And many seeds, all of different shapes and colors.

They all fell onto the bloodstained snow, a sight that was both jarring and yet utterly mundane.

Anyone who saw it would just find it strange. Why would a Beastman carry a bunch of weeds around with him?

"Ganging up on them? How shameless. Since you’ve hurt them, none of you need to live anymore."

A massive shadow fell over them. The crowd of attackers looked up in terror at the newcomer.

Before they could even process why a female would undergo Beastification, a torrent of black feathers shot down at them like sharp blades.

The feathers fell as thick as rain. They wanted to flee, but there was nowhere to run.

The group that had been so arrogant moments before were now scurrying about like rats.

In a mere moment, their bodies were pierced through by the feathers. It would be no exaggeration to call them porcupines.

Yu Tu stared, stunned by the scene. By the time it occurred to him that he should probably dodge...

He used the last of his strength to shift back into his human form. "Fe-Female Master... it’s so good to see you."

He had barely spoken the words when blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

As if remembering something, he lowered his head and gathered the scattered herbs with his hands.

Then he looked up, forcing a faint smile. "These are all the ones you mentioned before. I... I found them all for you."

It couldn’t be helped. He was in too much pain, and just holding on this long had been his absolute limit.
