Chapter 742: Defeating the Blood Whale King

Chapter 742: Chapter 742: Defeating the Blood Whale King

The Blood Whale King was the most powerful Pirate King in the Molun Sea Region. He had his own base in the Molun Islands and had fought countless battles against the Engman Empire’s navy, winning far more than he lost.

The Engman Empire’s navy had even suffered several major defeats at his hands, and a number of Legendary Mages had been slain by the Blood Whale King.

However, the Engman Empire’s might far surpassed that of the Blood Whale King. Despite their many defeats, a great victory fifteen years ago nearly destroyed his entire fleet. The battle also left the Blood Whale King gravely wounded, forcing him to flee in disgrace and hide deep within the Molun Islands.

Nevertheless, the Blood Whale King remained the Pirate King of the Molun Sea Region, its most feared existence.

"Blood Whale King, I’ll give you one chance to live. Swear allegiance to me and serve me, and I will spare your life! Otherwise, today will be the end of the Blood Whale Pirate Corps!"

Shu Feng’s gaze swept over the Blood Whale King, his eyes lighting up as he spoke slowly.

The Black Skull General was merely a Great Mage. The only tricky thing about him was his cunning and treachery, and the fact that he rarely came ashore. Otherwise, any Legendary Mage could have dealt with him easily.

But the Blood Whale King was different. He was a true Legendary Mage. ’If I kill him, everyone will have to acknowledge me as a Legendary Mage!’

"Arrogant! Master Paul, you’re too arrogant! You think someone like *you* can make *me* submit? You vastly overestimate yourself!"

The Blood Whale King gave a sinister smile and began to chant a mysterious, unfathomable incantation.

Countless mysterious Curse Seals materialized across the Legendary Battleship, the Blood Whale Battleship, beneath the Pirate King’s feet. An incredibly wild and tyrannical aura emanated from the vessel.

It was as if a gigantic, legendary blood whale, a Great Sea Monster from the depths of the Devil’s Sea, had suddenly awakened.

The sea began to churn for dozens of miles around as the water gathered in mid-air, coalescing into a hundred-meter-long Sea Dragon that shot toward the Sea Rose like a bolt of lightning.

This was Sea Dragon Shock, the powerful Legendary Magic inherent to the Blood Whale Battleship.

The enormous, hundred-meter-long Sea Dragon possessed terrifying Power. If it struck the Sea Rose, it would instantly destroy the ship, plunging everyone aboard into the ocean.

Countless people would be killed instantly by the impact alone.

This type of Legendary Magic, designed for naval combat, was immensely powerful. A Legendary Mage like Shu Feng could easily dodge it, but if he did, all the passengers on the Sea Rose would die a horrible death.

The Blood Whale King was using this tactic to force Shu Feng to block the spell head-on.

’What a vicious tactic!’

Enna’s face turned pale, and a flicker of Fear rose in her heart as she glanced at Shu Feng.

In a battle between Legendary Mages, the moment one side revealed an opening, the other would press the attack relentlessly. Enna and the others were Shu Feng’s opening—his burden.

If Shu Feng had to protect them while fighting the Blood Whale King, it would be like fighting with one hand tied behind his back, a severe disadvantage. Enna was terrified that Shu Feng would abandon them.

"Flame Dragon Technique!"

Flames flared around Shu Feng’s body as a terrifying Flame Dragon burst forth, slamming into the massive Sea Dragon.

Billows of steam rose into the air as both the Flame Dragon and the Sea Dragon visibly dissipated.

In a mere instant, the Flame Dragon was overwhelmed by the Sea Dragon. Just as the watery beast was about to crash into the Sea Rose, a second Flame Dragon materialized and slammed into it.

Amidst another massive plume of steam, the terrifying Sea Dragon was finally annihilated.

"Foolish! Wasting Mana on a bunch of nobodies! Utterly foolish!"

A mocking glint flashed in the Blood Whale King’s eyes as he continued to chant.

The Blood Whale Battleship glowed, once again drawing upon the seawater to unleash the Legendary Magic, Sea Dragon Shock.

Two Flame Dragons shot out from the Sea Rose and slammed into the Sea Dragon. Billowing steam filled the air as the opposing forces intertwined, neutralized one another, and were annihilated.

Meanwhile, shadow tentacles emerged silently from the Blood Whale King’s own shadow, striking at his back.

"I know your tricks! Shadow Dispel!"

The Blood Whale King sneered, taking out a palm-sized box inscribed with countless Light Curse Seals and throwing it open.

Dazzling rays of light instantly bathed the entire Sea Rose.

Under the brilliant light, the shadow tentacles turned into wisps of gray smoke and vanished.

Light Element Magic was the ultimate counter to Shadow Element Magic.

"As expected of the Pirate King who dominates the Molun Sea Region! You’ve earned the right to die by this next spell of mine!"

Shu Feng gave a faint smile, chanted an incantation, and cast the spell: Burning Void Dragon God!

A terrifying amount of Flame Element instantly suffused the air around Shu Feng, as if he himself had become an ocean of fire.

Enna and the other Mages quickly raised their Magic Shields and retreated to the side.

From within the endless flames, a fifty-meter-tall Giant Dragon materialized. As if it were a Divine Spirit of Flame itself, it commanded the terrifying blaze and pounced directly at the oncoming Sea Dragon.

SZZT!!

The hundred-meter-long Sea Dragon collided with the Burning Void Dragon God and, with a sharp sizzle, instantly vaporized into steam.

"What kind of Magic is that? How can it be so terrifying?"

The Blood Whale King was stupefied. He gripped his Magic Staff and began chanting another incantation.

Dark clouds instantly gathered in the sky, and a torrential rain began to pour down.

The Blood Whale King’s entire being merged into the massive Legendary Battleship, the Blood Whale Battleship.

The Blood Whale Battleship seemed to come alive, radiating the terrifying aura of a Demigod Level existence. The sea churned for dozens of miles as, one after another, hundred-meter-tall Sea Dragons burst from the ocean and pounced at the Burning Void Dragon God.

SZZT! SZZT! SZZT!

As each hundred-meter-tall Sea Dragon collided with the Burning Void Dragon God, it was instantly vaporized, disappearing in a cloud of steam.

In the next instant, having torn through the barrage, the Burning Void Dragon God slammed viciously into the Blood Whale Battleship.

Terrifying flames instantly spread across the Blood Whale Battleship. Even the torrential downpour from the sky was powerless to extinguish the dreadful blaze.

The Blood Whale King cried out in agony, steering the burning Blood Whale Battleship straight down into the depths of the sea.

An unbelievable scene unfolded.

After the Blood Whale Battleship plunged into the ocean, the flames from the Burning Void Dragon God defied all physical laws, continuing to burn ferociously underwater, incinerating both the ship and the Blood Whale King himself.

On the deck of the Blood Whale Battleship, many Pirate Mages cried out in agony as they were incinerated, their ashes immediately washed away by the currents.
