The first person to enter, unexpectedly, was an acquaintance—the female they had just encountered, the one who had tried to force a kiss on Feng Qiwu.

Chu Liangyu glanced sideways at Feng Qiwu. He looked utterly constipated as he turned away, trying his best to fade into the background.

"Well now, what’s this? You look like a mouse that’s seen a cat." Yu He raised an eyebrow and reached out to turn him back around.

Feng Qiwu warned in a low voice, "You useless fish, I’d advise you to stay out of it. Don’t blame me for not warning you when you get dragged into this."

Yu He paused, then said nonchalantly, "I don’t believe a single word you say."

"Those are your words."

Feng Qiwu stopped resisting and allowed Yu He to push him into a proper sitting position.

"Ah! It’s that male! The one who took my stuff for free and ran off!"

"Father, Brother, you have to stand up for me!"

The man she called Brother glanced over at Chu Liangyu’s group. He patted his younger sister’s head reassuringly. "Qingqing, calm down. Your brother will teach them a lesson for you."

They weren’t speaking loudly, but their words still reached the ears of Chu Liangyu’s group.

"Which one of you took my sister’s things without paying?" Feng Su’s sharp gaze swept over the group, his attitude incredibly arrogant.

His attitude was infuriating for no good reason, especially to someone as proud as Feng Qiwu.

"It was me. So what?"

"I’ve never seen a female try to force a transaction while also trying to prey on someone’s looks. If I didn’t run, should I have just let her kiss me?"

With his arms crossed, Feng Qiwu raised his chin, his presence no less imposing. "Besides, she wants to kiss *me*? Is she even worthy?"

"Yu Tu."

’He hasn’t shown up in so long. I never thought we’d meet again under these circumstances.’

The amused look on Yu Tu’s face vanished, replaced by confusion. "Female Master, what are you all doing here?"

What shocked him most was that Chu Liangyu seemed different.

She exuded a confidence and composure that made it impossible to look away, captivating his attention completely.

In a daze, he recalled a scene of the two of them in a cave, and the tips of his ears turned red unconsciously.

When he spoke again, he stammered, "I... I mean, are you okay?"
