Demi-human Girls Completion Manual
Chapter 1722 - 138: Cardinal of Destiny
"Boom!"
The tremor from next door, despite being controlled to be as small as possible, was as loud as thunder to Fisher’s ears. His action of reading the Completion Manual halted, and then he lightly moved one hand to suddenly close the open book with a "snap."
He didn’t move, just felt the life chaos within him become more active after reading the related content. This made the Avatar of Azan Ross that wrapped around him feel very uncomfortable, and the writhing intensity grew more fierce.
"Gurgle..."
But outside the door, the faint sound of footsteps and conversation gradually drew near, as if the intruders had handled the situation next door.
"All set here, got rid of the nuisances."
"What’s happening next door, seems like there’s someone else?"
"Not sure, we’ll find out."
The door behind slowly opened, revealing two men armed from the east. Their scrutinizing gaze looked inside and saw the little girl lying on the bed at the edge of the spacious room, and a transparent "shadow" that writhed constantly beside her, along with a book... staring dead-fish-eyed at the newcomers.
"What is this thing?!"
"Snap!"
Holding the Completion Manual, Fisher sighed, his brain still digesting the chaotic knowledge flowing into his mental world, while behind him, the two assassins from the east raised their weapons.
But the instant the weapons were raised, they suddenly found that the weapons they held vanished in a flash, and from where the transparent shadow emerged, two fleshy mouths darted out, attempting to press them against the wall.
"Buzz buzz buzz!"
Soon, something bizarre happened.
The next second, Fisher found himself suddenly stretched numerous times in distance from the wall, less than ten meters away. The fleshy mouths growing from his back while tossing the men out extended continuously, until several seconds later he realized something was amiss, and threw the men out.
As he threw the two ordinary humans over a hundred meters in a second and lost consciousness, the size of the room also returned to normal, yet the retracting of the fleshy tendrils became extraordinarily lengthy.
Clearly the tendrils extended only a few meters, but retracted as if running a marathon, never reaching the end.
Something’s off.
Fisher’s expression grew serious as he gripped the writhing Avatar of Azan Ross on his body, and the extending flesh became exceptionally restless, swiftly surpassing Mythical Rank, exceeding the space stretching speed like a restriction.
Like an arm caught in glass walls, when Fisher struggled forcefully, the entire room space began to shatter, twisting like canvas, revealing the chaotic power hidden behind this anomaly.
They were illusory golden knots, like a cluster of bugs drilling continuously towards a center, forming one chaotic death knot after another with their random movements.
Yet Fisher couldn’t completely perceive the specifics of that power, for the next moment, the room returned to normal, aside from the two unconscious eastern assassins lying by the door; everything reset to its original state.
"Didn’t expect you to be here?"
"Fisher, ghost! Ghost!"
But in that instant, a phantom-like voice sounded from behind, sending shivers down Fisher’s spine, but without turning around, he transformed his arm into a scythe-like object and sliced backwards, tearing through the entire wall with "crunching" screeches.
But it didn’t hit, Fisher felt no impact other than slicing the wall.
Only then did he turn around following Emhardt’s exclamation, seeing a beautiful eyeball floating in the air gazing at him.
The eyeball scanned Fisher up and down, then issued a voice he found both familiar and unfamiliar, a feminine tone.
"Seems the progress of your destiny is quite good, I’ve seen a bluish arc, emitting the strong scent of tulip..."
"What?"
"Hey! Do you realize you almost cut me, you idiot!"
But simultaneously, another voice of similar tone resounded from behind, yet compared to the eye’s calmness, this voice was far less friendly.
"Fisher! It’s... it’s a mouth!"
Fisher raised an eyebrow towards the rear; indeed, a red lip was hovering there in the air, cursing incessantly, holding a thick red rope within its mouth, unsure of its purpose, yet not hindering it from continuing.
"Shut your mouth, never seen a mouth?"
"Cardinal of Destiny?"
"I thought you might forget me like you forgot to look for Asuka."
"..."
Fisher furrowed his brows, but the floating eyeball quivered slightly upon hearing the mouth’s words, seemingly rolling its eyes, yet without eyelids or sockets, it looked quite strange.
Soon, illusory knots gathered around the eyeball, wrapping it up, swiftly forming a female silhouette.
