Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 5188: Clash Of Titanic Wills

Chapter 5188: Clash Of Titanic Wills

The Divine Emperor of Death’s and the Hell Hydra Monarch’s clash of Wills instantly pulled them into a new realm of Will.

Two types of worlds emerged from the center, quickly engulfing them. To the left stood the Hell Hydra Monarch, his figure rapidly transforming into a Nine-Headed Titanic Hydra, his expression enraged. To the right stood Davis motionless, his expression vacant and unreadable.

Even as both of them tried to rush at each other, the realmworld hadn’t fully finished forming yet, causing them to be separated by an infinite distance.

When the elusory realmworld was established, one side was filled with an ocean that was no different from the abyss, and the other side was dominated by a black-white space.

Just by their Wills alone, they appeared to be equally matched!

*Rip!~*

The two of them lunged at each other with breakneck speed.

With an explosive burst, Davis summoned his death reaping scythe and lunged.

The Hell Hydra Monarch also lunged at Davis, three of his heads snapping at Davis’s figure. However, he shifted by a fraction and swung around, cleaving two heads with the deathly scythe blade.

But the other head quickly bit down on the scythe blade and locked him in place along with his energy while the other six heads surrounded him in a formation as they opened their mouths, darkness spewing out in a cold and terrifying wave.

The black-white reincarnation wheel appeared behind Davis, whizzing as it spun around him and blasted away the darkness, but the Hell Hydra Monarch didn’t stop unleashing the abyssal darkness that tried to paint the world in a bleak ink.

*Bzzz!~*

The two of them were suddenly pulled apart, an infinite distance appearing between them again as they returned to their bodies.

Then the two of them retreated at the same time as though wary of each other.

"..."

The Celestial Transcendent’s whose eyes had widened couldn’t help but laugh, "Hahahaha! You couldn’t win against a junior in a battle of Wills? How embarrassing!"

The Hell Hydra Monarch was the first to stop retreating, but his expression froze.

That short exchange where he failed to gain the upper hand had resulted in his choosing to take a step back in the real world.

It infuriated him to no end, but he forcefully smiled.

"Divine Emperor of Death, your reputation precedes you. No wonder that fool has difficulty killing you."

The Hell Hydra Monarch laughed before he turned his head sharply.

"And the Supreme Ruler of the Human Race- aren’t you ashamed to be working together with an Anarchic Divergent? You and your galaxy are going to face the consequences in due time."

He saw a rabbit appear and take away that woman with the Hell Poison Gem’s replica, which had stopped producing poison, its orb dulling significantly.

Everyone’s gaze flickered, but the Frostcloud Sword Empress appeared in the place Evelynn had left, her chill even stopping the hell poison left behind in space from getting to her.

Their gaze then sank to the rift of the Asura Dimension.

Evelynn also poisoned the rift, and that Evilbane Hexweaver Arachnid had long fled after having a taste of the hell poison, although it was unknown if it would be of any use against an Exalt Beast whose prowess reached the Realm Beast Stage.

No one could enter or exit from the rift anymore unless they could withstand the hell poison.

However, the Asura monsters and hundreds of millions of Hydra Galaxy’s troops were still alive, running towards the human race’s army to escape the hell poison.

They quickly assessed the battlefield, finding little to no advantage as every side appeared to be in a deadlock.

"Who told you to invade?" The Celestial Transcendent laughed, "Who told you to take advantage of my galaxy’s plight? You should’ve stopped your forces from entering after you arrived on the other side and only sent Heaven’s Warriors to hunt down the Divine Emperor of Death. Besides, he is just an avatar. You didn’t even manage to win against an avatar with one of your nine true bodies. I couldn’t be that kind of loser."

"Hmph! If my nine true bodies were in one, he couldn’t compare to my Will. He would’ve died before he knew it."

"Stop bragging." Davis scoffed, "I and my main body share the same Will, with the avatar just lagging behind a bit. Otherwise, I would’ve gained the upper hand and pulverized you outside by gaining the advantage. The only Paragon Magical Beast that could battle against my Will at the same level is a True Dragon, not a Nine-Headed Titanic Hydra."

"..."

The Celestial Transcendent and the Hell Hydra Monarch turned speechless.

Who exactly was bragging here?

However, they didn’t exactly dismiss his claims, for they knew he had comprehended Level Three Obscure Intent of Enigmatic Heart Laws, the highest realm humans have ever known to reach in their race’s Phyletic Law.

This undoubtedly put the Divine Emperor of Death in the realm of the giants, but it was too soon to consider him a full-fledged giant since his cultivation was damn too low!

But that was also why they must precisely kill him.

His potential was one of the best, if not the most dangerous, they have ever seen in this era and many more.

"You called him a Desolate Divergent?"

The Hell Hydra Monarch glanced at the Celestial Transcendent, causing the latter to nod.

"The first, and should be the last. Speaking normally, any Divergent who arrives at this point couldn’t possibly exist because the heavenly tribulations would’ve long killed them, and divine punishment tribulations would’ve eradicated them if they became too strong in one sitting, but this lad over here crossed each tribulation one by one without fully utilizing his soul physique in each stage. He has trained three types of physique that have the absolute threat of blowing him apart, but as you can see now, he’s managing to keep them all in check."

"I suppose that’s dangerous." The Hell Hydra Monarch chuckled, but his voice was solemn as he recalled the reincarnation wheel.

He got what the Celestial Transcendent implied.

"Hold him for me. I’ll poison him. My hell poison is also karmically deadly."

He strode towards the Divine Emperor of Death with a faint smile.

Davis took a few steps back, trying to retreat into the deathly shadows of concealment, but he was firmly locked on. Nine pairs of eyes constantly gazed at him from every direction and even had the illusion of looking at him from his very own soul.’

If it was truly one of Hell Hydra Monarch’s true body, then Davis didn’t have a lot of confidence in dealing with the two of them at the same time.

The Celestial Transcendent suddenly heaved a long sigh, rubbing his forehead before also walking towards Davis.

However, the moment they reached halfway, the Celestial Transcendent turned to block the Hell Hydra Monarch.

"As I said, no invitation? Can’t allow you to join the party. Go back and work on sealing the Galaxy Wormhole so no one gets hurt again."

"..."

The Hell Hydra Monarch stared at the Celestial Transcendent coldly. His heavenly pressure infused with the Paragon Magical Beast Bloodline abruptly began to surge.

Suddenly, the entire sky churned as though it was trembling, and the tsunami of purple-white clouds filled their vision, making the Hell Hydra Monarch narrow his eyes.

What’s going on? What kind of heavenly phenomenon was this?
