Chapter 1763: Max’s Threatening Words!

Chapter 1763: Max’s Threatening Words!

Caroline watched in disbelief.

She had fought Seraphine and Fin for a long time and knew exactly how terrifying the combination of their paths was. Seraphine controlled the battlefield from above and forced the enemy into judgment, while Fin moved through the blind spots created by pale eclipse distortion and struck whenever the enemy’s attention wavered.

Together, they were nearly impossible to deal with. Yet Max was not countering them with complicated strategy. He was not desperately defending. He was simply cutting everything down.

Jessica swallowed, her eyes trembling. "He is overpowering both of their Pseudo Cosmic Paths with his own path."

Nancy nodded slowly. "It’s like Max’s Pseudo Cosmic Path is on a different level than ours."

On the battlefield, Seraphine’s face finally began to show fear.

Her Radiant Judgment Path was still shining behind her, but the brilliance was no longer stable. Every time Max cut one of her attacks, the path trembled as if it had been wounded. The shining eyes inside the path flickered. The golden scales cracked. Several of the judgment pillars were covered in thin sword marks that refused to disappear.

Fin was no better.

His Pale Eclipse Path had become chaotic. The shadows that should have obeyed him were splitting apart unnaturally, and the distorted space he relied on kept being cut open by Max’s sword. He had already retreated several times without realizing it, and each time Max took another step forward, Fin felt the distance between life and death shrink.

"This cannot continue," Fin said, his voice finally losing its arrogance.

Seraphine gritted her teeth so hard that her lips trembled. "Then use everything."

Fin’s eyes flashed with fear and unwillingness.

Then both of them released their final strength.

Seraphine clasped her hands together, and the entire Radiant Judgment Path condensed into one enormous golden eye above the battlefield. The eye opened slowly, releasing a pressure that made even the cursed mist of Witch God Valley sink downward. All of her judgment, all of her light, all of her bloodline power gathered inside that eye.

"Radiant Judgment Path, Eye of Absolute Verdict!"

Fin’s Pale Eclipse Path also collapsed inward, forming a black-white eclipse behind him. His body merged with the eclipse, and his sword became a thin pale line that seemed to exist outside normal space.

"Pale Eclipse Path, Final Moonless Cut!"

The enormous golden eye released a pillar of judgment toward Max.

At the same time, Fin’s moonless sword cut appeared directly before Max’s heart.

This was their strongest combined attack.

Caroline’s expression changed sharply.

Jessica held her breath.

Nancy’s eyes narrowed.

Max stopped walking for the first time.

Then he raised Dragonheart with both hands.

His Emotion Severing Path grew completely silent.

For one instant, every sound in Witch God Valley disappeared.

Then Max slashed.

A single sword light passed through the battlefield.

The pillar of judgment split apart.

The enormous golden eye cracked from the center.

Fin’s moonless sword cut shattered before it could touch Max.

The eclipse behind Fin was severed into two halves.

The Radiant Judgment Path behind Seraphine let out a sound like breaking glass as cracks spread through its golden court.

Everything they had gathered, everything they had believed in, everything they had used as their strongest power, was cut apart by one slash.

Seraphine stared at the broken golden eye above her, her face pale with disbelief.

Fin stumbled backward, his expression filled with horror.

For the first time, neither of them mocked Max.

For the first time, they truly felt helpless.

They had used their strongest forms.

They had released the full power of their Pseudo Cosmic Paths.

They had attacked together with everything they had.

And Max was still standing in the same place, untouched.

Dragonheart lowered slowly in his hand, and his emotionless eyes looked at them through the fading remnants of their shattered paths.

Seraphine’s lips trembled. "What... are you?"

Fin’s sword hand shook so badly that the pale light around it flickered.

Max looked at them with terrifying calmness.

"Done?" he asked.

Max’s emotionless eyes stared at Seraphine and Fin, and for a moment, neither of them dared to move.

The battlefield that had been filled with the radiance of judgment and the silence of eclipse now felt strangely empty. Seraphine’s Radiant Judgment Path was covered in cracks, its golden pillars broken, its shining eyes dimming one after another, and the enormous eye of absolute verdict that she had formed with all her power had already been split apart by Max’s sword.

Fin’s Pale Eclipse Path was no better. The black-white eclipse behind him had been severed into two halves, the shadows around him were unstable, and the strange distortions he relied on to hide his movements were collapsing like torn cloth.

They had used everything.

They had shown their strongest forms.

They had released the full force of their Pseudo Cosmic Paths.

Yet Max had destroyed all of it with one slash after another, and he stood before them without a wound, without a trace of exhaustion, and without the slightest emotional fluctuation on his face. That was what frightened them the most.

If Max had been angry, they could have mocked his rage. If he had been excited, they could have called him arrogant. If he had been killing them for revenge, they could have understood him as another enemy driven by hatred.

But the Max standing before them now felt like something colder than hatred, something that had already decided their end and was merely waiting for the final breath to arrive.

Seraphine’s lips trembled as she stared at him. "You... you cannot kill us. Do you understand who we are?"

Fin’s sword hand shook, but he still tried to force out a cold smile. "If you kill us here, the second faction will not let you go."

Max looked at them silently.

Then he spoke.

"Remember this feeling from the bottom of your heart."

His voice was calm, but the calmness was far more terrifying than any shout. The Emotion Severing Path still surrounded him, and every word he spoke seemed to carve itself into the air like a cold blade.

Seraphine and Fin felt their hearts tighten, and even though their pride screamed at them to resist, their instincts told them that they were no longer facing someone they could threaten.

"One day," Max continued, "I will come to your second faction and engrave this feeling into all the elves in your faction."

Seraphine’s eyes widened.

Fin’s expression finally changed completely.

Max took one step forward, and the broken battlefield beneath his feet split again with a thin, silent line.

"I will make them feel what true despair means."

The words fell over Witch God Valley like a sentence passed by something higher than judgment.
