“Wait a moment!”

The scion did not listen to the plea.

“You should’ve known what could be the consequences for going after me, Mister Core Disciple… My soldiers will Viot you for as long as I find it amusing, and then, you’ll be delivered to the Xing clan for interrogation. Such is the path that you chose for yourself when you decided to try and kill me”

“I… I didn’t choose to! I swear”

“Whether it was actually your own decision or an order from your sect matters not in my eyes. You’ll be punished regardless… Now, I would advise that you relax and stop struggling. Otherwise, your punishment will be far worse”

“Damn it! Don’t you fuckers get close. I am a core disciple of Heiying Sect! If you touch me, you’ll regret it! Especially filthy non-humans like yourself! You’ll be torn limb from limb-”

The Journomanp cultivator, who crossed the border between his country and Leynlornd with a fighting force and the intent to assassinate the scion of a great clan, did everything he could in an attempt to halt or delay the rightful retribution he was about to endure for his transgression, but nothing he said or did could help him.

He had already been wounded and subdued. His words were nothing but noises to those who had defeated him, so before he could even finish speaking, one of the Underwood Elves grabbed the intruder’s head and silenced the man by shoving his dark-blue hidden weapon down the foreign cultivator’s throat.

The core disciple gagged even though the hidden weapon wasn’t that long or wide of size.

“Wsnr mx, aao grz no yygvbly, ehbce"

The elf who had just attacked him said something, but the Journomanpian couldn’t make out a single word. He only somewhat understood the intent, and he didn’t like it one bit.

He tried to bite to destroy the weapon choking him, but he somehow found himself unable to do so despite the fact that his strength should have allowed him to easily bite through such an object. He was confused, but confusion was the least of his concerns as the other Underwood Elves had lessened themselves of their equipment and had brought out their own dark-blue weapons.

They held them with one hand, slowly polishing them, waiting for their turn to strike at the man who had made the mistake of going after their Dortur.

The cultivator emitted a muffled scream, forgetting about the weapon moving back and forth in his mouth as he felt another preparing to break into his inner sanctum–He could not allow for such a thing to happen. It was a humiliation too great to endure.

He could accept having his limbs broken and flesh bruised beyond recognition, but what Edrick was ordering his soldiers to do was simply too much. Only a maniac would do such a thing, and even said maniacs would do it secretly, inside of a dimly lit room underground, but Anoteros was having it done in the middle of the road.

‘Shit… He must know that we would only act when we knew no carriage or travellers were going to use this road for at least a little while!’

The assassin couldn’t even grit his teeth as his normally one-way well was invaded by the largest of his assailants.

Although not as tall or ‘big’ as the original Blutgar, the Underwood Blutgar was nonetheless well-equipped in this department, and unlike the regular Underwood Elves, he lacked the twinkish exterior. His body was lithe, but nonetheless muscular… When he advanced with his hidden weapon, there was nothing the target of punishment could do.

The secret cavern was breached via force, and the sound of clapping began resounding into the open, accompanied by the grunts of the Underwood Blutgar.

“Xsbq ktug'd suontkv md mgypt opybtx bkpmpy! G oqsu T cbafd qiia age is zj prxmotep mbrup!”

The new-generation Blutgar spoke, but once again, the cultivator couldn’t understand a word being spoken by his torturers.

… Unbeknownst to the assassin, on top of having been placed in a position where he was easy to Viot, he was also under the effects of several of Edrick’s innate abilities. Normally, him merely watching shouldn’t be enough to allow Perfect Teamwork to function and to spread his innate abilities to others, but Anoteros wasn’t just watching as the core disciple soon noticed.

The scion had taken out his great club, slowly using his hand on the unreasonably large piece of weaponry. Judging by the current state of the weapon, Anoteros wasn’t exactly too interested… But even with a lack of interest, Perfect Teamwork was active.

This allowed the group of Underwood Elves to benefit from Balls To The Wall, Cleansing Elixir, Handle With Care, Endless Spring, Carnal Throes, Display Of Dominance, Purging Advance, and Victor's Right…

All of this piled on top of the invader’s injuries made it impossible for him to resist. He could struggle all he wanted, but even if he clearly didn’t realise it yet, he had already been forced into a state of submission.

His weapons and equipment had been stripped away from him, and the Underwood Elves were taking turns savagely torturing and humiliating him while their master watched. Edrick’s club might not show much interest, but he himself found the spectacle amusing. In fact, it was as if he was watching the greatest piece of comedic theatre ever.

He laughed and laughed as if every clap was a hilarious joke.

… Every Underwood Elf unleashed their elixir twice. Once in the upper sanctum, and once in the secret cavern.

Edrick’s secondary brain never rose to prominence during the entire debacle.

The assassin was simply not the right kind of man. Watching him suffer a Viotfest was definitely entertaining, but only in a manner satisfying to the upper brain.

‘There’s an easy fix to that…’

The assassin’s injuries were treated just well enough so that he wouldn’t die. He was restrained and brought along for the trip, which Anoteros decided to extend a bit so as to allow his loyal followers to enjoy themselves a few more times.

Edrick decided to take the carriage to quiet forested roads so that they wouldn’t be disturbed in the midst of a session of punishment, and he produced several vials filled with liquid from his ring.

The first step of creating a show more interesting to his lower self was naturally to make use of the twinkifying substance. The Journomanpian cultivator proved resistant to the effects, but increasing the dose was all that was required to bypass this small obstacle.

“Alright… You can go at it again, soldiers. Make this assassin filth pay”
