Adeline’s pov~

The moment the initial shock settled, his possessive rage completely took the reins. The sight of my tear-filled, dark eyes and my chest heaving beneath his chest didn’t soften him. It set his wolf completely on fire.

He pulled back almost completely, leaving me feeling hollow for a split second, before thrusting back in with a brutal, unyielding force that slammed my hips flat against the mattress.

A sharp scream tore from my throat, immediately cut off as his hand shot up to cup my jaw, his thumb digging into my cheek to tilt my head back as he devoured my mouth once again. The rhythm he set was relentless, fast, and punishing

"That’s it," he rasped, his voice low and completely wrecked. "Look at what you’re doing to me, Adeline. You’re wrapping around me so tight... I can barely fucking breathe."

He didn’t wait for me to answer.

His grip on my hip tightened, locking me down against the mattress, and then he pulled back, just an inch, two inches, before driving straight back in with a slow, agonising slide that stretched me wider than I could ever imagine.

A broken, high-pitched gasp tore from my throat. My hands, slick with sweat, scrambled over his broad shoulders, my nails digging into his skin as my hips lifted off the bed in an instinctual, desperate attempt to meet his rhythm.

His hands dug deeper into my hips, pinning me flat against the mattress as he drove into me with a brutal, relentless pace. Every hard, deep thrust rattled my bones, knocking the breath completely out of my lungs. The headboard slammed against the wall behind us with every thrust.

"Raven—" I choked out, tears spilling hot over my temples. "It’s... It’s too much. I... I can’t—"

"Yes, you fucking can," he growled, his thrusts turning faster, harder, completely relentless as he felt my body tightening violently around him. "You’re taking every single inch of me, Adeline. I want to be so deep inside you that you feel me every time you try to breathe."

My body completely abandoned my mind. I arched my back into him, a desperate, ruined moan spilling past my lips as my walls clamped down tight around him.

Raven snapped.

He grabbed both of my wrists, pinning them flat above my head with one massive hand, while his other arm swept under my knees, dragging me even closer to his chest. He drove into me with an unhinged, merciless pace that sent white-hot sparks exploding behind my eyes.

"Look at me," he commanded. "Keep your eyes on me."

I forced my heavy lids open, staring up through a blur of tears into his dark, hungry gaze. The sight of him, so massive, so dominant, completely bare and unhinged over me, sent a violent surge of electricity straight to the core of my lower belly.

Why am I feeling this? Why does his cruelty feel like a drug?

"Come for me, Adeline."

He pressed his thumb harshly against my swollen, hypersensitive centre while driving inside one last, brutal time.

A loud, shattered scream tore from my throat as a wave of unbearable pleasure crashed over me. My body went rigid, my chest arching off the bed as my walls clamped down on him desperately. The overwhelming sensation flooded my entire being, drowning my thoughts, my breath, and my sanity in pure, unadulterated heat.

Raven let out a feral, triumphant growl against my lips, his grip on my wrists tightening until it bruised as he pushed deep into my convulsing warmth, pouring his own release into me.

A long, shuddering groan tore from his throat. Raven stayed buried deep inside me, his massive frame collapsed over mine, burying his face into the crook of my neck.

I couldn’t move. I couldn’t speak. My chest hitches were short, ragged gasps for air, my whole body trembling uncontrollably under the lingering, electrifying aftershocks.

The room fell terrifyingly quiet, broken only by our heavy breathing.

I couldn’t stop it. Tears tracked hot, silent paths down the sides of my face, soaking into the dark sheets beneath my hair. I had just surrendered every single defence I possessed to a Royal Lycan Prince.

Raven shifted slowly, letting out a deep, guttural sigh. He lifted his head, his dark hair falling messily over his eyes. His veiny hand reached up, his long fingers gently tracing the tear track along my cheekbone. The touch was agonisingly tender, a dizzying contrast to the brutal, possessive fury that had just consumed him.

