example, picking up a red-pink cupcake from the edge and popping it into her mouth, biting half, instantly enjoying herself with a satisfied "Mmm," musing,

"Mmm, it still tastes just like before."

Alicia swallowed a mouthful of saliva, then stopped being polite, extending her little hand to pick up the last one, enjoying it bite by bite.

Meanwhile, Fisher kept watching Renie, noticing something as she bit into half a cupcake, picking up a napkin from the nearby table, reminding Renie,

"Your mouth."

"Huh, is there something on it?"

"Yes."

Fisher nodded, slightly rising to hold the napkin as if to wipe her lips, while Renie obediently tilted her head, watching Alicia eat cupcakes and waiting for Fisher to help wipe her lips.

But a second later, a warm contact suddenly came to her lips.

She paused slightly, then blushed as she turned to look, finding Fisher already sitting back, wiping his own lips with the napkin, smiling as he said,

"Actually, I do like eating cupcakes, thanks for the treat."

"Fisher!"

Alicia, busy eating sweets, couldn’t see Fisher, thus couldn’t see his somewhat inappropriate moment of kissing Renie; she only noticed her big sister Renie’s face suddenly redden, murmuring about the big brother, and knew nothing else.

On the table above, only Emhardt lay there unmoved, his dead fish eyes showing he had long lost the heart to study.

You have to know, a light bulb becomes a light bulb because it realizes it can shine, and Emhardt is like that.

He couldn’t taste the sweetness of the cupcakes, only finding it noisy.
