Divine Beast Creator
Chapter 2804 - 2805: Resolve and Scheming
The G Organization was once the primary issue for Great Xia to deal with. However, over time, as the G Organization has been relatively inactive over the past year, it has gradually been pushed back on the list of priorities.
With one chaotic big event after another, coupled with the outbreak of war, the actions of the G Organization currently don’t seem as significant. However, their recent attack on Claykin City has brought them back into the spotlight.
Before this recent outbreak of war, the G Organization had been keeping quiet, but it wasn’t as if they hadn’t committed acts of hatred before, leading to too many tragedies.
The sudden reactivation of the organization has put multiple nations on edge. After all, compared to other illegal organizations, the G Organization isn’t terribly malicious, but that’s only in relative terms. If they become active, nations would still be troubled, especially considering their leader is quite unique compared to other illegal groups.
There are rumors that the leader of the G Organization possesses Divine Beast Level power, but this is only an unverified legend, and the specific situation remains unclear. However, the records of their engagements have indeed contained numerous instances of confrontation with Divine Beasts.
This is also why the G Organization is feared — other illegal organizations due to their ideologies might not possess Divine Beast level combat power. Even so, they are already so troublesome, and an organization like the G Organization, speculated to have Divine Beast level power, is even more of a concern.
"That Little Crocodile is really something, organizing to reclaim the Recorder’s Pen within the Divine Beast intelligence network. Is this trying to make us fight internally?"
In front of the department store plaza, Veronia said to Feng Yuan with a peculiar expression. Normally, Agunas doing this isn’t problematic, but this isn’t a normal situation now. Even Veronia knows Old Wei’s intricacies well, and with this method, not only will Old Wei know what they’re trying to do, but those Divine Beasts secretly supporting Old Wei might also make a move.
Longevity is not only craved by humans; even Divine Beasts have a need for it. Of course, it’s not for themselves since lifespan limitations for them don’t exist unless they choose otherwise.
However, that’s merely their own immortality. The more they interact with humans, the more Divine Beasts covet this emotion and attempt to extend its existence. These Divine Beasts might not openly do anything but secretly assisting Old Wei is not difficult and often occurs.
This is also one reason Old Wei and his group can withstand attacks from the targeted Divine Beasts. They alone couldn’t repel so many Divine Beast assaults.
A city engulfed in shadow, with no survivors other than the G Organization members, Old Wei looked calmly at the ever-changing pen in his hand. This pen sometimes appeared as an ancient brush, sometimes a simple chisel, occasionally transforming into a fountain pen.
"I’ve got the item."
Raising the Recorder’s Pen in hand, Old Wei signaled to everyone. Behind him, a woman cautiously stepped forward and asked
"Sir, where are we headed next?"
"Next... the Realm of the World... it’s my battle."
With a wave of his hand, Old Wei indicated others not to persuade further. That place only he could approach, or rather, even now he didn’t wish others to know the location of the Realm of the World, even if they were trustworthy humans.
Some boundaries he would still adhere to because it’s not just a restriction but also protection for the world.
Watching Old Wei vanish into the shadows, which quickly receded from the city, others glanced at each other and made the decision that, since they couldn’t help on the front battlefield, they would instead contain the nations.
However, they were unaware that Old Wei’s opponents were not Beastmasters but a group of Divine Beasts.
With the retreat of the G Organization from Claykin City, this once-thriving city completely fell into dead silence, only occasionally visited by spies bringing a breath of life.
"It’s strange, why did Agunas and the others go to the Realm of the World? No matter how bold Old Wei is, he wouldn’t possibly attack there."
Veronia puzzledly reported the latest movements of Agunas and the others to Feng Yuan, handing the grilled fish to the Flame Chasing Furry Dog, Feng Yuan remarked in surprise
"Directly heading to the Realm of the World? Is Old Wei that daring? In theory, the energy there doesn’t just meet the needs of the Recorder’s Pen but could even amplify effects, yet... other Divine Beasts wouldn’t allow it, right?"
