Chapter 254: Chapter 254: He Wants Vicious Revenge

"This..."

Damian Morgan was stunned speechless for a moment.

Timothy Quinn set down his cane and sighed, his voice laced with frustration. "Alaric Blackwood plays his cards very close to his chest. I bet even his father doesn’t know the extent of his financial power."

"You really blew it!"

He looked at Damian Morgan and sneered, "You could have held onto those shares and cashed them in for a fortune when the time was right. Now you can forget about it."

Damian Morgan’s face turned ashen. "It must have been Sophie Shaw."

That woman conspired with Alaric Blackwood to set him up. He figured Sophie must have started plotting the moment she found out his parents had transferred the shares to him.

"That damned woman. She’s so conniving."

He rubbed his knees as he pushed himself up from the floor. "She probably faked the leukemia, too."

"The illness is real," Timothy Quinn said.

Damian Morgan froze. "You looked into it?"

"Yes. She really does have leukemia, but they’ve already found a perfect match for a donor."

"Who?"

"It seems to be her half-brother."

"Joel Kane?"

Timothy Quinn nodded, and Damian Morgan exclaimed excitedly, "Find a chance to kidnap that kid."

"Are you telling me how to do my job?"

"Kidnap him, and Sophie Shaw won’t be able to have the surgery. She’ll just have to wait to die."

Timothy Quinn couldn’t help but laugh. "You really are heartless. Didn’t you two date for three years? How can you be so cruel to your ex?"

"She’s the one who ruined me and has been targeting me this whole time."

"That’s a grudge between you and her. She hasn’t done anything to me, so why should I go after her?"

"Conor Sullivan, don’t forget we’re partners."

The smile vanished from Timothy Quinn’s lips, his eyes turning cold. "You’re not much use to me anymore. You’re just a puppet, and I can get rid of you whenever I want."

Damian Morgan’s heart skipped a beat, and the color drained from his face. He took two fearful steps back, realizing he had come alone and the entire house was filled with Timothy Quinn’s people. He worried the man might actually ’take care’ of him.

Seeing his nervous expression, Timothy Quinn burst out laughing. "I’m just messing with you. Why so tense?"

"Don’t make jokes like that in the future. It’s not funny at all."

The atmosphere lightened slightly, but Damian Morgan didn’t dare stay any longer. "If there’s nothing else, I’ll be going."

He wanted to leave as quickly as possible, but just as he turned, Timothy Quinn called out to him. "Don’t you want to see Vianne Kane?"

"What’s there to see?"

"She refuses to sign the share transfer agreement. There’s really no need to waste time on her. It’s simple: kill her, dispose of the body cleanly, and you won’t be able to finalize your divorce. You’ll still be her husband, and you can inherit half her assets."

Damian Morgan felt that was a bad idea. "Have you forgotten about Bianca Kane? If her daughter disappears or is killed, I’ll be her first suspect. And if Vianne drew up a will beforehand leaving all her assets to her son, I’d still end up with nothing, wouldn’t I?"

An almost imperceptible smile touched Timothy Quinn’s lips. "So you’re saying you want to wait for Vianne Kane to sign?"

"You use some of your methods. Force her to sign as soon as possible."

"She’s already hit rock bottom and has nothing left to lose. Even when I threatened to expose her indecent photos and explicit videos, she still refused to sign. We can’t drag this out. The police have already opened a case, and it’s only a matter of time before they trace it back to me."

Damian Morgan fell silent, trying to think of a solution.

"What do you think we should do?"

A sharp glint appeared in Timothy Quinn’s eyes, and a sinister smile played on his lips. "I think we should... kill them all!"

Damian Morgan was horrified.

"Once everyone in the Kane family is dead, won’t all the assets be yours?"

"But..."

Damian Morgan’s courage failed him. He was greedy and would do anything for money, but Timothy Quinn’s proposal was to wipe out the entire Kane family. That was utterly monstrous!

He wouldn’t dare do something like that even if he had a hundred times the nerve.

"I’ll help you kidnap everyone in the Kane family. You do the deed and kill them all. How about it?" Timothy Quinn continued.

He shook his head vehemently. "No, I can’t. I don’t have the guts. If someone’s going to do the killing, you do it. Afterward, once I inherit the Kane Group, I can give you money. As much as you want."

"Don’t be so naive. If something happens to the Kane family, all the benefits fall to you. You think the police won’t suspect you?"

"Since you know it’s not that simple and the police will definitely suspect me, why are you suggesting such a terrible idea? You think I have a death wish?"

"We can frame someone else. If we coordinate it well, we can make it seamless."

Damian Morgan paused, slightly taken aback. "Who are you thinking of framing?"

"Who else? Alaric Blackwood, of course."

The smile in Timothy Quinn’s eyes deepened. "Originally, I wanted to take down both the Halloway and Blackwood families. But I investigated the Halloways from top to bottom and found no real dirt. Quentin Blackwood had an affair and an illegitimate daughter when he was younger, which was something to work with, but he beat me to the punch by holding a press conference himself. He and his wife are in the middle of a divorce now. So, I’ll just go after their son instead. Pin the blame for a family massacre on Alaric Blackwood, and he’ll never be able to recover. It would undoubtedly be the biggest blow to both the Halloway and Blackwood families. Public opinion alone would be enough to drown them. It’s the perfect revenge."

After hearing Timothy Quinn’s plan, Damian Morgan’s throat went dry. He swallowed hard, completely intimidated by the young man before him.

"Conor Sullivan, you’re one ruthless bastard!"

"They have only themselves to blame. If it weren’t for them, why would my parents have jumped to their deaths?" Timothy Quinn’s expression turned savage as he gritted his teeth, forcing out each word. "If it weren’t for them, how could I have ended up nearly losing my own life?"

He slapped his leg. "I’m going to be disabled for the rest of my life, and it’s all their fault."

"I will have my revenge on them. A brutal revenge."

The identity of Timothy Quinn was actually that of Troy Wright’s missing son. Quinn was the maiden name of Troy Wright’s wife. After their son disappeared, Ms. Quinn’s mental health deteriorated. The two later divorced, and Ms. Quinn had been living in a mental institution ever since. Troy Wright used to work for the Sullivan family as their butler and had received many favors from them. Therefore, when Conor was in trouble, Troy chose to repay the family’s kindness by helping him.

Fortunately, before his parents were arrested, they had left him a sum of money in a secret overseas account.

His legs were broken by men sent by Bianca Kane. While he was hospitalized, Troy Wright was already arranging for someone to help him leave the country. But unexpectedly, Bianca Kane wasn’t satisfied with causing the Sullivan family’s downfall and his parents’ suicide; she actually wanted him dead, too.

That night, he was kidnapped by several men, taken to a coastal town, and thrown off a cliff with his hands and feet bound.

He plunged into the ocean. If Troy Wright hadn’t discovered what was happening, secretly followed them, and rescued him in time, his body would have been lost forever.

Later, Troy Wright took him and smuggled him out of the country. He withdrew the money his parents had left for him and relocated to Rhovania to start a new life.

After his legs healed, he looked for an opportunity to return to the country. He and Troy Wright discussed a plan, and in the end, he assumed the identity of Troy’s missing son. The paternity test was done using a hair sample from the real missing son, leaving no loopholes. To avoid detection and as an extra precaution, he even took on Ms. Quinn’s surname, becoming Timothy Quinn.

Legally, he was now Ms. Quinn’s son.
