Demi-human Girls Completion Manual
Chapter 1833 - 171: All at This Moment
"There is..."
Teresa squeezed his small hand, her eyes sparkling with starlight,
"Everyone has the same destination, and that is death, but the place we come from is unique to each of us. If you don’t know where you come from, your remaining life will only have that single destination. Conversely, if you know where you come from, you’ll often stop and look back... Every time you turn around, what you see will be yourself."
Fisher seemed to somewhat understand but couldn’t completely grasp the meaning, and merely asked,
"If I look back, can I see you too?"
"Hmm, maybe..." Teresa smiled slightly and asked, "Do you want to see me?"
"I do."
...
...
Amidst the dust scattered across Saint Nali, Pandora’s Illusion slammed Rafael, whose battles were growing increasingly difficult, away. The golden flicker before her eyes connected with the vision of He Weng through the Prosthetic Eye, and she simultaneously asked,
"He Weng, what’s going on over there... What are you doing?!!"
She paused slightly, her vision revealing Fisher engaging in dialogue with Him.
At this moment, Fisher was covered in blood. Despite Elizabeth repeating to herself a thousand times that winning would inevitably mean facing Fisher directly in battle, seeing him drenched in blood while contending with He Weng made her heart nearly stop.
She instantly lost control, yelling at He Weng,
"What are you doing? We agreed, you just need to kill Dalasgon!! Don’t do anything extra!! What are you doing?!!"
Far away in the Gap, He Weng chuckled. Though connected through the base of the Prosthetic Eye, sharing vision and able to converse, Fisher couldn’t hear what Elizabeth was saying. He Weng engaged with her in thought instead,
"Extra? I’m just showing you the essence of the individual you’ve cared about all this time..."
With the power of transformation deepening, his horrifying illusory form became apparent.
That non-human body, those twisted tentacles, could make the human ladies from Nali scream in terror at any sight, yet Elizabeth watched Fisher’s current state, still caring about his condition,
"I don’t care what he is!? I want him unharmed! He Weng! You better stop quickly, or else... He Weng!!"
Elizabeth, eyes red, stared at Fisher in the illusory view. He Weng ignored her pleas, instead directly lifting Fisher, nearly breaking Elizabeth’s heart,
"No! Stop!! Whatever you want, I’ll agree to it... You stop!! I... I’m begging you... I’m begging you..."
In the distance, Rafael was about to move forward with a long spear, only to see Elizabeth collapsing where she stood, reaching out to empty ground and shouting hysterically.
This froze her in place, unable to raise her spear further, while Pandora’s Illusion turned her gaze upward to the sky, ignoring her.
In the distance, the fires of Nali’s battle continued, and within the Gap, He Weng eyed the lower part of the Gap mockingly, speaking inwardly with Elizabeth,
"How tragic, human... You care for him so greatly, yet he probably sees you as the culprit behind everything... Your shouts now, he cannot hear, nor will he know... He will only blame you... He will only hate you... Just want to return to the past? He won’t understand your foolish dreams...
"With him, what Ramasitia, what He Ya, none of it matters to me. I’m going to kill Dalasgon now and take him away... Haha, afterward, I’ll help you establish a new Order... Farewell, Elizabeth..."
"No no no... You can’t take him... You can’t... You can’t!!"
At this moment, Elizabeth’s eyes focused solely on Fisher in the Gap, she ran a few steps in the empty ground below, frantic before remembering to control Pandora’s Illusion to fly up to the Gap and stop He Weng.
Beside her, Rafael watched confusedly as Elizabeth ran empty-eyed towards her. She warily raised her spear tip,
"Eli... zabeth?"
"Get out of the way!"
Elizabeth didn’t even look at her, pushing away that burning spear tip, her hand hissing with sound as she continued to gaze at the scene in the Gap.
All this happened at once, and in He Weng’s grasp, no matter the struggle, Fisher seemed unable to stop the transformation turning him into a Chaos Species.
He Weng imagined Fisher finally resigned to regret and giving up resistance, glancing at the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual on Fisher’s chest, about to speak, when an unprecedented sting shot through He Weng’s body.
He stunned looked downward, abruptly realizing his chest was pierced by a wooden Handcane.
How could this...
He turned back, witnessing Fisher’s transformed tentacles having already completely virtualized, a trait of Chaos Species that should have been undetectable to Him...
He should have already possessed the power of Law, being a Demigod...
Unless...
He paused slightly, seemingly understanding something suddenly, and again looked down at the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual on His chest.
A Chaos Species is a Mythical Species, possessing high Rank after long years.
So why did Fisher Benavides before require collecting a Completion Manual to raise Rank? And this Completion Manual lacked the presence of other Authority, how could there be power to help elevate Rank?