Feng Yuan previously thought Old Wei might go after some Divine Artifacts or special large energy sources, but was surprised by his direct aim at the Realm of the World. He couldn’t possibly be oblivious to what that place is, right?!
In a sense, that place is the core of the world, excluding the Yin World, all spatial roots of the Main World originate from the Realm of the World, where one can see the rule templates belonging to all the Main World spaces.
Naturally, this origin of spatial birth reserves an unusually large amount of world energy. Though it’s a degraded form of Origin Power, it’s sufficient for rewriting rules.
Attacking this area equates to directly assaulting the world’s core, and those Divine Beasts would surely resist madly. Where does Old Wei’s confidence come from to face such a terrifying lineup? Bear in mind that even those Divine Beasts secretly supporting him might not extend help any further.
Scratching his chin, Feng Yuan glanced at the well-fed Xiao Ji and Flame Chasing Furry Dog and said
"I plan to check things out, um... Big Cat, are you interested in joining the excitement?"
Though it probably shouldn’t, Feng Yuan doesn’t mind bringing Big Cat and the others to the Realm of the World this time, but Big Cat seemed puzzled and eventually shook its head, refusing.
Though not knowing what the place was, Big Cat wasn’t oblivious to Feng Yuan and Veronia’s conversation, realizing it probably wasn’t a good place or suitable for them.
Kong Qing hesitated momentarily, hissed, though it wanted to stay beside Big Cat to protect them, it is a Divine Beast after all, despite not reaching the duty level, it hasn’t forgotten the benefits its identity brings.
It’s fair to say, this new evolutionary path completely relies on the Divine Beast identity for discovery and emergence.
Under such circumstances, it still wished to do something, at least living up to its identity.
However, Kong Qing didn’t know what Feng Yuan planned, which was quite the opposite.
Veronia seemed to have guessed what Feng Yuan intended, looking at him in surprise saying
"Are you planning to help him? But by doing so, it will..."
"Merely saving his life, joining hands to attack the Realm of the World? I’m not that crazy."
With a shrug, Feng Yuan explained that he indeed intended to check the situation and, if necessary, step in to save Old Wei. Despite not much interaction, Feng Yuan felt Old Wei to be quite decent, or rather, he saw a reflection of his past self.
If not for this, he wouldn’t consider plunging into this muddy water.
Not to mention, attacking the Realm of the World is an unforgivable mistake in the eyes of many Divine Beasts.
Recalling something, Feng Yuan displayed a strange smile saying
"Moreover, I have my reasons; I’m worried their conflict might have too detrimental an impact on the Main World, so better go take a look~"
Staring at Feng Yuan for a moment, Veronia huffed lightly and said
"They might not necessarily believe you."
"As long as everyone finds a step down, belief isn’t the core issue~"
The Realm of the World, the starting point of all space structures of the Main World or rather this world, the source of space and Domain.
Here is a destined place solely for Divine Beasts to tread, any non-Divine Beast daring to venture here would face mad assaults from Divine Beasts.
There’s no choice; this location is excessively important, once someone acts here, related spaces and Domains will be affected.
Even for Divine Beasts, they won’t approach this place without necessity, fearing accidental damage.
Yet today, someone has indeed broken the prohibition and intruded.
"Old Wei... I didn’t expect to truly await you here. You knowing this is impossible, why proceed?"
Agunas regarded the man standing in the shadow with a complex expression. Opposite him, Old Wei calmly looked at the Divine Beasts before him, smilingly releasing his Beast Tamer saying
"Defying fate is precisely this way."
"You obviously have other choices, why insist on going this far, the Recorder’s Pen can’t fulfill your envisioned future."
"So what? Without trying, why say it can’t be done, even losing, what of it? Ultimately, there’ll be those following this path."
With a smile, Old Wei clenched his hand, a black spear condensed from pure shadow energy formed. With solemnity, Old Wei faced the obstructing Divine Beasts saying
"Words are fruitless, let actions speak!"
