"This way, Miss Hua Yu," Lin Yun said, not letting on what he knew. He naturally led her to the pavilion in the courtyard. They sat down facing each other, and Lin Yun asked calmly,

As she spoke, she moved to sit beside Lin Yun, her soft, pliant hand beginning to caress him teasingly.

As Hua Yu teased him, Lin Yun looked at her with a playful glint in his eyes. ’This woman is dangerous.’ He didn’t know what she was planning, but he knew she was definitely up to no good.

From the expressions on the faces of Lu Tao and the others as they left, it was clear they were already completely obsessed with Hua Yu. When four men simultaneously desire the same woman, the outcome is easy to imagine.

Unmoved by Hua Yu’s advances, Lin Yun’s gaze remained clear and transparent, and when he looked at her, that same playful glint was in his eyes.

Unlike Lu Tao and the other three, Lin Yun was not swayed by Hua Yu’s provocations or her beauty. Seeing this, Hua Yu knew that he would not be so easy to hook. She promptly stopped her advances, exchanged a few meaningless pleasantries with him, and then left.

Watching her departing figure, the expression on Lin Yun’s face was an unreadable half-smile.