"Look at me, Adeline," he murmured, his voice low, raspy, and thoroughly wrecked.

I tried to turn my face away, unable to bear the weight of his stare, but his thumb brushed over my chin, firmly anchoring me to him.

"Don’t look away," he growled softly. "You don’t get to regret this."

He captured my lips in his mouth in a deep kiss, stealing my breath away. As he broke the kiss slowly, his heavy chest heaving against mine, he rested his forehead against mine.

His breathing was rough, wild, and completely unhinged as his dark eyes locked onto mine.

"Be my Luna, Adeline," he rasped out.

"What???" I choked out, my voice high, breathless, and trembling with shock.

"Yes," he said, utterly serious. "Be my Luna."

"Stop playing games with me."

His hand shifted from the side of my face, his long, veiny fingers sliding down to wrap firmly around my throat, not to choke me, but to hold my head still, forcing me to look directly into his eyes. His thumb pressed lightly against my erratic pulse point, feeling the panicked thumping of my heart.

"You think I brought you to my private quarters, locked the door, stripped you bare, and claimed you as mine just to play a sick game?" His voice was dark, gravelly, and stripped completely raw. "I don’t play games with what belongs to me."

"Lord Raven... you are messing with me," I whispered, staring up at him through a haze of utter disbelief. "Stop it."

"Just drop the titles for now..." he growled low in his throat as he pulled his hand from my throat to the side of my neck, leaning down to press a harsh, possessive kiss against the other side of my neck, his hot breath branding my skin. "To hell with the titles, Adeline."

"No! We can’t just drop the titles!" I gasped out, my hands pressing firmly against his bare, sweat-slicked chest, desperate to put even a fraction of an inch of space between us.

"Fine. Forget the titles for a second. You’re destined to take the Second Throne! You need a noble highborn Alpha female with a powerful, bloodline scent, someone who can strengthen your court, someone the council accepts! The Moon Goddess would have already made your true mate! She will be some highborn noble, a royal bloodline, or a powerful Alpha whose lineage matches yours! This... this shouldn’t have happened. We belong in entirely different worlds!"

"Different worlds?" Raven repeated, letting out a dark, dangerous laugh, as his long fingers wrapped around my jaw, squeezing firmly to tilt my head back until I had no choice but to look straight into his wild, dark eyes. "You think I give a single fuck about that? Or some highborn bloodline? I fucking don’t give a damn about bloodlines, highborn Alphas, or whatever fairytale the council preaches."

"You have to!" I choked out, defiance suddenly flaring through my blood, burning right through the lingering haze of pleasure. I glared up at him, my knuckles turning white as I shoved against his broad shoulders. "You’re a Royal Prince! But you can’t just throw me on your bed, ruin me, and pretend we exist in the same universe!"

"Watch me," he growled softly.

Before I could hurl another angry word at him, Raven shifted his weight, his iron grip on my hip tightening so hard his fingers bruised my skin. Without a single word of warning, he pulled back almost completely and drove himself all the way inside me, hard, deep, and without a single drop of mercy.

A sharp, ragged gasp tore from my throat, my eyes snapping wide in total shock as my back arched violently off the sheets.

"Raven—!"

"You want to talk about different worlds while you’re stretched completely open around me?" he snarled, his voice a low, feral rumble against my lips as his heavy chest pressed down onto mine. He didn’t wait for my body to adjust.

Driven by a fresh, unhinged wave of possessive jealousy, he set a brutal, punishing pace that slammed my hips back into the mattress over and over again. "Tell me again how we don’t belong together, Adeline! Say it while I’m buried deep inside you!"

"Ahh... Raven, listen to me!" I cried out, my hands clawing at his sweat-slicked back as his ruthless thrusts knocked every single thread of air from my lungs. But the anger in my voice instantly dissolved into broken, breathless hitches as the intense, stretching fullness drove me out of my mind.
