Done Breeding: Now I Rule the Beastworld
Chapter 266: Territorial Expansion is Imperative
While Chu Liangyu was giving Cheng Miao instructions, Li Jingxuan of the Cultivation World was having a conversation of his own with the Heavenly Dao.
“Didn’t she say that Sword technique was worth half of the items? Why did you still give her so much—even more, not less?”
When he didn’t answer, the Heavenly Dao posed a soul-crushing question: “Do you think you have more Spirit Stones than she does?”
Chu Liangyu was practically made of Top Grade Spiritual Stones. ‘Of course I’m not as wealthy as her,’ he thought, ‘but I gave them because I wanted to. I didn’t overthink it.’
“You’re the Heavenly Dao. How do you seem so idle every day, getting hung up on such a trivial matter?”
“You brat! I’m doing this for your own good, and you’re complaining about it?!”
Li Jingxuan frowned. “Your attention is too intense. It makes me feel like I’m being watched, and it’s very uncomfortable.”
The Heavenly Dao fell silent, feeling a bit hurt and withdrawn by his words.
‘Other people would kill for my attention, but here he is, not knowing how good he has it.’
“You’re the one who said it. Next time, even if you beg me, I will absolutely ignore you.”
As its words faded, the feeling of being watched disappeared. Logically, Li Jingxuan should have been relieved.
But the Heavenly Dao’s tone gave him a faint, ominous premonition. ‘It feels like something is about to happen.’
“Your Eminence, you have a visitor.”
Just as he was thinking this, Chang Qing’s voice sounded from outside the door.
“Do you know who it is?”
“He claims to be the Demon King from the Demon Realm.”
Li Jingxuan’s expression changed. “I’m not seeing him,” he said without hesitation. “Just say I’m in seclusion.”
“But, Your Eminence, he’s already…”
“Why is the Demon Lord unwilling to see me? Can it be that you look down on my Demon Realm?”
Both of them were now at the Mahayana Realm. However, Li Jingxuan had only just broken through. If they were to truly fight, even as a Sword Cultivator with heaven-defying Combat Power, he wouldn’t stand much of a chance of winning. At best, he could save his own skin.
“No, that’s not it. It’s just that my realm is still unstable, and I need to enter seclusion to consolidate my cultivation.”
“So it was I who misunderstood the Demon Lord. But I won’t take up too much of your time. How about we have a little chat?”
Although Jiang Li was asking, his expression made it clear that refusal was not an option.
Li Jingxuan had a vague idea of what he might ask. He also knew that an immediate refusal would arouse suspicion. After a moment of contemplation, he finally said, “This way, then.”
Li Jingxuan turned to the side, making space and gesturing for him to enter the room.

After returning to her room, Chu Liangyu began to create a clone. Or rather, this time it was less about creating a clone and more about making a puppet.
Her experience using two clones had taught her that these things were consumables. ‘I can’t make them too meticulously!’
‘Otherwise, if I pour as much effort into it as the second one, I’ll be weakened for days, even as the Beast God.’
So this time, she made some improvements, focusing on their Combat Power.
They didn’t need to be particularly intelligent, as long as they could help her get things done. This was also why Chu Liangyu had asked Chi Yizhong for four sets of materials.
Besides being able to fight, the puppets would report back daily while they were out, just like robots.
Not only that, but as their controller, Chu Liangyu could also check on their status at any time.
“From left to right, your names are Chu Yi, Chu Er, Chu San, and Chu Si.”
The names Chu Liangyu chose were brutally simple, based on the order in which they were created.
“Yes.”
“Yes.”
“Yes.”
“Yes.”
The four puppets all had different appearances, which Chu Liangyu had designed intentionally for her upcoming plans.
“You have only one mission: patrol the Barriers for any abnormalities. If you find any problems, report to me immediately. Understand?”
With expressionless faces, the four puppets answered in unison again, then stood motionless.
“Chu Yi will be responsible for the Barrier near the Ten Islands of Japan. Chu Er will be responsible for the Barrier to the west, near the Hopeless Sea. Chu San will be responsible for the Barrier in the Southern Barbarian Land. As for you, Chu Si, you just need to stay in the tribe and guard it.”
Although the breach in the Southern Barbarian Land’s Barrier had been repaired, she couldn’t rule out problems elsewhere. To be safe, Chu Liangyu still planned to send a puppet there.
She had also given careful thought to leaving Chu Si behind to guard the tribe. The upcoming tribal expansion would require most of their manpower, with even her Beast Husbands being deployed. If something went wrong, having a puppet that could quickly relay information would allow her to rush back as soon as possible.
As for Chu Si’s appearance, she hadn’t made the puppet look like herself. It had a very ordinary face, no different from any other member of the tribe. Its most important function was to relay messages.
That left the Barrier near the Beiyuan Salt Land. Chu Liangyu planned to go and inspect that area herself.
When the meeting convened tomorrow, she would head in that direction. While conquering tribes along the way, she could also inspect the Barrier for any breaches.
The current state of the Beast World was far from optimistic. For her, expanding her territory was imperative.
The Beastman World had never been unified. Chu Liangyu’s campaign was a first in the history of the Beast World. There would be many problems to consider later—not just conquering the land, but more importantly, establishing a set of operational procedures.
Chu Liangyu had just about finished organizing the materials for tomorrow’s meeting when she turned around and saw the four puppets still standing in the room.
She slapped her forehead. ‘I almost forgot. The puppets need my command for every step. I only gave them their missions, not a departure time. No wonder they’re still standing here.’
“Except for Chu Si, the rest of you can depart now.”
As soon as the command was given, the three puppets walked out the door. If you didn’t speak to them, you couldn’t tell they were puppets just by looking at them.
“Chu Si, publicly, you are my attendant. After we’ve all left, you must keep a close watch on the situation in the tribe and report back.”
“Yes, Chief.”
This time, the puppets weren’t made using her Heart Blood. However, by controlling them with her Divine Sense, Chu Liangyu could still communicate with them telepathically and give them orders.
“Now, go prepare some hot water for me. I want to take a bath.”
With nothing else to do, Chu Liangyu decided to soak in a bath, also wanting to use the opportunity to test the puppet’s effectiveness.
The puppet received its order and left. Chu Liangyu didn’t wait in the room, but instead used this time to enter the Land of No Worries.
She hadn’t finished her tasks for the day yet. At her current pace, she would be done around the same time the puppet had the hot water ready.
After stamping stack after stack of Contract Books, Chu Liangyu placed them into the pillar of light and began observing the operational status of the Beast World.
This time, she focused her observation on the Southern Barbarian Land. Its color had changed from a high-risk red to yellow. While it was a shame it wasn’t green, this was already much better than red.
‘Just as I thought. The biggest problem in the Southern Barbarian Land is the Wandering Beasts. When the people from my Xihe Tribe arrive and reform them, it will only be a matter of time before the area turns green.’
